Abstract

This study investigates the potential of red bean flour substitution in enhancing the physical quality and acceptability of sweet Kue Simping, a traditional Indonesian snack. Conducted at the Pastry and Bakery Processing Laboratory of the Culinary Education Program, State University of Jakarta, from February 2022 to January 2024, the research employed an experimental approach. Sweet Kue Simping cakes were substituted with red bean flour at varying percentages of 5%, 10%, and 15%, and evaluated by 30 moderately trained panelists. Statistical analyses, including the Friedman test, revealed no significant effect of red bean flour substitution on the acceptability of sweet Kue Simping in terms of various sensory attributes. However, physical quality tests using ANOVA demonstrated a significant influence of red bean flour substitution on the diameter of sweet Kue Simping. Duncan's test further confirmed notable differences among the treatments. The study recommends utilizing a 5% substitution of red bean flour to develop sweet Kue Simping, offering a novel approach to diversify traditional snacks and potentially reduce reliance on tapioca flour. Furthermore, data collection and analysis techniques were meticulously applied to ensure replicability and comprehensive interpretation of the research findings.

Abstract

The Qur'an is the greatest miracle revealed by Allah SWT to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) as a guide for mankind. One of the main focuses of the Qur'an is to teach people about the worship of Allah, to warn against sins, and to give instructions for doing good in personal and social life. The phenomena and stories contained in the Qur'an are not just fairy tales but are a source of wisdom and knowledge that can be taken by humans. Through observation and understanding of the verses of the Qur'an, people are invited to draw closer to Allah and learn from the stories of the previous people. One example of the story recorded in the Qur'an is the destruction of the people of 'Ad, whom the Prophet Hud sent to warn them against idolatry. Despite warnings, the people of 'Ad remained in defiance, so Allah inflicted torment on them in the form of dark clouds that brought no rain, but strong winds and destruction.

Abstract

The introduction of health in the community is not only seen in the health sector but also must be seen in all sectors that influence health problems. Generally, there are two kinds of causes of stroke. The first is a blockage of the arteries, called ischemic stroke, while the second cause is rupture of blood vessels, or stroke ischemic, while the second cause is a rupture of blood vessels called a hemorrhagic stroke. Other causes of stroke can be a temporary disruption of blood flow to the brain, commonly referred to as an ischemic attack (TIA). These three conditions have a series of potential factors that trigger stroke. Hemorrhagic. Other causes of stroke can be a temporary disruption of blood flow to the brain, commonly referred to as an ischemic attack (TIA). Abstract

Work fatigue is a prevalent issue among public service workers, particularly nurses, impacting their performance and patient care. This study focuses on outpatient nurses at Hospital X in South Jakarta, aiming to identify factors associated with job fatigue. Using a quantitative cross-sectional design, data was collected from 100 outpatient nurses in 2023. Univariate and bivariate analyses, including the chi-square test, were conducted. Results revealed that 68.9% of nurses reported moderate fatigue, with significant associations found between high fatigue complaints and workload (p-value 0.000) and age (p-value 0.026). These findings underscore the need for Hospital X to address workload issues by considering additional personnel to mitigate fatigue among nurses. Such measures can enhance service quality and potentially improve nurse well-being, thereby benefiting patient care. Furthermore, implications suggest the importance of empathy training and holistic awareness of biopsychosocial components in addressing nurse fatigue and improving patient outcomes.

Abstract

This quantitative descriptive study uses the ARIMA model approach to predict groundwater river water availability. It assesses its valuation with an econophysics orientation in the Leang Lonrong Cave area of TN Bantimurung Bulusaraung. Secondary data from 2010-2023, including Water Discharge and Water Level data from the River Basin Center of Pompengan Jeneberang (BBWS) and primary data on the Valuation of Willingness to Pay, were utilized. The analysis reveals that water discharge predictions (2024-2030) in the Gua Leang Lonrong area indicate consistent annual water availability, with the highest discharge projected in December 2030 (5.08 m3/s) and the lowest in September 2024 (1.12 m3/s). Valuation of utilizing Leang Lonrong River water through willingness to pay showed residents willing to pay Rp 42,142.85/month for clean water management. At the same time, visitors are willing to contribute Rp 21,596.77/visit to enhance water quality management. Elasticity analysis modeling water discharge with willingness to pay suggests a relatively elastic relationship, with a minor impact, indicating unresponsiveness to changes in water discharge percentages. Statistical and economic methods were employed to analyze daily water discharge patterns and evaluate residents' willingness to pay for underground river water utilization. The ARIMA model (0,1,1) forecasted future water discharge patterns with a mean absolute percentage error (MAPE) of 33.7%. The study surveyed 62 respondents, finding an average willingness to pay approximately IDR 21,596.77 per visit to maintain Leang Lonrong River water quality management.
