Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of strengthening Islamic character through education in Islamic boarding schools. Using the library research method, this study examines various sources that discuss the implementation of character education in Islamic boarding schools. The results of the study indicate that habituation methods, such as congregational prayer and post-Maghrib sermons, as well as exemplary behavior from kiai and ustadz, are effective strategies in shaping the character of students. In addition, the study of yellow books and the application of discipline also play an important role in the internalization of Islamic values. Supporting factors include adequate facilities and infrastructure, the figure of kiai as a role model, strict rules, and supervision from ustadz/ustadzah. However, challenges such as the influence of secular culture and modern technology are obstacles in this process. Therefore, it is necessary to adapt character education strategies that are in accordance with the context of the times without ignoring the traditional values ​​of Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study is intended to determine the steps for using flashcard media in learning Indonesian Language Subjects for grade 1 students at MI Humaira, Bojong Gede District, Bogor Regency. Bogor which is taught using flashcard media. To find out whether flashcard media can foster student learning activity in Indonesian language learning for grade 1 MI Humaira students, Bojong Gede District, Bogor Regency. This research uses 2 cycles of classroom action research methods. It can be seen that students' reading ability has increased each cycle, namely in the pre-cycle there were 9 students or 32%, there was an increase in the first cycle, namely 18 students or 64% and at the end of the second cycle there were 26 students or 93% who completed. Flash card media can foster student learning activity in Indonesian language learning for grade 1 students at MI Humaira, Bojong Gede District, Bogor Regency.

Abstract

Scout activities are carried out in an organized manner by students outside of study hours. Scout activities have groups based on the age of the students. Scout activities have the aim of forming students' disciplined character. This research was conducted at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al – Hidayah I Cilodong Depok. The results of observations on extracurricular activities show that there are still students who are not good at discipline, it is proven that many of them are excused from scouting for family events and other reasons. This research aims to analyze "Analysis of Scouting Extracurricular Activities in Building Students' Disciplined Character at MI Al Hidayah 1 Cilodong Depok". This research is qualitative research. The data used in this research is qualitative data. Qualitative data is a type of data that is not in the form of numbers, but descriptive, narrative. The formation of students' disciplinary character can be formed due to the elements of disciplinary character, namely rules, punishment, rewards and consistency. The coach's strategy for forming students' disciplined character is to provide role models, examples and habituation to discipline. The obstacles experienced by students are external factors and internal factors which hinder discipline. The solution is for the coach to meet with the parents, then look for a solution together. Next, move the activity schedule to non-Saturdays, so that students create enthusiasm for learning, rest earlier for students who learn quickly, for those who have difficulty memorizing, look for more effective learning styles.

Abstract

This research is in the background that the third grade students of MI Al-Huda Citatah Cibinong Bogor are still not optimally managing and increasing the independence of their students in the school environment. With this background, the researcher is tasked to investigate whether there is a relationship between student independence and the learning outcomes of Aqidah Akhlak grade III MI Al-Huda Citatah Cibinong Bogor. This research was conducted at MI Al-Huda Citatah Cibinong Bogor, a research population of 71 students with a total sample of 71 people, with systematic sampling techniques from classes III A and III B. This study applied a quantitative correlation method with research instruments using a questionnaire for student independence and report card scores for the Learning Outcomes of Students' Aqidah Akhlak Akhlak. The data was analyzed using the Product Moment correlation technique. The results showed that r calculation = 0.559 > r table = 0.235. Thus, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, which means that there is a relationship between student independence and the learning outcomes of moral beliefs of grade III students. Similarly, the significance test with the t-test shows that t count = 5.098 > t table = 1.995. This means that the relationship between student independence and the learning outcomes of students' moral beliefs is a significant relationship. Meanwhile, the effect of the contribution of the Relationship between Student Independence and the Learning Outcomes of Students' Moral Aqidah is shown by KD (Coefficient of Determination) = 0.312 which means that the Student Independence Relationship provides 32% of the Learning Outcomes of Students' Aqidah Akhlak Akhlak.

Abstract

 This research was carried out because the mangrove protection debt in Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency was already denuded, causing damage to the ecosystem. This makes researchers want to look for hadiths about the environment. The aim of the research is to understand hadiths about the environment, various functions of mangroves, and symptoms caused by environmental damage. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method through a revelation approach, namely by studying Islamic literature sourced from the Koran and Hadith. The result is that there are several verses in the Koran that contain environmental issues, namely surah al-A'raf 56, 74, al-Baqarah verses 11,12,30, 60, al-Qasas 77, ar-Rum 41, and Yunus verse 41. There are many hadiths related to the environment, namely planting trees and reforestation, reviving dead land, air, water, maintaining the balance of nature.

Abstract

This research examines the transformation of Quranic exegesis (tafsir) in the digital era, focusing on opportunities, challenges, and hermeneutical reorientation. The methodology employs a qualitative approach with literature studies and descriptive analysis of various digital platforms providing Quranic interpretation services. The findings indicate that the digital era offers significant opportunities in democratizing access to tafsir, facilitating cross-madhab verse search and interpretation, and developing interactive exegetical methodologies. However, major challenges include the validity and authority of digital tafsir sources, interpretation polarization, and degradation of classical scholarly traditions. Hermeneutical reorientation is necessary through developing digital epistemology that maintains classical hermeneutical principles while being adaptive to technological dynamics. This research contributes to developing a comprehensive digital hermeneutical framework for Quranic exegesis relevant to contemporary needs.

Abstract

This research uses the ADDIE development model to develop sparkol videoscribe learning media on the description text material for grade V students at SD Negeri 066650 Medan City in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research involved 23 class V students as research subjects, 2 expert validations with the aim of testing the validity of sparkol videoscribe learning media and 1 teacher to test the practicality of sparkol videoscribe learning media in Indonesian language subjects in the independent curriculum. Validation by material experts and media design experts showed that this sparkol videoscribe learning media scored high, material experts gave a score of 83 from a maximum score of 100 with a percentage (83%) and a media design expert gave a score of 174 from a maximum score of 180 with a percentage (96.66%). The teacher also gave a high score for the practicality test with a score of 53 from a mascsimal score of 55 with a percentage (96.36%), with all aspects such as appearance, presentation, material, and language getting the categories "very decent" and "very valid". The evaluation results show a significant improvement in the learning results of students seen from the comparison of pretest and post-test scores of students, the pre-test result score is 60.17 while the posttest result score reaches 85.13 with an increase of 24.96. It can be concluded that the videoscribe learning media sparkol is "very feasible" to be used as a learning medium in Indonesian language learning and can improve students' writing skills.

Abstract

Effective schools are a key indicator of educational success, which is not only determined by academic achievement but also by the quality of overall school management. Along with the decentralization policy in education, School-Based Management (SBM) has become a strategic approach to improving school effectiveness through autonomy, participation, transparency, and accountability. This study aims to comprehensively examine the concept of effective schools in the perspective of SBM, including the characteristics of effective schools, factors influencing school effectiveness, the relationship between effective schools and SBM, as well as the challenges and strategies of its implementation. This research employs a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis in several schools in Bogor Regency that have implemented SBM. The results indicate that effective schools in the context of SBM are characterized by strong principal leadership, active participation of the school community and society, professional support for teachers, a positive school culture, and efficient resource management. The main challenges in implementing SBM include budget limitations, resistance to change, and the need for continuous training. With appropriate strategies, SBM is proven to be able to improve school effectiveness in a sustainable manner.

Abstract

The quality of national education in Indonesia continues to face serious challenges, consistently reflected in low scores on international-scale assessments. This concerning condition is significantly influenced by the quality of teacher competence as the primary facilitator in the educational process. Therefore, this study aims to conduct an in-depth and comprehensive analysis of the strategic contribution of academic supervision towards efforts to improve learning quality and teacher professionalism in an integrative manner. Methodologically, this study applies a qualitative descriptive approach through a literature study method (synthesis) of various reputable scientific sources, including journals and research reports published in the last decade to ensure data relevance. Data analysis results indicate that the implementation of academic supervision carried out structurally, especially those adopting collaborative and non-directive approaches, is proven capable of significantly improving teacher performance. This improvement is clearly visible in the enhancement of instructional planning quality, classroom learning implementation becoming more interactive, and evaluation systems, where literature data indicates an average performance indicator increase of up to 15-20% post-supervision intervention. Furthermore, academic supervision is proven effective in building a culture of self-reflection that strengthens the four basic teacher competencies: pedagogical, professional, personality, and social. In conclusion, academic supervision must immediately transform from a mere routine of administrative compliance into a sustainable core school program to guarantee national education quality and the formation of professional teacher identity.

Abstract

This article aims to comprehensively analyze the leadership thoughts and practices of Sunan Gunung Jati, a central figure in the Walisongo (Nine Saints) and reconstruct their relevance for the development of contemporary Islamic educational leadership. This research employs a qualitative approach with library research, examining primary sources in the form of Cirebon historical manuscripts and secondary sources in the form of scholarly books and reputable journal articles. The analysis utilizes historical, conceptual, and contextual approaches to uncover the leadership values ​​embodied in Sunan Gunung Jati's socio-religious practices. The results indicate that Sunan Gunung Jati's leadership is characterized by the integration of spiritual, cultural, and structural values, manifested through exemplary behavior (uswah hasanah), trustworthiness, deliberation (shura), justice, and an orientation toward social transformation. These values ​​are strongly relevant in the development of a contemporary Islamic educational leadership model oriented toward character formation, strengthening institutional culture, integrating modern management with Islamic spirituality, and developing a sustainable educational civilization.
