Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of student discipline and learning interest on learning outcomes in basic office management and business services subjects at SMK Negeri 48 Jakarta. The study used a quantitative approach with a correlational method. Data was collected from 54 students using a questionnaire that measured their level of discipline, interest in learning, and learning outcomes. The results of the analysis show that learning interest has a positive and significant influence on learning outcomes, with a coefficient value of 0.585 (p < 0.001). Meanwhile, student discipline has a positive but insignificant influence on learning outcomes (coefficient 0.196, p = 0.104). Overall, discipline and interest in learning together have a significant influence on student learning outcomes (F = 24.564, p < 0.001). This finding suggests that interest in learning is the main factor in improving learning outcomes, while discipline, although important, does not directly affect learning outcomes significantly.

Abstract

This article analyzes the benefits of animated audio-visual media as an effective learning tool for elementary school students. The use of animated videos has been proven to increase student participation and learning outcomes, and is more effective than conventional presentation videos in improving concentration. Animated media presents complex concepts in an interesting and easy-to-understand way, in line with constructivist learning theory. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, collecting data from various sources such as journals and relevant articles. The results of the study show that animated media can explain material visually, increase motivation, and clarify the relationship between concepts. However, challenges such as high production costs, long processing times, and limited devices and teacher capabilities are obstacles that need to be overcome to maximize the use of this media in learning.

Abstract

Increasing student involvement in the learning process is one of the main goals in education. Utilizing local learning resources that include cultural potential, traditions and the surrounding environment is a strategic approach to achieving this goal. This research aims to explore how local learning resources can increase student engagement through relevant and meaningful learning. Where the method used isliterature study. The results show that local learning resources that include culture, traditions and the surrounding environment can increase student participation and strengthen feelings of love for the culture and surrounding environment.

Abstract

Improving student competence is the main focus in the world of education to face the challenges of the 21st century. This article aims to examine innovative learning strategies that can be applied to improve student competence, both in terms of cognitive, affective, and psychomotor. The method used is a literature study by analyzing various innovative learning approaches, such as project-based learning, flipped classroom, and technology integration in the learning process. The results of the study show that these strategies are able to increase learning motivation, student involvement, and critical, creative, and collaborative thinking skills. In addition, the implementation of this strategy also shows the important role of teachers in designing adaptive learning that is relevant to student needs. Thus, innovative learning strategies are a potential solution in creating a competent, adaptive generation that is ready to face global challenges.

Abstract

Learning is an interaction between teachers and students which aims not only to convey knowledge but also develop attitudes, skills and values. The use of creative learning media is an effective solution for increasing students' motivation, interest and understanding of the material. Media such as interactive videos, educational dolls, and smart cards can help turn abstract concepts into more concrete and easy to understand ones. However, challenges such as limited facilities, lack of mastery of technology by teachers, and limited access to information still often occur. Possible solutions include technology training for teachers, alternate use of learning tools, and expanding digital access for students. By implementing the right strategy, the use of creative learning media can increase the effectiveness and quality of the teaching and learning process and support the creation of more innovative and interesting learning.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the use of local environmental resources in an effort to improve student learning outcomes. The local environment-based learning approach provides students with the opportunity to understand academic concepts through direct experience that is relevant to everyday life. The method applied is classroom action research (PTK), which includes the stages of planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The research subjects were elementary school students in certain areas. Data was collected through observation, interviews and learning outcomes tests. Research findings show that the use of local environmental resources, such as flora, fauna, culture, and geographic potential, is able to increase student participation, foster awareness of environmental responsibility, and deepen their understanding of academic concepts. The increase in learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in the average student score in each cycle as well as the positive response to this learning method. The use of local environmental resources has proven to be effective in creating meaningful, contextual and relevant learning. Therefore, integrating local resources in learning can be an innovative strategy to improve student learning outcomes while supporting environmental conservation efforts. This study recommends that teachers creatively utilize local resources as media and sources of sustainable learning.

Abstract

This research aims to illustrate the importance of extracurricular activities in developing students' talents and interests at SDN Aengdake I. Extracurricular activities such as sports and scouting are a means to shape character, improve social skills, and support students' holistic development. With a qualitative descriptive approach, this research utilized the results of observation activities and interviews with supervising teachers and school principals to obtain comprehensive data. The research results show that extracurricular activities at SDN Aengdake I are able to have a positive impact on student development, both in physical, emotional and social aspects. The teacher's active role in designing and guiding activities is the main factor in the success of this extracurricular program.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the relationship between debt transactions involving usury (riba) and their impact on individuals' mental health. The method used in this study is qualitative, with a discourse analysis approach to news articles discussing the topic of usury and its effects on individuals, both in economic and psychological contexts. Through this analysis, we examine how the media portrays the connection between usury and mental health disorders, as well as the psychological impact of debt transactions involving usury. The findings of the study indicate that news reports tend to highlight the negative effects of usury-based debt on mental health, including stress, anxiety, and depression. This research provides insights into the role of the media in shaping public perception of this issue. It shows that there is a significant relationship between usury-based debt and mental health, as reflected in the news. The media plays an important role in shaping public perception and can be used as a tool to raise awareness of this issue.

Abstract

This research is library research, namely a series of research related to library data collection methods, or research whose research objects are traced and explored through various library information through (books, encyclopedias, scientific journals, newspapers, magazines and documents. Data used in this research is secondary data. Secondary data is data obtained not from direct observation but rather the data is obtained from the results of research conducted by previous researchers related to use standard word.

Abstract

A teacher is required to be able to be a communicator and facilitator in school. This is very sustainable with the learning process, especially student motivation. Currently, student motivation is quite minimal. This research aims to increase student motivation by using comic-based learning media. The method used in this research is literature review research with descriptive analysis technique. This research uses systematic literature review techniques to collect various data and materials sourced from previous scientifict journal articles within the last 10 years. This method is used to obtain theoretical and systematic information data. The research results show that comic-based learning media greatly influences students’ motivation in learning. In line with previous research, if students feel bored, of course student motivation will also decrease, which will reduce the effectiveness of learning and lead to failurw in the world of education. By using interesting media, students will develop a sense of curiosity independently and will try to explore related learning material.
