Abstract

Drug abuse, especially marijuana, in Lamteuba, Aceh Besar, is a serious problem that requires strategic handling from the Aceh Provincial National Narcotics Agency (BNNP Aceh). This study evaluates the effectiveness of BNNP Aceh's communication strategy in reducing drug abuse and identifies obstacles and concrete steps taken. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis methods, data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation from BNNP Aceh officials and local communities. The results show that the Grand Design Alternative Development (GDAD) program faces internal obstacles, such as limited infrastructure and funds, as well as external obstacles, such as low community participation and limited market access. In conclusion, BNNP Aceh's communication strategy needs to be strengthened by increasing community trust, cross-sectoral cooperation, and adjusting programs to meet local economic needs.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of leadership styles on employee motivation and performance (Vidani, 2015). It analyzes various behaviors—such as encouraging participation and inspiring a clear vision—and their influence on outcomes. Using Chi-Square analysis, the findings indicate that these relationships are weak and statistically insignificant, suggesting that leadership alone may not drive motivation and performance (Vidani, 2015). The results highlight the importance of other factors, such as organizational culture and individual traits, in shaping employee behavior (Solanki & Vidani, 2016). This challenges conventional leadership theories and advocates for a more holistic view of employee motivation within a broader organizational context (Vidani, 2015). The study recommends future research to explore mediating variables, adopt longitudinal approaches, and investigate non-leadership influences (Vidani, 2016)

Abstract

This study examines the comparison between traditional and modern agriculture in achieving sustainable development. Traditional agriculture emphasizes local knowledge and ecosystem-friendly practices, such as crop rotation and organic fertilizers, but faces challenges in production capacity and climate resilience. Modern agriculture leverages high technology like genetic engineering and chemical inputs to enhance productivity but risks environmental degradation and economic instability for farmers. This research highlights the potential of integrating both systems through agroecology, combining traditional techniques with modern innovations. This integration can increase productivity while preserving environmental sustainability, contributing to a more balanced and sustainable agricultural system
