Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain information regarding the contribution of teenagers from the Al-Muflihin mosque in cultivating religious attitudes. The data in this research uses qualitative data, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation used to collect and strengthen research data. The research subjects were mosque teenagers. The data analysis technique uses the Milles and Huberman models. With data validity techniques in the form of lingering and lengthy, as well as triangulation. The research results showed that the contribution of the mosque's youth was mostly carrying out religious activities so that it could foster religious attitudes in teenagers in the mosque's youth organization.

Abstract

Islam has the ability to adapt to various existing places and situations without being contaminated. Mosques are an important component in classical Islamic education. On the other hand, Kuttab is a pre-Islamic educational institution which is a form of adaptation and modification of Muslims to the old heritage. Then Kuttab experienced significant development as a respectable and dignified educational institution. The universality of Islam is also demonstrated through non-Muslim kuttab teachers, without questioning Islam which is an important part of the kuttab institution. The purpose of this article is to describe the existence of mosques as the original form of early Islamic educational institutions which were the forerunners of the emergence of Kuttab and madrasa educational institutions. By answering the various questions above through in-depth analysis and interpretation, it is hoped that this article can become a reference for finding out significant changes to education in mosques, kuttabs and madrasas. This article uses a type of qualitative research with a study approach (library research). The analysis used is by using the Miles & Huberman interaction model. What this article produces is the historical development of Islamic education, social changes in education in mosques which gave rise to kuttab institutions and madrasah institutions.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the supervision of the principal in improving teacher professionalism at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah Rafa. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the principal's supervision plays a crucial role in enhancing teacher professionalism. The efforts made by the principal include coaching, training, and providing motivation. The challenges faced include limited time, lack of teacher awareness, and limited facilities and infrastructure. The solutions implemented are optimizing the supervision schedule, improving communication, and striving to provide adequate facilities and infrastructure. Overall, effective principal supervision, supported by comprehensive efforts, can improve teacher professionalism at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah Rafa.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the recruitment planning of educators at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah Rafa Foundation in Deli Serdang Regency. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The research subjects are the head of the madrasa, teachers, and students at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah Rafa. The results of the study indicate that the recruitment planning of educators at the MIS Bidayatul Hidayah Rafa Foundation has been carried out well, including needs analysis, qualification determination, and the selection process. In conclusion, the recruitment planning of educators at the MIS Bidayatul Hidayah Rafa Foundation has been conducted in accordance with existing procedures.

Abstract

This study examines educational planning at MAS Al-Washliyah, with a particular focus on the implementation of educational plans, parental participation, and curriculum challenges. The research aims to evaluate the implementation of educational plans, analyze the role of parents, and investigate curriculum challenges. The findings reveal that the implementation of educational plans at MAS Al-Washliyah has been successful in improving student learning outcomes through a diverse and relevant curriculum and close collaboration between the school and parents. Despite these successes, the school faces challenges in adapting the curriculum to the rapid pace of developments in science and technology. Recommendations for further research include embracing criticism and feedback for continuous improvement. The research employed a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using triangulation techniques.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and understand the epistemology of Mu'tazilah thought and evaluate its influence on the development of Islamic thought in Indonesia. Harun Nasution, a leading contemporary Muslim intellectual, advocates a revival of Mu'tazilite theology, emphasizing its importance in shaping Islamic thought in Indonesia. Harun Nasution emphasized that integrating rationality into Islamic theology is very important to modernize Islam in the broader context of societal modernization. Using qualitative research methods, this research explores historical and contemporary texts to explore Mu'tazilah principles and their adaptation in Indonesian intellectual discourse. The results of this research reveal that the Mu'tazilite emphasis on reason, ethical responsibility, and social justice has influenced modern Islamic thinkers in Indonesia, shaping interpretations of religious texts and responses to contemporary social and political challenges. In conclusion, this research emphasizes the relevance of Mu'tazilah thought in fostering an Islamic discourse that integrates rationality with religious principles in Indonesian society.

Abstract

The effects of Duolingo as an interactive language learning platform on language acquisition and user engagement is examined in this study. Online language learning programs like Duolingo are becoming more popular, therefore instructors and learners must evaluate their usefulness. This study evaluates Duolingo's language-learning efficacy. The study examines its effects on learning results, user engagement, and learning experience. This mixed-approaches study uses quantitative and qualitative methods to get insights. In contrast, qualitative interview data are thematically evaluated to better understand user experiences and attitudes. This study uses quantitative and qualitative methods to evaluate Duolingo's language learning platform. This SMAIM Samarinda study shows that Duolingo improves pupils' English. Duolingo lets students learn new vocabulary and speak English despite device limits. Learning and mastering difficult concepts is easy with the app's user-friendly features. Most participants were motivated, found the app useful and interesting, and used it occasionally daily. This suggests that Duolingo improves English and makes learning easier in addition to motivating participants.

Abstract

Muhammad Abduh was one of the leading Muslim thinkers and scholars of the 19th and early 20th centuries. His thoughts greatly influenced intellectual and religious reform in the Islamic world at that time. Some of his thoughts may include an analysis of his views on the relationship between Islam and modernity, ideas about reformist Islamic education, as well as his views on the relevance and application of sharia in the context of modern times. Abstract

This research aims to look at the phenomenon of gadget use and its impact on the social behavior of children at the Manbaul Hikam Islamic Boarding School in Tegalmojo Village, Tegalsiwalan District, Probolinggo Regency. This type of research is qualitative research with descriptive methods. The selection of informants was carried out using Purposive Sampling technique. The type of data is collected through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that some students use gadgets. The features that are often used are camera, WA, games, Mp3, YouTube, internet and social media. These features are used to find the information needed, search for study materials, for entertainment, and to relieve boredom. Gadgets are always used all the time and are often used at inappropriate times, such as in the learning process of students using gadgets without the teacher's knowledge. The phenomenon of using gadgets has an impact on the social behavior of students at the Manbaul Hikam Islamic Boarding School in Tegalmojo Village, namely making it easy for students to interact with many people via social media so that they lose track of time and often do not participate in Islamic Boarding School activities.

Abstract

The integration of Islamic education with entrepreneurship is an effort to bring about changes in people's quality of life, attitudes and decision making. Especially for students studying at Islamic boarding schools, this knowledge is very important to learn. In this research, researchers used a qualitative descriptive approach using observation, interviews and documentation. Determining informants using the proportional sampling method. This research found: 1) integration of entrepreneurship and Islamic education is needed to improve the welfare of the community in that location because: a) community leaders are very steeped in religion so they always prioritize religion in everything. b) portrait of the diversity of livelihoods of the surrounding community; c) to establish social, religious and entrepreneurial relations with the surrounding community; 2) implementation of the integration of entrepreneurship and Islamic education in improving the welfare of the Sangen Modern Islamic Boarding School community is carried out by implementing entrepreneurship programs in the fields of fisheries, agriculture and cooperatives/canteens within the Islamic boarding school.
