Abstract

The innovation of making bubble with the addition of beet puree can be one way to improve the quality of texture, taste and nutrition of bubble. To get a chewy bubble texture, it require a long boiling time to cook through inside. One way to reduce this weakness is to use beetroot as the raw material for bubble. Beetroot have a high starch content which causes increased elasticity in the dough. The starch contained in beets really helps the starch gelatinization process. The method used is an experimental method with three types of treatment, which bubble with the addition of 60%, 80% and 100% beet puree. The validity test conducted using organoleptic tests on five expert panelists with six aspects, that is color, chocolate aroma, beet aroma, sweetness, beet taste and texture. Based on the results of the analysis, bubble with the addition of 60% beet puree is superior in various aspects of assessment so it is concluded that bubble with the addition of 60% beet puree is the product with the best organoleptic quality. Physical test is done by measuring the weight and diameter of the bubble before and after boiling with 3 repetitions. The analysis results showed that the average bubble weight is 457.3 mg, while the average bubble diameter is 8.74 mm. Consumer acceptence test was conducted using hedonic test (favorability test) on 30 panelists. The results of the favorability test showed that bubble with the addition of 100% beet puree was most liked. Analysis result show that the addition of beet puree to bubble has no real effect or difference.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of several variables, namely (1) CSER and (2) IT investment, on company value, which is moderated by the company innovation variable in mining sector companies listed on the BEI in 2018 - 2022. The population in this study is all mining companies, as many as 76 companies. Sampling used purposive sampling with certain criteria and obtained a sample of 9 companies multiplied by five years of observation to become 45 financial reports. The data collection technique used is a documentation study that analyses the financial reports of mining companies that meet the sample criteria according to the needs of the data to be processed. Data were analysed using the STATA application. The research results found that CSER and IT investment had no effect on company value; company innovation was not able to strengthen the influence of CSER on company value, while company innovation was able to strengthen the effect of IT investment on company value. This research was also conducted on mining companies, considering that the mining sector is closely related to the environment. According to the data previously presented, the value of companies in the mining sector experiences fluctuations, which decrease more frequently each year.

Abstract

The post-Cold War era has indeed reshaped the security paradigm, witnessing a surge in non-traditional security issues that intersect with military security concerns. The human security approach has expanded the understanding of threats to encompass phenomena like terrorism, climate change, and human trafficking. While Southeast Asia serves as a microcosm of these complexities, it's imperative not to overlook broader global security trends and perspectives. In this region, intricate security dynamics are shaped by diverse factors, including economic downturns, territorial disputes, and environmental shifts. Although non-traditional threats have gained prominence, traditional ones, such as tensions in the South China Sea, persist and demand attention. Countries like Indonesia and the Philippines have responded by bolstering their defence budgets. Moreover, there's a discernible uptick in the adoption of military operations other than war (OMSP), with a growing emphasis on humanitarian aid and disaster relief efforts. However, amidst evolving international strategic landscapes, it's crucial to adapt. For instance, Indonesia's recent establishment of the Defence Intelligence Agency underscores the imperative to enhance defence capabilities for non-war military missions.

Abstract

Article 239 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) of the MD3 Law regulates the right of political parties to conduct inter-term dismissal (PAW) of DPR members. However, the ambiguity in Article 239 paragraph (2) letters d and g caused controversy because the terms of PAW became unclear and often misused to resolve internal party conflicts. This study aims to analyze the juridical hermeneutics of the provisions of Article 239 paragraph (2) letter d and g of Law Number 17 of 1014 concerning MPR, DPR, DPD, and DPRD. The results showed that abstract interpretations of the phrases "proposed by political parties" and "statutory provisions" open up opportunities for subjectivity in dismissing DPR members. Therefore, the recalling arrangement of DPR members requires further clarification to address the abstract issue of interpretation.

Abstract

This study aimed to evaluate the presence of Rhodamine B dye in usek crackers produced by local manufacturers in Kasepuhan Village, Batang District, Batang Regency. The use of Rhodamine B in food products poses a serious health risk to the community, as it is a banned dye due to its negative impact on human health. The study used the Wool and Thin Layer Chromatography (KLT) method to identify the presence of Rhodamine B in the samples. The results showed that 12 of the 13 samples tested were positive for Rhodamine B, indicating that food manufacturers still use Rhodamine B dye in their products. This discovery highlights the importance of regular monitoring and evaluation to ensure the safety and quality of food products. The study's findings can be used to inform the public about the risks of consuming Rhodamine B-containing food products and to encourage the use of natural dyes in food production.

Abstract

Social and environmental concerns have emerged as globally compelling topics, necessitating attention from all stakeholders due to their significant impact on human life. Sustainable global economic development is intricately tied to the Triple Bottom Line concept, emphasizing Profit, People, and Planet. Among critical natural resources, water resources play a central role across various economic sectors, especially amidst escalating global water scarcity and degradation challenges. While research in this area has evolved significantly, many studies remain limited in scope, focusing on specific processes or regions and failing to provide comprehensive insights into water usage across different sectors. Building upon previous research, this study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method from 2019 to 2023 to understand trends and progress in water sustainability accounting research. Through the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) method, 23 relevant articles were identified and analyzed from various publishers such as Elsevier, Emerald, MDPI, and others. The findings reveal a diverse distribution of articles across publishers, with Elsevier being the most frequently utilized. This study contributes to the literature by offering insights into recent trends and areas of focus in water sustainability accounting research, informing future research directions and policy-making efforts to address social, environmental, and economic challenges effectively.
