Abstract

Purpose ­ A comfortable and safe educational environment is necessary for learning. This service aims to develop the Tamansiswa spirit through nutritious gardens in support of the Adiwiyata school program at Tamansiswa Middle School & Vocational School Ngemplak Sleman. Methods – Empowerment and community service activities involving Tamansiswa Ngemplak Sleman Middle School & Vocational School students and Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa University students. Result and discussions - Tamansiswa Ngemplak Sleman Middle School & Vocational School has some land that is still empty so it can be used as a nutritious garden planted with various fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants. In an effort to support the implementation of the Adiwiyata program at Tamansiswa Ngemplak Sleman Middle School & Vocational School, the UST Abdimas Team held a nutrition garden assistance activity for young Dewantara. Nutritious Gardens is a community-based program as an effort to fulfill the need for fruit, vegetables and medicines by utilizing school grounds and other media. Building awareness and advocacy for school residents in overcoming social problems such as health and the environment, introducing various types of fruit, vegetable and medicinal plants, Providing education on how to plant and care for plants, Utilizing empty yards to increase economic value. The result of the service activities carried out by the service team at Tamansiswa Ngemplak Sleman Middle School and Vocational School is that the school has a nutritious garden as a medium for activities to support the adiwiyata program. Teachers and students gain knowledge about the benefits, how to plant and how to maintain or care for plants, especially fruit plants, vegetables and medicinal plants. In the future, schools are expected to have added economic value from nutritious garden products. Conclusion – Community service activities for nutritious gardens in an effort to support the implementation of the Adiwiyata program can be carried out well. It is hoped that teachers and students will continue this activity so that they can gain knowledge about agriculture and added economic value.

Abstract

Purpose This article aims to show how the implementation of digital marketing strategies and branding development can increase product visibility, strengthen competitiveness in the market, and optimize team efficiency through HR empowerment. In addition, this article provides a model that can be replicated by other MSMEs in an effort to achieve sustainable growth and long-term success. Methods The activities carried out were training and lectures on Branding and Digital Marketing as well as Human Resource Management Motivation in UMKM Assisted by Calayan Educational Foundation, Inc. (CEFI, Philippines) Calamansi Juice. The training materials were adjusted to the needs of UMKM in order to be able to answer various problems to improve entrepreneurial and promotional skills. Result and Disscusion Participants demonstrated a significant improvement in their understanding of digital marketing strategies, such as social media marketing, search engine optimization (SEO), and content creation. A workshop on branding enabled participants to design a cohesive brand identity, including logo creation and the development of a brand message that resonates with their target audience. The training also included HR capacity building, such as task delegation, effective communication, and motivation techniques, which have contributed to better team dynamics and productivity. Conclusion Key outcomes include improved understanding and application of digital marketing strategies, the development of a cohesive brand identity, and enhanced team dynamics through HR empowerment

Abstract

Purpose ­ Provide information related to the importance of developing a nature-based tourism village, Providing understanding related to maintaining the environmental conditions of natural tourism umbul udal-udalan, Provide various strategies to maintain the environment so that it is maintained, Provide basic knowledge of waste management around the umbul udal-udalan tourist area. Methods - Implementation of community service activities to this community is directed to eliminate indicators of the existence of environmental problems in the partner area, namely environmental management in the umbul udal-udalan tourist village area inadequate and not in accordance with the the character of the mountainous environment. Transfer knowledge about strategies for protection and waste management in the umbul udal-udalan tourism area, waste management by using best practice, providing assistance and counseling in utilizing waste. Result and discussions - The service was successfully carried out well, this was evidenced by the enthusiasm of the participants who participated in a series of activities during the service. Participants gave a positive response as evidenced in the activities during the service, besides that the participants expressed their satisfaction in participating in this activity because of the increased knowledge related to community empowerment and environmental management of the umbul udal-udalan tourist area. Conclusion - The achievements of the activities or results obtained from this service are: The service was successfully carried out well, this is evidenced by the enthusiasm of the participants who participated in the activities during the service by paying attention to each material provided. Participants gave a very good response as evidenced by the many questions and discussions during the service, besides that the participants expressed their satisfaction in participating in this activity through the responses given when the service was over.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Purpose ­ The aim of community service are: Providing provisions and insight to teachers and students on the importance of healthy food types for students, Providing insight into the dangers of indiscriminate snacking and unhealthy food, Providing insight into safe and healthy snack behavior, Increasing awareness of school residents to jointly choose healthy snacks and provide access and facilities for healthy snacks. Methods - This community service activity is carried out in the form of counseling / training containing material both online and offline to increase understanding of the importance of choosing healthy and nutritious snacks for school children. Training/counseling is a method or effort made by certain parties to increase the understanding of teachers or students by providing certain material in a planned and programmed manner. The stages of this training/counselling adapt the conceptual model. Health counseling is an activity to provide health education that has a method by disseminating messages and instilling confidence. So that people are not only aware, know, and understand but are also able to do or follow recommendations related to the health information Result and discussions - This service activity was responded well by both teachers and students because it proved to have a significant impact. Through counseling activities related to safe snacks for children, teachers and students gain additional knowledge and information related to healthy and nutritious snacks. In addition, they can find out the dangers of careless snacking. Both teachers and students felt happy and satisfied with this activity. Increasing awareness in choosing healthy snacks and taking preventive efforts and real steps to provide healthy snacks for students at school.Conclusion - Community service activities went well, smoothly and received a good response as seen from the participation of all teachers, students and partners. Teachers and students were very enthusiastic during the service and felt happy because they had increased their knowledge about safe types of snacks. This service also succeeded in opening the insights of teachers and students to be careful with the snacks available and try to bring provisions on certain days or optimize the role of the school canteen.
