Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of experiential marketing, service quality, brand image, price, and customer expectations on customer satisfaction at XXI Cinema Gresik. The research method used is a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires to 240 respondents. The results show that the variables of experiential marketing, service quality, price, and customer expectations have a significant influence on customer satisfaction while the brand image variable does not have a significant effect on customer satisfaction. In conclusion, companies are advised to improve service quality and experience-based marketing strategies.

Abstract

The ASEAN Economic Community is a form of globalization occurring within ASEAN. Macroeconomic issues such as unemployment present a challenge for ASEAN countries as they strive to succeed in reducing unemployment rates through investment, trade in goods and services, connectivity, and labor management. This research aims to analyze the influence of economic growth, FDI, economic globalization, social globalization and political globalization on unemployment in member countries of the ASEAN Economic Community. This research is quantitative research using panel data during the 2016-2022 period with observations from ten member countries of the ASEAN Economic Community. The analysis method used is panel data regression. Based on the results of the panel data regression model selection test using the Hausman test, the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) was the appropriate model to be used in this research. The research results show that the economic growth variable has a negative and significant effect on unemployment with a coefficient of -0.039169. The FDI variable has a positive and significant effect on unemployment with a coefficient of 0.123884. The political globalization variable has a negative but not significant effect on unemployment with a coefficient of -0.176722. The economic globalization variable has a positive and significant effect on unemployment with a coefficient of 0.157475. The social globalization variable has a negative and significant effect on unemployment with a coefficient of -0.308238..

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, financial inclusion and lifestyle on the investment interest of the millennial generation on Bawean Island. The millennial generation in this region, numbering 18,095 people, has great potential to increase economic growth through investment. However, the level of financial literacy and understanding regarding financial inclusion among them is still low. The research used a quantitative method with a survey approach, involving 100 respondents selected using a simple random sampling technique. Data collection was carried out through questionnaires, and data analysis used multiple linear regression. The research results show that financial literacy, financial inclusion and lifestyle significantly influence investment interest. Financial literacy provides a deep understanding of risk management and investment decision making, while financial inclusion increases access to financial services. Lifestyle also plays an important role in encouraging more productive investment behavior. This research contributes to efforts to develop policies that support increasing financial literacy and inclusion to encourage wider investment participation among the millennial generation, especially in the Bawean Island area.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of institutional ownership, the presence of independent commissioners, and company size on the integrity of financial statements in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period from 2019 to 2023, considering the role of audit quality as a moderating variable. The analysis results show that independent commissioners and company size have a significant and positive impact on the integrity of financial statements, while institutional ownership does not have a significant effect. In addition, audit quality was not proven to moderate the relationship between institutional ownership, independent commissioners, and company size on the integrity of financial statements. This study has limitations, such as the sample being limited to manufacturing companies and the use of conservatism as the sole proxy for measuring financial statement integrity. Future research is recommended to expand the sample, extend the research period, and incorporate other variables such as profitability, leverage, managerial ownership, or audit fees.

Abstract

Delays in implementing training and the number of lecturers being trained for new equipment is not commensurate with the number of classes being taught in the teaching and learning process, this requires a method of sharing knowledge (knowledge sharing). Sharing knowledge (knowledge sharing) is carried out when lecturers receive training on new equipment. It is hoped that this can be done both with colleagues and students. Several factors influence the success of knowledge sharing. Factors that influence knowledge sharing, a research model was developed using three independent variables which include locus of control, goal orientation, and self-efficacy. Data was obtained from 69 samples who were laboratory and simulator lecturers at the Makassar Maritime Science Polytechnic (PIP) which were then analyzed using the Multiple Regression Test. The results of Multiple Regression testing show that knowledge sharing is statistically influenced by locus of control, goal orientation, and self-efficacy, meaning that if locus of control, goal orientation, and self-efficacy increase, the practice of knowledge sharing will also increase.

Abstract

Insurance is a financial means in economic guarantees, both in facing risks to owned assets. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect effects of insurance premiums, claims and recovery on service quality through motor vehicle insurance user satisfaction. This study uses a quantitative method approach. The data collection technique (instrument) used is a survey and questionnaire. The population and sample are purposive motor vehicle insurance users totaling 126 respondents. Data analysis uses SEM-PLS analysis with outer and inner models. The results of the study found that insurance premiums and claims directly have a positive and significant effect on the quality of motor vehicle insurance services. Recovery has a positive and insignificant effect on the quality of motor vehicle insurance services. Insurance premiums, claims and recovery directly have a positive and significant effect on the satisfaction of motor vehicle insurance users. User satisfaction directly has a positive and significant effect on the quality of motor vehicle insurance services. Insurance premiums, claims and recovery directly have a positive and significant effect on service quality through motor vehicle insurance user satisfaction in Makassar City.

Abstract

Leadership, competence, and motivation are key aspects that greatly influence government policies in child protection that are strategic in the efforts of the government and related institutions to protect the rights and welfare of children, especially at the operational level such as social services or child protection institutions. This study aims to analyze the direct and indirect influence of leadership, competence and motivation on child protection through government policies. The study was conducted at the Makassar City Social Service, using a quantitative approach. The data collection technique (instrument) used was a survey and questionnaire. The population and sample used full sampling of 107 respondents. Data analysis consisted of validity testing consisting of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Convergent Valdity, Average Variance Extracted (AVE), Discriminant Validity and reliability testing. Furthermore, quantitative analysis using Partial Least Square (PLS). The results of the study found that the variables of leadership, competence, and motivation directly had a positive and significant effect on government policies and child protection. Furthermore, indirectly the variables of leadership, competence, and motivation had a positive and significant effect on child protection through government policies.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse customer behaviour in saving in Islamic banking using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework which is extended with religiosity variables to increase the external validity of the model and understand consumer behaviour more comprehensively. The method used is quantitative research with causality analysis through the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach using LISREL software version 8.70, based on data from 180 respondents. The results showed that people's positive attitudes, subjective norms, and perceived behavioural control significantly influenced the intention to use Islamic banking products, with subjective norms as the most dominant variable. In addition, perceived convenience and ability also affect both intention and actual behaviour, while religiosity only has an impact on intention with no significant effect on actual behaviour. These findings indicate a gap between religious beliefs and actual actions in the use of Islamic banking products.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the management of receivables at PT Pos Indonesia Regional V Surabaya, focusing on the control of problematic receivables, credit analysis, and collection procedures. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document reviews, including aging reports of receivables. The results indicate that 74% of receivables are over six months old, reflecting inefficiencies in credit risk assessment and collection practices. To reduce problematic receivables, the implementation of more effective management strategies is recommended, such as credit feasibility analysis, a more structured credit sales policy, and strengthening internal controls. These steps are expected to stabilize cash flow and improve the quality of service to customers.

Abstract

One of the important needs for the Indonesian people is cooking oil. Inflation is one way cooking oil supports the Indonesian economy. Therefore, policies that support it must be supported by policies that can improve the lives of many people, such as pricing, shipping goods, and maintaining market price stability. Permendag No. 49 of 2022 article 10 paragraph 2, which regulates the management of people's cooking oil of IDR 14,000.00 per liter or IDR 5,500.00 per kilogram for people's cooking oil in bulk and IDR 14,000.00 per liter for premium packaged cooking oil. This study aims to determine how Indonesia regulates the highest retail price of cooking oil, the impact of setting the highest retail price on the community, and an analysis of Permendag No. 49 of 2022 concerning the highest retail price of cooking oil from a maslahah mursalah perspective. By using the conceptua approach and statute approach, this research is normative. Document studies are used to collect legal documents, which are then processed and reviewed descriptively using deductive reasoning logic. This study shows that the retail price policy for cooking oil causes punic buying in the community, because it causes cooking oil stocks to run low and creates competition between traditional and modern traders. This policy is known as maslahah ammah, which is believed to have a good impact in providing protection to consumers and buyers.
