Abstract

This research aims to determine the feasibility and response of students to LKPD for science learning on HOTS-based energy sources for class III students. The research method used is Research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE development model. The ADDIE development model consists of 5 stages, namely, Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. ). This research was carried out at SDN 001 Penyengahan in October 2023. Data collection techniques were observation, interviews and questionnaires. The research subjects involved were 1 media expert lecturer, 1 material expert lecturer and 22 class III students. Based on the results of feasibility testing by media expert validation with a percentage of 90% in the "Very Feasible" category and material expert validation with a percentage of 92% in the "Very Feasible" category. Meanwhile, the percentage of student response questionnaire results was 87.65% in the "Very Feasible" category. Based on the validation feasibility test results from media experts, material experts, and student responses, it can be concluded that the development of HOTS-based science learning LKPD in Theme 7 Sub-theme 1 Energy Sources is stated “Very Appropriate” is used.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching aids in learning mathematics using the systematic literature review (SLR) method. This method involves the systematic collection and analysis of relevant studies. This study sought to answer several 4 key questions. The results of the SLR showed that teaching aids, including physical manipulatives, visuals and interactive technologies, significantly improved students' primary learning of mathematics learning outcomes. The studies reviewed show that 1) teaching aids are used to avoid communication errors, facilitate the learning process, arouse students' interest and motivation, and present abstract mathematical concepts in a concrete form. 2) Teaching aids can be an effective bridge to improve students' understanding and learning outcomes. 3) The importance of concrete experience and active learning in learning mathematics. 4) Teaching aids that are often used in the learning process at secondary school level are boards or cards made of cardboard and polystyrene. These are used to visualise various mathematical concepts such as flat shapes, quadratic equations and trigonometry. It supports project-based and collaborative learning and improves pupils' engagement, understanding and learning outcomes in mathematics. The conclusion of this review confirms the importance of teaching aids in the learning of mathematics in secondary schools.

Abstract

The completeness of science learning outcomes has an influence on the teacher's success in determining learning methods. Science learning about the human digestive system for class V students at SDN Simo, the level of completion of learning outcomes for students is only 52%. The aim of the classroom action research was to maximize science learning outcomes using the team quiz method assisted by animated video media on the human digestive system. The subjects in the research were fifth grade students, consisting of 10 female students and 13 male students. In cycle I, the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes was 70% and increased by 13% in cycle II to 83%. The conclusion obtained from this research is that choosing a team quiz learning method using animated video media can maximize science learning outcomes for class V students at SDN 1 Simo

Abstract

This study aims to assess the impact of implementing Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in enhancing the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDSI Amalia. In an effort to implement Science learning based on Problem-Based Learning (PBL), this research utilized a classroom action research method with a research subject consisting of 12 students in SDSI Amalia. Data was collected through observation, practice, and analysis of documents related to the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) to enhance the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDSI Amalia. Observations were conducted by Supervisor 2 during the learning process, and the researcher practiced teaching students to gain a subjective perspective. Based on the data results achieved, there was an improvement in the learning process. In the pre-cycle, 3 students completed the task with a percentage of 25%, in cycle I this number increased to 10 students completing the task with a percentage of 83.33%, in cycle II all students completed the task with a score above the Minimum Completion Criteria (MCC). Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) is effective in enhancing the critical thinking skills of fifth-grade students at SDSI Amalia. This reaffirms the importance of student-centered, collaborative learning methods that encourage creative problem-solving.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out whether the use of the Jarimatika method and the Quizizz game media in multiplication material can improve student learning outcomes. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK). This research was carried out over two cycles. There are four phases to each cycle: planning, action, observation, and reflection. In each research cycle, a test method is used to collect data through observation and documentation. The results showed that only 33.33% of students completed the pre-cycle cycle, increasing to 50% in cycle 1 and in cycle II it increased again to 83.33%. This shows that the mathematics strategy assisted by the Quizizz game media has succeeded in improving student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of study is to describe (1) the errors made by students in sloving relation and function problems in class VIII UPT SMP Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir, (2) the causes of errors made by students in solving relations and function problems, this type of research is qualitative with a descriptive method. The subjects in this study were class VIII.2 students of SMP Negeri 1 Ranah Pesisir consisting of 6 students, namely 2 students each, with high, medium and low abilities. The instruments in this study were the researchers themselves, students error test sheets and interview guidelines. Data collection was carried out by tests and interviews. The data analysis used was 1) data reduction, 2) data presentation, 3) drawing conclusions the research results of the study showed that subjects with high abilities made only a few mistakes, subjects with medium abilities made more than one mistake and subjects with low abilities made many mistakes. The types of errors that students often make in relation and function material are in the concept, studenst do not understand the function material so that students cannot distingish between function and relations and relations. In principle, students do not remember and do not write down the function formula. Errors in operations occur because students are not careful in completing integer aritmetic operations in relation and function questions.

Abstract

This study began with the very low average mathematics score in class VII-B MTs. Negeri 2 Mojokerto, which was 56.6 and students who achieved learning completion were 17 students or 51.5%. From the analysis of the questions that had been done, the most difficulties experienced by students were students who had difficulty in determining the mean, mode and median, quartile deviation and average deviation from a frequency table. This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes about data presentation in class VII-B MTs. Negeri 2 Mojokerto with the recitation method. The subjects of the study were 33 students in class VII-B. The researcher used a classroom action research model. Observations were divided into two learning cycles, each cycle was carried out for 2 meetings. The results of the study concluded that the application of the recitation method can improve mathematics learning outcomes about data presentation. This is based on the results of the study which continued to increase from the first to the last cycle. In the first cycle, an average score of 69 was obtained. Students who had achieved learning completion were 22 students or 66.7%. In the second cycle, the average value was 79.2. Students who had achieved learning completion were 29 students or 87.9%.

Abstract

Mathematics learning in class VIII C MTs. Negeri 2 Mojokerto, experienced problems. In the daily test on systems of linear equations, the class average score obtained was very low, namely 58.8. There were 21 students who had achieved learning completeness or 56.8%. Action research aims to describe the application of problem-based learning in mathematics learning and to find out whether the application of problem-based learning can improve learning outcomes for systems of linear equations. This research is action research. Based on the research that has been carried out, it is concluded that the application of problem-based learning can improve mathematics learning outcomes regarding systems of linear equations in class VIII C MTs. Negeri 2 Mojokerto. This is based on an increase in pre-cycle learning outcomes of 5.01, with a learning completion percentage of 21.6%. In the first cycle, the average post test result was 70.8, with a learning completion percentage of 40.6%. Meanwhile, the average second cycle post test result was 8.56, with a learning completion percentage of 91.9%.

Abstract

The research is based on the low activity and learning outcomes of students in class IV SDN 02 Ujung Ilir. This study aims to improve the activity and learning outcomes of students in science learning with the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model in class IV SDN 02 Ujung Ilir. The research is an action in the classroom. The subjects of the study were 30 students in class IV SDN 02 Ujung Ilir in the odd semester of 2023/2024. The procedure of the study began with planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The study produced instructions in cycle I for making learning modules, the average percentage was 82.91% (B), in cycle II there was an increase of 90.68% (SB). Second, the results of the implementation of the learning aspects of teachers in cycle I obtained an average of 75% (C), in cycle II there was an increase to 92.75% (SB). Third, the results obtained from the application of student learning aspects in cycle I averaged 77.22% (C), in cycle II there was an increase to 92.65% (SB). Fourth, the results of student learning in cycle I obtained an average of 78.08 (C), in cycle II there was an increase to 84.67 (B). So it can be concluded that the PJBL Model can improve student activity and learning outcomes in science learning in class IVSD 02 Ujung Gunung Ilir.

Abstract

The problems of this research are low student involvement in learning, lack of media use in learning and low student learning outcomes. This study aims to determine the improvement of science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Islam Unggulan Hidayatul Mubtadiin Daya Murni using picture media. The research includes classroom action research (PTK) with 3 cycles. The subjects of this study were 28 fifth grade students of SD Islam Unggulan Hidayatul Mubtadiin Daya Murni. Data collection was carried out through tests and descriptive data analysis. The results showed that the use of picture media can improve students' science learning outcomes, namely in the pre-cycle 10.71%, cycle I 53.57%, and cycle II 85.71%. The results of the study above can be concluded that the use of picture media is effective in improving science learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SD Islam Unggulan Hidayatul Mubtadiin Daya Murni.
