Sejak bergulirnya revolusi industri (RI) 4.0 tidak hanya sektor industri saja yang terdampak, sektor pasar tenaga kerja dan pendidikan juga turut terdampak. Penyiapan SDM yang berkualitas dan memiliki keterampilan-keterampilan abad XXI agar dapat menghadapi tantangan RI 4.0 perlu dilakukan sejak di bangku SD, salah satunya melalui pembelajaran IPA. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan melatih guru-guru SD di Kota Metro Provinsi Lampung dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang melatihkan keterampilan-keterampilan abad XXI. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode ceramah, workshop, kegiatan mandiri, dan presentasi. Dari kegiatan ini diperoleh nilai rerata n-gain sebesar 0,780 dengan kategori tinggi dan 85% guru peserta kegiatan dinyatakan terampil dalam menyusun perangkat pembelajaran IPA yang melatihkan keterampilan-keterampilan abad XXI. Kata kunci: revolusi industri 4.0, keterampilan abad XXI, perangkat pembelajaran IPA SD AbstractSince the onset of the industrial revolution (IR) 4.0, not only the industrial sector has been affected, but also the labor market and education sectors have been affected. Preparation of the qualified human resources and the 21st-century skills to be able to deal with the challenges of IR 4.0 needs to be done in elementary school, one of which is through natural science learning. This activity is carried out to train elementary school teachers in the Metro City Lampung Province for making natural science learning instruments that practice 21st-century skills. This activity is carried out by lecturing, workshops, independent activities, and presentations. From this activity, an average n-gain value of 0.780 was obtained with a high category and 85% of the teachers participating in the activity were declared skilled in compiling science learning tools that train the 21st-century skills. The national education system so far has not been satisfactory. Looking at this situation, several solutions have been proposed, e.g., updated version of curriculum. However, this solution is not adequate because educators are also expected to be able to prepare students' attitudes and behavior so that they can face the demands of the current situation and the dynamics of change that are rapidly developing. Changes that occur are not only in knowledge and technology but also in aspects of moral values in social life. In addition to family as a center of education, a higher education institution environment also requires a function of character education to shape students’ personality be more positive as expected. In other words, the process of character formation and habituation is the responsibility of not only students’ parents within family domain but also formal higher education institutions. With the various problems that exist at higher education level, character building for primary teacher education (henceforth PGSD) students is needed that they are expected to be able to improve and apply their knowledge, study, appreciate and apply character values in their daily life behavior. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to identify PGSD students’ character formation and ensure the results of the character formation process in a higher education institution in Indonesia.

The profession as a teacher is required to have the ability to write scientific papers. This is stated in the Regulation of the Minister for Empowerment of State Apparatus and Bureaucratic Reform No. 16 of 2009 concerning Teacher's Functional Positions and Credit Scores. In addition, writing scientific papers can be a medium for sharing knowledge related to educational innovation. Therefore, the purpose of this activity is to increase the interest, knowledge, and skills of teachers in writing scientific papers. This community service activity was carried out with a target of 20 elementary school teachers in Metro City. This training activity has 2 stages, the presentation of material about writing scientific papers and the practice of writing scientific papers. Based on the data from the implementation, the training went well. However, there are obstacles to its implementation, namely: at the pretest and post-test stages in the form of an internet connection. In addition, this training was quite effective in increasing participants' knowledge of scientific writing with an n-gain of 0.303. The results of this activity become a reference for policymakers to organize teacher improvement programs in scientific writing and publications. Hal ini tercantum dalam Peraturan Menteri Pendayagunaan Aparatur Negara dan Reformasi Birokrasi No. 16 Tahun 2009 tentang Jabatan Fungsional Guru dan Angka Kreditnya. Selain itu, menulis karya tulis ilmiah dapat menjadi media berbagi ilmu terkait inovasi pendidikan. Oleh karena itu, tujuan dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah untuk meningkatkan minat, pengetahuan dan keterampilan guru dalam penulisan karya ilmiah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilakukan di Kota Metro dengan sasaran 20 guru SD yang ada di Kota Metro. Kegiatan pelatihan ini memiliki 2 tahapan, pemaparan materi tentang penulisan karya ilmiah dan praktik penulisan karya tulis ilmiah. Berdasarkan data hasil pelaksanaan, pelatihan berjalan dengan baik. Meskipun demikian, terdapat kendala dalam pelaksanaannya, yaitu: pada tahap pretest dan posttest berupa koneksi internet. Selain itu, pelatihan ini cukup efektif dalam meningkatkan pengetahuan peserta tentang karya tulis ilmiah dengan n-gain sebesar 0,303. Hasil dari kegiatan ini menjadi rujukan bagi pemegang kebijakan untuk menyelenggarakan program peningkatan guru dalam penulisan karya tulis ilmiah dan publikasi.DOI: https://doi.org/10.23960/rp/v2i1.hal.81-86

Permasalahan dalam artikel ini adalah urgensi pendidikan soft skills bagi mahasiswa calon guru. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelatihan soft skill calon guru di kalangan mahasiswa program studi PGSD di Fakultas Keguruan Universitas Lampung. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi PGSD Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Lampung berjumlah 223 mahasiswa. Sampel dalam artikel ini adalah siswa peserta intrakurikuler yang berjumlah 69 siswa. Data diperoleh secara kuantitatif dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data angket. Hasil dari artikel ini dianalisis dengan statistik deskriptif yang dinyatakan dalam persentase. Berdasarkan analisis, temuan menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara kegiatan intrakurikuler terhadap pelatihan soft skill calon guru calon guru pada program pembelajaran PGSD di Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Keguruan Universitas Lampung. Data menunjukkan bahwa koefisien korelasi rx1y adalah 0,851 dan koefisien determinan r2x1y adalah 0,723. Sebuah thitung dari 24,041 diperoleh setelah uji t. Hal ini lebih besar dari ttabel sebesar 1,9708.

Kurikulum 2013 diberlakukan dalam rangka mempersiapkan generasi yang berkualitas untuk menghadapi tantangan di era revolusi industri 4.0. Pada jenjang pendidikan dasar, kurikulum 2013 menuntut agar peserta didik memiliki keterampilan abad 21, baik berpikir dan bertindak, melalui pendekatan ilmiah sesuai dengan tahap perkembangan anak yang relevan dengan tugas yang diberikan. Kegiatan ini dilakukan untuk guru-guru SD di Kota Metro Provinsi Lampung dengan tujuan untuk mengembangkan profesionalisme guru melalui pelatihan penyusunan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan keterampilan-keterampilan abad 21. Kegiatan ini diawali dengan penyampaian materi kemudian dilanjutkan dengan lokakarya. Di akhir kegiatan peserta diberi tugas mandiri untuk dipresentasikan sesuai dengan waktu yang disepakati. Berdasarkan hasil evalusasi CIPP diperoleh informasi bahwa rerata n-gain berkategori tinggi dan 85% guru peserta kegiatan dinyatakan terampil dalam menyusun rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan keterampilan-keterampilan abad 21. At the elementary level, the 2013 curriculum demands that students possess 21st-century skills, both thinking, and acting, through scientific approaches by the stages of child development relevant to the given task. This activity was carried out for elementary school teachers in Metro City Lampung Province with aims to developed teachers’ professionalism through training for making natural science lesson plans to improve 21st-century skills. This activity began with the delivery of material and then continued with the workshop. At the end of the activity, the participants were given an independent task to be presented by the agreed time. Based on the results of the CIPP evaluation, information was obtained that the average n-gain in a high category and 85% of the teachers participating in the activity were declared skilled in compiling natural science lesson plans to improve 21st-century skills. Classroom Action Research (CAR) is aimed at finding solutions to social problems. CAR is carried out by starting with a systematic study of the problem. The results of this study are then used as the basis for overcoming these problems. In the process of implementing the plans that have been prepared, then an observation and evaluation is carried out, the results of which are used as input to reflect on what happened at the implementation stage. The results of this reflection process then underlie efforts to improve and refine the next action plan. The above stages are carried out repeatedly and continuously until a quality of success can be achieved.Service activities carried out with the aim of understanding and knowing what and how CAR is and understanding the implementation of CAR and being able to carry it out. The targets are elementary school teachers located in Kotagajah District. The method used is the lecture method, question and answer method, and the method of giving examples. The expected condition after this service is an increase in the understanding and knowledge of teachers about what and how CAR is, what and how to make and implement CAR.

The aims of this study are to find out the influence of the role of parents as educators and peers on the character of discipline and tolerance. The type of research that researchers use is quantitative research. The result of this stusy shows that Based on the results of the research and discussion, it was concluded that there was a positive and significant influence on the role of parents as educators and peers on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Gugus R.A. Kartini East Metro District. Following are the complete results of data analysis. 1) There is a positive and significant influence on the role of parents as educators on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Gugus R.A. Kartini East Metro District, indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.411 with a variable contribution of 16.89% is in the "Moderate" criteria. 2). There is a positive and significant influence on the role of peers on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Gugus R.A. Kartini, East Metro District, indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.657 with a variable contribution of 43.16% is in the "Strong" criterion. 3). There is a positive and significant influence on the role of parents as educators and the role of peers on the character of discipline and tolerance of fifth grade students at SD Negeri Gugus R.A. Kartini, East Metro District, indicated by a correlation coefficient of 0.705 with a variable contribution of 49.70% is in the "Strong" criterion.

In the era of rapidly developing technology, playing social media has become a routine for the society. The world seems to be turning digital. Humans always need interaction and interaction requires certain ways. The most used means of interaction today is social media. Social media is one of the most exciting activities online today, but, social media also has an impact on its users, both positive and negative impacts. The positive impact of social media can add insight and meet many people. But behind that there are negative impacts related to social media abuse. This study aims to find out what are the impacts of social media and how important social media is for character education and the importance of holding a training entitled "Social Media Wise Training as an Effort to Build Community Character in Rajabasa Lama Village". Using offline training methods which are then evaluated by distributing questionnaires to collect the data we need from the community. Therefore, according to the servants, there is a need for social media wise training so that people can make better use of social media and this training can be used as an effort to build the character of the people of Rajabasa Lama Village.

Good character needs to be familiarized and exemplified in everyday life by teachers and parents. One character is instilled and accustomed to during that semester. Thus, 12 characters such as orderliness, patience, honesty, responsibility, forgiving, humble, care, sensitivity, concern, tolerance, self-control and wisdom have been formed in children during the 6 years of elementary school. Thematic learning is an interesting learning strategy a number of subjects that provide valuable experience educating students with concise language thematic learning is mixed learning a number of subjects or field studies in one theme. This integration can be seen from the aspects of process or time, curriculum, and teaching and learning aspects. Learning through character formation is the process of carving or sculpting the soul in such a way that it is 'formed' as unique, interesting, and different or distinguishable from others. Creativity learning is a term used in learning activities that have a relationship between creativity and student self-actualization which will be developed through thematic learning activities at school.

The purpose of this research is to see how learning modules can be well developed so that learning loss does not occur. Education in Indonesia applies K13; the orientation of the 2013 curriculum is an increase and a balance between attitude competence, skills and knowledge. In other words, the teacher is a facilitator, besides that the teacher must be able to develop the teaching materials used so that students do not feel bored and bored when learning mathematics. The ways that teachers can do to create and develop teaching materials include using an approach in the process of developing teaching materials, which are in accordance with the material to be delivered. One type of teaching material that can be developed by the teacher is a learning module. Research results show that the benefits for students in module development. One of them is to make it easier for students to understand the material, create effective learning and provide meaningful learning for students. The developed learning modules will be more useful and advance education properly to prevent learning loss from occurring.
