Abstract

This study focuses on examining the commodification of grief in news content about the deaths of public figures on the TikTok app through a case study of the news of Vidi Aldiano’s death. The research focuses on how public grief is constructed, disseminated, and exploited as a digital commodity to garner audience attention, engagement, and economic profit on social media platforms. This study employs a qualitative descriptive method using a netnographic approach and Vincent Mosco’s theory of commodification to understand the relationship between emotional content, the audience, and digital platform mechanisms. The results indicate that tragic news, such as the death of a celebrity, can lead to increased engagement on accounts, which can yield commercial benefits. Public grief is not merely an emotional expression but is also commodified through content production and distribution practices oriented toward digital attention. This study concludes that TikTok serves as a space that highlights the transformation of collective emotions into economic value within the digital media ecosystem.

Abstract

PT Madubaru PG-PS Madukismo merupakan perusahaan pengolahan tebu menjadi gula kristal putih dengan proses produksi yang memiliki potensi risiko kecelakaan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi bahaya, penilaian tingkat risiko kecelakaan kerja, dan menentukan upaya pengendalian risiko pada proses produksi menggunakan metode Job Safety Analysis (JSA). Metode penelitian dilakukan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara, dan dokumentasi pada stasiun penggilingan, pemurnian, penguapan, masakan, dan putaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat potensi bahaya dengan tingkat risiko rendah hingga tinggi yang memerlukan pengendalian melalui penggunaan APD, perbaikan prosedur kerja, dan peningkatan pengawasan K3. Penerapan metode JSA diharapkan mampu meminimalkan risiko kecelakaan kerja dan meningkatkan keselamatan kerja di lingkungan produksi.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa merupakan proses yang bersifat multidimensional, di mana penguasaan sejumlah aspek krusial menjadi keniscayaan, mulai dari pembedaan antara kompetensi dan performansi, keterkaitan antara komprehensi dan produksi bahasa, hingga perdebatan yang belum tuntas mengenai peran nature dan nurture dalam pemerolehan bahasa. Artikel ini mengkaji secara mendalam bagaimana masing-masing dimensi tersebut memberikan kontribusi terhadap keseluruhan proses pembelajaran bahasa, sekaligus menawarkan berbagai strategi yang dapat diterapkan untuk mendorong dan memperkuat kemampuan berbahasa. Kajian ini berlandaskan pada beragam kerangka teori dan temuan empiris dari bidang linguistik terapan serta pendidikan bahasa.

Abstract

Studi ini berupaya menelaah bagaimana mahasiswa akuntansi mempraktikkan penyimpanan dokumen saat menjalani program magang di bagian pemeliharaan pada Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Bina Marga Provinsi Jawa Timur. Pendekatan studi yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif, di mana data diperoleh melalui dialog dengan para mahasiswa yang sedang menjalankan magang. Hasil studi mengungkap bahwa pengelolaan dokumen di instansi tersebut menggunakan perpaduan cara konvensional dan digital. Akan tetapi, pemanfaatan metode digital belum sepenuhnya optimal karena tidak semua arsip telah diubah menjadi format digital. Para mahasiswa yang magang mengalami sejumlah hambatan, antara lain kesukaran dalam menemukan arsip terdahulu, belum menguasainya sistem pemberian kode arsip, serta adanya beragam tata cara pengarsipan di tiap-tiap unit. Walaupun demikian, mahasiswa telah menunjukkan pondasi yang kuat dalam administrasi arsip dan memperlihatkan kemajuan kemampuan khususnya pada sisi ketepatan, kerapian, dan jiwa tanggung jawab. Oleh karena itu, pengalaman magang terbukti berkontribusi positif dalam meningkatkan keahlian mahasiswa akuntansi, terutama dalam hal manajemen arsip di lingkungan lembaga pemerintahan.

Abstract

. Interfaith marriage represents a complex issue that sparks controversy in Indonesia's pluralistic society, particularly from the perspective of the Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), which governs marriage law for Muslims in religious courts; Article 40 of the KHI explicitly prohibits marriage between Muslim men and non-Muslim women (kafir), although it permits Muslim men to marry women from the People of the Book (Jews or Christians) under strict conditions, grounded in Quranic verses such as QS. Al-Baqarah: 221, which forbids marriage to polytheists until they believe, and QS. Al-Mumtahanah: 10, which restricts ties with non-Muslims, aiming to preserve the purity of Islamic faith, prevent household conflicts due to differing beliefs, and ensure children's religious education is based on Islam; this provision aligns with Law No. 1 of 1974 on Marriage, Article 2 paragraph (1), which requires marriages to follow each party's religion, rendering interfaith marriages invalid under state law and potentially triggering legal issues such as child status, inheritance, and maintenance, even as clandestine or overseas practices persist, challenging law enforcement amid human rights dynamics and religious pluralism.

Abstract

Ruang publik digital Indonesia telah menjadi arena penghakiman massa menyusul terungkapnya kasus Kekerasan Seksual Berbasis Elektronik (KSBE) di Fakultas Hukum Universitas Indonesia pada April 2026. Meskipun kemarahan publik terhadap pelaku merupakan respons sosial yang sah, hal tersebut kerap bereskalasi menjadi persekusi digital berupa hinaan verbal, hasutan kekerasan, serta doxing yang menyasar pelaku dan keluarganya. Studi ini mengkaji faktor-faktor struktural yang mendorong eskalasi tersebut dengan argumen bahwa algoritma platform berbasis keterlibatan (engagement-based algorithm), kemarahan moral kolektif, dan rendahnya kepercayaan publik terhadap implementasi UU TPKS bekerja sebagai mekanisme yang saling memperkuat. Melalui kajian pustaka kualitatif yang mengintegrasikan analisis hukum dan teori sosial, studi ini mengidentifikasi kekosongan normatif kritis, yaitu belum tegasnya hukum positif Indonesia dalam membedakan kritik publik yang sah dari persekusi digital yang dapat dipidana. Kekosongan ini berisiko menormalisasi kekerasan berbasis massa atas nama solidaritas. Berdasarkan hal analisis tersebut, studi ini merekomendasikan intervensi multilevel yang mencakup reformasi tata kelola platform, pengaturan doxing secara eksplisit, dan penguatan penegakan UU TPKS sebagai prasyarat terwujudnya ruang publik digital yang kritis sekaligus berkeadilan struktural.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to understand the impact of the montessori method-based multiplication board media on the understanding of the concept of multiplication among grade III MI students. The population studied consisted of 40 students. The research sample consisted of 40 students, where class III-A became an experimental class with 20 students and class III-B became a control class with 20 students. Data was collected using pretest and posttest. The results of the study show that students' understanding of the concept of multiplication is influenced by the multiplication board media based on the Montessori method. In the experimental class, the average score was 82.25 and in the control class was 76.75. The results of the hypothesis show a tcal value of 0.006 and a ttable of 0.05. Based on decision-making, if the tcount value is < table, it is stated that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted at the level of α = 0.05. This shows that the multiplication board media based on the Montessori method has an influence on the understanding of the concept of multiplication by grade III MI students.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the increasing need for guidance and counseling services for special populations, such as individuals with disabilities, victims of violence, at-risk adolescents, prisoners, and problematic migrant workers who face difficulties in the process of self-adjustment. The main problem addressed in this study is how guidance and counseling services contribute to improving the psychological and social adaptation abilities of these vulnerable groups. The objective of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services, the intervention models applied, and their implications for the self-adjustment of special populations. This research employed a library research method using a descriptive qualitative approach through thematic synthesis of various empirical studies and related scientific literature. The findings indicate that guidance and counseling services significantly contribute to improving self-efficacy, adaptive coping skills, self-awareness, and social support among clients. REBT-based counseling, feminist counseling, family counseling, and trauma-informed approaches were found to be effective in specific contexts. The novelty of this study lies in its integrated synthesis across various special populations regarding the effectiveness of guidance and counseling services on self-adjustment. This study contributes as a foundation for developing more inclusive, contextual, and needs-based guidance and counseling services for vulnerable groups, although it is limited to literature-based analysis without primary data

Abstract

Self-harming behavior among adolescents is an increasingly alarming mental health issue in secondary schools, both in Indonesia and globally. This article aims to comprehensively examine the role of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in the prevention and management of selfharming behavior in secondary school settings. Using a systematic literature review approach, this study analyzes various relevant scientific sources, including qualitative and quantitative studies, systematic reviews, and meta-analyses published between 2019 and 2024. The results indicate that guidance and counseling teachers occupy a strategic position as the first line of defense in detecting, supporting, and referring students exhibiting self-harming behaviors. Several counseling approaches have proven effective, including behavioral, psychoanalytic, and cognitive-behavioral approaches. However, the effectiveness of school counselors’ role also depends on several supporting factors, such as training, emotional competence, and skills in managing compassion fatigue. Furthermore, collaboration among school counselors, parents, mental health professionals, and the entire school community is a critical prerequisite for creating a comprehensive prevention system. Abstract

Bullying in junior high school (SMP) environments is a serious problem that negatively impacts students' psychological, academic, and social development. Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers hold a strategic role in preventing and handling bullying behavior in school settings. This article aims to examine in depth the role of BK teachers in addressing various forms of bullying in junior high schools through a literature review approach. Research data was obtained from various Indonesian-language scientific journals published after 2021. The results show that BK teachers play a role through various services, including information services, individual counseling, group guidance, group counseling, mediation, and collaboration with parents and school staff. The effectiveness of the BK teacher's role is greatly influenced by supporting factors such as firm school policies, an ideal BK teacher-student ratio, and active parental involvement. This research is expected to serve as a reference for BK practitioners in designing more comprehensive and sustainable bullying intervention programs.
