Abstract

This research was designed to analyze the meaning contained in the Qur'an, Al-Muddassir verse 38 regarding responsible character. This article presents an analysis of the verse from various views of Qur'an interpretation scholars in order to reveal the implied meaning of Qur'an surah Al-Muddassir verse 38, whether it has anything to do with the responsible character in question. As social creatures, responsible character is an important point in living life and in society so that every step and decision taken is always full of careful consideration because everything will be accounted for. This research is based on qualitative methodology, such as literature study or literacy study of various books and articles related to the topic being discussed. The author gathered information from leading websites referenced papers and journals. The author conducted a literature study in this research by reading, concluding, then processing and making the collected data as material for the research carried out.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the development of the Islamic Religious Education curriculum in Indonesia starting from the Dutch-Japanese colonial pre-independence period, the old order period, the new order period, the reformation period to the independent learning curriculum. The research in this article was carried out using the library research method. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative research. The results of this research show that the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum has always developed following the times, starting from the pre-independence era characterized by a colonial-style education system, the old order curriculum consisting of the 1947 curriculum, the 1952 curriculum and the 1964 curriculum, the new order curriculum. consisting of the 1968 curriculum, 1975 curriculum, 1984 curriculum, 1994 curriculum, reform period education curriculum consisting of KBK (2006), KTSP (2006), 2013 curriculum and the independent learning curriculum where each curriculum has its own characteristics in its implementation.

Abstract

There are two techniques for evaluating student learning outcomes: evaluation with test and non-test techniques. The objectives of the writing include understanding the characteristics of learning outcome evaluation, knowing the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains as the object of learning evaluation, knowing the main steps in learning outcome evaluation, and understanding the application of learning outcome evaluation, both test, and non-test. This paper is useful for students, namely it can add insight for students about test and non-test techniques as a tool for evaluating learning outcomes. The method used in this study is library research. Research is carried out by collecting information and data from various sources such as reference books, similar previous research results, articles, notes, and numbers related to the problem to be solved. The evaluation of learning in modern times in Islamic education shows an effort to adapt to the times, making education more relevant and responsive to the needs of society. Evaluation not only serves to provide value but also to provide constructive feedback. This helps students understand their strengths and weaknesses and how to improve them. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of social media content on environmental awareness among elementary school students and the role of social media in supporting environmental education. The research employs a literature review with a qualitative approach, relying on data from various sources. The findings indicate that social media content focusing on environmental issues has the potential to enhance students' environmental awareness. Additionally, the active role of teachers and parents in guiding social media usage is crucial to ensure students access content that supports environmental education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the transformation of Islamic education management in the era of globalization, focusing on the challenges and opportunities faced in maintaining the relevance and quality of Islamic education. In the context of globalization, Islamic education faces pressure to adapt to technological advances, social changes, and global standards, which necessitates a dynamic and innovative management approach. This research employs a qualitative-descriptive method through literature review, interviews, and field observations in Islamic educational institutions in Indonesia. The academic debate in this research includes diverse perspectives on integrating local values with global demands, as well as the dilemma between modernization and the preservation of tradition. Some advocate for modernization as an effort to enhance the competitiveness of Islamic education, while others are concerned that modernization may erode fundamental Islamic values. This study finds that the transformation of Islamic education management in the globalization era has the potential to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of educational institutions, particularly through the application of information technology and the development of a more inclusive and contextual curriculum. However, this process requires Islamic educational institutions to be more adaptive, while maintaining the essence of religious teachings. The findings of this research are expected to contribute to the development of policies that support sustainable Islamic education that is relevant to the times while remaining rooted in Islamic values.

Abstract

Education is one of the main pillars of social and economic development, especially in developing countries. Generally, education not only serves as a means of knowledge transfer but also plays a crucial role in shaping individual character and skills. In developing countries, education can be a tool to address various challenges such as poverty, social injustice, and economic inequality. In the context of analyzing education budgets in Nigeria and Congo, the most suitable research design is mixed methods research. This approach combines quantitative and qualitative methods, allowing researchers to gain a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of the phenomena under study. A comparison of education budgets in Nigeria and Congo shows significant differences in the allocation and management of educational resources. Nigeria, with a larger budget allocation, has the potential to improve the quality of education, while Congo faces more fundamental difficulties with relatively low budget allocation. The factors influencing education budgets in both countries are highly variable.

Abstract

Hijab (veil) was seen by the general public as a product of Islam and Arab culture, but looking back at history, as recorded in the book of bilarama (3000), hijab (veil) was a product of human civilization it can be seen that it is a cultural product. The role of religion in the process of the journey (veil) of hijab is acculturation, establishing different kinds of rules to create perfection in hijab itself. The focus of this study is to analyze the two holy books of god's religion (Al-Qur'an and the Bible) through their teachings and historical aspects to clear up misconceptions about prejudice among the common people, and to get to know the people, that's it and through our commonalities and differences, we become more tolerant. This study is based on the qualitative foundations of library research style, and the research focus is on comparative research. The important point in this text is that hijab is not a product of religion, but the result of culture and religion setting rules. The Bible and Qur'an require secrecy, Muslim women wear hijab during daily activities, but Catholic women are not required by canon law to wear mantillas during religious events or prayers, the mantilla is not compulsory under canonic law, and the hijab is compulsory under Islamic law.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the Effect of Mind Mapping Method on Improving Children's Memory Ability in Learning Qur'an Hadith at TPQ Amal Ikhlas, Percut Sei Tuan District.This research is motivated by the memory ability of students who are assessed as low at TPQ Amal Ikhlas.This research uses descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The sample in this study is 1 class with a total of 14 students who are used as an experimental class. Data collection was carried out by test using SPSS version 23.Data management techniques used validity tests and reliability tests. For the data analysis test, normality and homogeneity tests were used. The results of this study show that the application of the mind mapping method has a significant effect, it is expected that the memory ability of students at TPQ Amal Ikhlas Percut Sei Tuan District.The average post-test ability of students in the test results is higher than before.

Abstract

This study discusses effective and innovative learning media to improve students' interest and learning outcomes. Interest in learning is the desire to do something because of interest and pleasure in doing it, including in terms of learning. Learning also requires learning media to help the teaching and learning activities take place. Learning media is a tool that can be used to help the learning process to be effective and innovative. Wordwall is a network-based digital gamification application that is useful as a learning resource, learning media, and a fun assessment tool for students. With the aim of knowing the implementation of the use of wordwall learning media in Arabic language learning, knowing how students learn Arabic with carrot learning media, knowing whether there is an increase in the use of learning media in the Arabic language learning process and knowing the learning outcomes of students using wordwall learning media. This study uses a qualitative descriptive analysis approach through interviews and documentation. The results of the study show that wordwall learning media can provide benefits and good things such as increasing students' enthusiasm and motivation in learning in learning activities. In using this learning media, preparation is needed in making RPP learning media, designing interesting and appropriate types of game content and adjusting the level of difficulty. However, the obstacles in using this motorcycle learning media are the limited ability of educators to use the Word application, the lack of adequate facilities and infrastructure, and the length of time needed to prepare the material.

Abstract

This research aims to increase Medan State University physics education students' understanding of the concept of the photoelectric effect through the use of the PhET Colorado virtual laboratory. The concept of the photoelectric effect is often a challenge due to its abstract nature and limited laboratory facilities in educational institutions. The research method used was in-depth interviews with three sixth semester physics education students to identify their understanding. The research results show that the virtual laboratory is able to visualize difficult scientific concepts with interactive simulations, significantly increasing student understanding. However, several limitations such as less realistic data availability and limited metal types need to be considered. These simulations provide an engaging, safe, and economical learning experience, and provide an innovative alternative to conventional teaching methods. It is recommended that lecturers receive training in using virtual laboratories and develop supporting modules to maximize the benefits of this media in physics learning.
