Abstract

This study aims to analyze strategies for improving Islamic financial inclusion through the utilization of digital platforms among female teachers at Vocational High Schools (SMK) in Pati Regency. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach supported by simple quantitative data (mixed method), involving 90 respondents obtained through interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The results indicate that the level of Islamic financial literacy is still dominated by the moderate category (47.8%), followed by the low category (27.8%) and the high category (24.4%). Meanwhile, 64.4% of respondents have utilized digital platforms, although 35.6% have not used them optimally. These findings suggest that digital platforms play a strategic role in enhancing Islamic financial inclusion, although their utilization is not yet evenly distributed. Therefore, integrated strategies are required, including strengthening digital-based Islamic financial literacy, practical training in the use of digital financial services, integration of financial literacy into Vocational High Schools (SMK) learning, collaboration with Islamic financial institutions and fintech, and strengthening digital literacy. Thus, the utilization of digital platforms can serve as an effective solution to improve Islamic financial literacy and inclusion sustainably while reinforcing the role of teachers as literacy agents within educational and community environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of company characteristics on capital structure, as proxied by short-term leverage, long-term leverage, and total leverage. The independent variables used include company size, profitability as proxied by ROA, tangible assets (tangibility), company growth (growth), and company risk (risk). This study uses panel data with 150 company observations during the study period and is analyzed using a panel data regression method with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach as the best model. The results show that company size has a negative and significant effect on all capital structure proxies, namely short-term leverage, long-term leverage, and total leverage. Tangible assets have a significant negative effect on short-term leverage and total leverage, but have no significant effect on long-term leverage. Company risk has a significant positive effect on short-term leverage and total leverage, but has no significant effect on long-term leverage. Meanwhile, profitability and company growth do not show a significant effect on all capital structure proxies. The adjusted R-squared value indicates that the model has a fairly good ability to explain variations in company capital structure. These findings indicate that a company's capital structure decisions are more influenced by company size, risk, and asset characteristics than by profitability and company growth factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the effects of economic growth, micro and small industries human development index, and populations on the open unemployment rate in Java Island over the period 2015 to 2024. This study employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression analysis with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) as the selected estimation method. The data were sourced from Central Statistic Agency (BPS). The results indicate a simultaneous effect of all four independent variables on the dependent variable. The panel data estimation findings reveal that economic growth and the human development index have a significant negative effect on the open unemployment rate in Java Island. Meanwhile, populations demonstrate a significant positive effect on the open unemployment rate. In contrast, the micro and small industries variable shows no significant effect on the open unemployment rate in Java Island. This study contributes to the advancement of labor economics literature, particularly in understanding the dynamics of open unemployment at the regional level, and provides practical recommendations for regional governments in formulating more effective and targeted employment policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of organizational support and work involvement on employees' innovative work behavior, with job satisfaction as a mediating variable, at Regional Government Organizations in the Government of West Tanjung Jabung Regency. This study employed a quantitative approach involving 290 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires that had experienced validity, reliability, comprehension testing, and instrument revision. The results showed that work involvement had a positive and significant effect on innovative work behavior, while organizational support and job satisfaction had no significant effect. In addition, organizational support and work involvement positively affected job satisfaction, but job satisfaction was unable to mediate the relationship among the variables. These findings indicate that improving employees' innovative work behavior is more effectively achieved through strengthening work involvement rather than increasing job satisfaction.

Abstract

COVID-19 is a virus that attacks Islamic non-bank financial institutions, such as Islamic microfinance institutions (IMFI). BMT's presence is useful for freeing people from the usury system and promoting justice; it is also meant to act as a link between Islamic beliefs and poverty alleviation. A systematic review aims to provide a detailed, unbiased synthesis of multiple relevant studies. Conventional literature review felt lacks a formal methodology for monitoring the impact of a therapy, a far more methodical approach is necessary. This article aims to discover Pandemic covid-19 impact to BMT by means of a systematic literature review. The advancement of BMT literature during the COVID-19 pandemic may be divided into four categories namely by year of study, kind of published document, based on the research approach, and based on the type of research. Result of the study explained that COVID-19 pandemic has an impact on BMT activities such as the fluctuating level of development in the number of Non-Performing Financing. The phenomenon of non-performing financing is also found in several BMTs. The role of BMT in the economic empowerment of the lower economic community includes the role in the development of MSMEs and its impact on business development (total assets, income, profits, and business stability) and decrease unemployment through employee recruitment. Future study can use a quantitative and/or mixed method approach. The study's object can be expanded by expanding the research object and/or do content analysis/library research/conceptual research.
