From the results of a tracer study in November 2023 (UNSRAT Faperta, 2023), it shows that many graduates of the Faculty of Agriculture UNSRAT from the 2020-2022 class are still unemployed, waiting for the CPNS test, or working as private employees. In fact, these graduates have the potential to create jobs, especially with knowledge in agriculture and digital skills. This study was conducted on 160 students to analyze the influence of economic literacy, family economic education, and social environment on students' interest in entrepreneurship, in order to encourage them to utilize their skills to become entrepreneurs. The results of the study showed that all of these variables significantly influenced the interest in entrepreneurship of students at the Faculty of Agriculture UNSRAT Manado.

Abstract

Human resources Management is very crucial in the hospitality industry due to its nature of being labour-intensive. One factor that determines the company's performance is employee productivity, and it is related to the training provided to the employees and their work-life balance. The preliminary studies show that 52.3% of the employees at the resort did not receive their desired holiday rights. There were also complaints about their poor services. The population used in this research is all full-time employees of the five-star resort Bali, 73 employees. The sampling technique used is saturated sampling by taking all the populations as samples. Data is analyzed with the statistical software PLS SEM 4.0. The results of the study indicate that training influences employee productivity positively, while work-life balance does not influence nor moderate employee productivity positively. Therefore, the five-star resort should increase its training activities to improve employee productivity. Since the influence of training on employee productivity is very small by 7.2%, it is suggested that the resort explores other variables that might influence employee productivity such as work discipline, compensation, and employee motivation.

Abstract

While transformational leadership is often praised for its capacity to inspire change and drive innovation, this paper aims to delve into the less-explored negative repercussions of this leadership style, particularly in terms of fostering excessive leader dependency. The study examines how leader-centric dynamics may compromise team autonomy, stifle creativity, and lead to organizational in efficiencies over time. Through a mixed-method approach involving case studies and survey data from multinational organizations, this research unveils that transformational leader, while empowering, can unintentionally cultivate a reliance on their vision and guidance, thereby constraining the cultivation of self-sustaining leadership within teams. The findings underscore the significance of striking a balance between transformational leadership and autonomy-promoting practices to steer clear of dependency traps. This paper contributes to the expanding body of literature on leadership dynamics by offering a nuanced comprehension of the potential risks associated with transformational leadership. Furthermore, it discusses the implications for leadership development, organizational design, and employee empowerment.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how Organizational Culture influences Employee Engagement. By conducting a comprehensive literature review, the research adopts an Organizational Culture perspective to explore the link between these two variables. The findings from the systematic literature review indicate that Organizational Culture plays a significant role in determining the level of Employee Engagement. However, the study also reveals a need for further research to pinpoint specific elements of Organizational Culture that can effectively enhance Employee Engagement, given the wide variety of Organizational Cultures. Future research could focus on developing more precise tools to measure relevant dimensions of Organizational Culture in relation to Employee Engagement and testing more sophisticated theoretical models to explain their connection.
