Abstract

This study examines the political communication strategy of Dr. Drs Benhur Tomi Mano, M.M (BTM) following his electoral defeat in the 2025 Papua Repeat Election (PSU), highlighting his transformation from an electoral leader to a moral leader. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, this research uses discourse analysis, cultural semiotics, and media triangulation to explore BTM’s narratives, symbols, and political messages within Papua’s socio-cultural context. The findings reveal that BTM transformed electoral loss into symbolic and moral capital through value-based communication rooted in local wisdom, spirituality, and social solidarity. His rhetoric of compassion, defense of indigenous land (Cycloop), and continuous presence among communities strengthened his moral legitimacy beyond formal authority. The study concludes that BTM’s communication strategy represents a model of Papuan leadership that frames politics as a domain of service, reconciliation, and social healing.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Influencer Marketing and Online Customer Reviews on Brand Awareness of Coklat Dubai Don Bakeshop. The research refers to the Influencer Marketing theory, Online Customer Review and Brand Awareness theory. A quantitative method was applied through a survey of 384 respondents aged 17–35, selected using purposive sampling. The respondents were active social media users who had heard of or purchased the Coklat Dubai Don Bakeshop product. Data were collected via structured questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression with SPSS. The results show that both Influencer Marketing and Online Customer Reviews have a positive and significant impact on Brand Awareness, with Influencer Marketing having a stronger effect. These findings confirm the effectiveness of digital strategies in building brand recognition in the local culinary market.

Abstract

Awareness of maintaining Al-Qur’an memorization is the key to success in the comprehensive Al-Qur’an memorization exam for students at PTIQ University Jakarta. Awareness of maintaining Quran memorization is closely related to internal motivation, which will direct all activities to achieve goals, through persistent efforts to repeat what has been memorized. This study used qualitative methods. This study concluded that internal motivation is the most important factor in fostering awareness of maintaining Al-Qur’an memorization. Internal motivation will encourage and direct students to make maximum efforts in maintaining Al-Qur’an memorization. Cultivating awareness of maintaining Al-Qur’an memorization can also be done by understanding, reflecting on, and analyzing hadiths that contain the virtues of memorizing the Al-Qur’an and the obligation to maintain Al-Qur’an memorization.

Abstract

This This study aims to analyze and test the application of George Gerbner 's Cultivation Theory in the context of the influence of Chinese Drama (C -Drama) on viewers' perceptions of Domestic Harmony . Along with the penetration of digital media and the globalization of entertainment, C-Drama has become a significant cultural phenomenon among Indonesian viewers. These shows often present narratives that emphasize traditional Chinese values, patriarchal family structures, specific gender roles, and ideal expectations or realistic conflicts in marriage. This study hypothesizes that long-term exposure to these narratives will influence viewers' perceptions of social reality, particularly regarding the norms and dynamics of household relationships. The research method used is quantitative with a survey approach . The research population is married adult viewers in urban areas who regularly and intensively watch C-Drama for at least two years (heavy viewers), as well as a control group ( light viewers ). Data were collected through a questionnaire that measures: (1) Exposure Level ; (2) Perception of Social Reality regarding the role of husband/wife, conflict resolution, and harmony standards; and (3) Support for the Main Principles in C-Drama. Data analysis was carried out using Binary Logistic Regression techniques and Spearman Correlation tests to compare differences in perception between heavy viewers and light viewers (differential cultivation effects). The results of the study indicate that there is a significant cultivation effect among heavy C-Drama viewers . Viewers with high exposure tend to have more idealistic or, conversely, more dramatic perceptions of conflict and gender roles in the household compared to light viewers. Specifically, heavy viewers show a higher tendency to internalize the values ​​of filial piety or unrealistic romantic expectations towards partners, which can potentially trigger mismatched expectations in the practice of household harmony. This study concludes that C-Drama narratives act as a "symbolic environment" that shapes viewers' views, requiring critical media literacy to distinguish fiction from social reality.

Abstract

Formal education often struggles with character formation due to fluctuating discipline, limited role modeling, and academic pressure. Pondok Modern Darussalam Gontor (PMDG) offers an alternative through a 24-hour hidden curriculum built on habituation, role modeling, institutional rituals, and peer norms. This study aims to describe the concept of the hidden-curriculum environment, analyze the role of teachers in character formation, and evaluate managerial strategies in its implementation. Using a qualitative single-case study and thematic analysis, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document review. Findings reveal six main channels of the hidden curriculum—daily rules, teacher exemplarity, institutional rituals, peer norms, structured reflection, and digital ethics—supporting a shift from sanction-based compliance to value internalization. The synergy of habituation, modeling, and reflection supported by measurable SOPs strengthens student character and offers an adaptable model for other pesantren.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how internal control systems, digital wallets, and e-marketing affect the success of MSMEs in Mempawah Regency. A quantitative research method was used. The data was analyzed using Partial Least Squares (PLS)-based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Data were obtained from 100 MSME respondents in Mempawah Regency through purposive sampling. The analysis results show that internal control systems influence the success of MSMEs. Likewise, digital wallets have been proven to influence the success of MSMEs. Conversely, e-marketing does not influence the success of MSMEs. In the meantime, the impact of internal control systems on MSMEs' success could be mitigated by e-marketing interactions. Likewise, e-marketing interaction was able to moderate The impact of digital wallets on the success of MSMEs. Therefore, it can be concluded that MSMEs' prosperity is significantly impacted by internal control systems and digital wallets, while the role of e-marketing is still less than optimal.

Abstract

In modern reality, the relationship between teachers and students is increasingly losing the depth of the values ​​of love and affection. Education tends to be directed solely at academic achievement without paying attention to the formation of personality. Even teachers are often not appreciated properly and students lose their direction in seeking role models. Amidst the urgency of creating a humane education, two works of classical Islamic scholars, namely Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta‘allim by KH. Hasyim Asy‘ari and Ta‘lim al-Muta‘allim by Syaikh Az-Zarnuji, have emerged as important references. These two books not only discuss learning methods or the nature of knowledge, but more deeply, namely Making Love an Ecosystem in Education and Learning. The objectives of the research are (1) How is the Concept of Love-Based Education from the Perspective of KH. Hasyim Asy'ari and Syaikh Al-Zarnuji (2) how love becomes the basis of a love-based education ecosystem in learning and education. The approach in the research is Qualitative with the type of content analysis research on the text of the book Adab Al-'Alim wa Al-Muta'alim in chapters three and seven, the texts of the book Ta'lim Al-Muta'alim related to Love-Based Education. The data collection technique uses documentation, data processing techniques and data analysis using comparison, to analyze more deeply the researcher also uses the theory developed by Miles Hubberman, namely data reduction, data display and verification. As for triangulation, namely Triangulation of Sources and Techniques. The results of the study (1) KH. Hasyim Asy'ari and Syaikh Al-zarnuji have the same view on the importance of compassion in education, but with different emphases, KH. Hasyim Asy'ari emphasizes the structure of adab and spiritual responsibility, while Syaikh Al-zarnuji emphasizes righteous intentions and clean emotional relationships, (2) Integrating compassion as an educational ecosystem, reviving compassion as the main principle of education, building a humane atmosphere.

Abstract

Lamtama Funeral Service is a service business based in Palembang that has been relying on basic communication tools such as text and calls to manage its operations. The absence of a structured digital system poses challenges in data management, service scheduling, and customer coordination, often leading to inefficiencies and risks of human error in service delivery. This study aims to design a web-based funeral service management application tailored to the operational needs of Lamtama Funeral Service. The system is expected to digitize and streamline key processes such as deceased data management, funeral scheduling, service package administration, document archiving, payment confirmation, and online consultation for clients. The development process adopts the Waterfall methodology, which provides a systematic and sequential approach through stages of requirement analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research is a web application prototype that offers a more organized and accessible platform for Lamtama staff, thereby improving service efficiency, data accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the philosophical, historical, and cultural values within the Sang Maung Bodas martial art school as a representation of Sundanese heritage and pesantren spiritual tradition. Using a qualitative descriptive approach through literature study, participatory observation, and interviews with martial arts masters and pesantren leaders, the study reveals that Sang Maung Bodas functions not only as self-defense but also as a character education system combining spiritual, physical, and social aspects. Values such as sincerity, loyalty, and moral responsibility serve as the foundation for students’ and warriors’ character formation. This martial art embodies the continuity between Pajajaran’s noble teachings and Islamic values within pesantren education. Therefore, Sang Maung Bodas holds strategic relevance for modern education emphasizing balance among body, soul, and moral virtue.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of HIV/AIDS response policies in Krian District, Sidoarjo Regency, based on Sidoarjo Regent Regulation No. 27 of 2018. The method used is qualitative descriptive with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that the implementation of HIV/AIDS response policies in Krian Subdistrict has been carried out through six main aspects, namely health promotion, HIV prevention, HIV diagnosis testing, treatment, care and support for people living with HIV/AIDS, HIV surveillance, and rehabilitation. The program implementation has generally been running well and has involved various parties such as the Krian Community Health Center, the Health Office, and the Delta Crisis Center NGO. However, the effectiveness of policy implementation still needs to be improved, especially in terms of human resource availability, funding allocation, and cross-sector coordination. The study results show that social environmental factors and the existence of localized areas also influence the increase in the number of HIV/AIDS cases in Krian District, so efforts to strengthen cross-institutional collaboration and optimize resources are needed so that HIV/AIDS prevention in the area can be more effective and sustainable.
