Abstract

This research is motivated by the dynamics of Indonesia’s economy in the post-COVID-19 pandemic period, which also impacted the performance of the banking sector, including Islamic banking, which plays a crucial role as an intermediary institution based on Sharia principles. The objective is to analyze the financial performance of Islamic Commercial Banks in Indonesia for the period 2021–2023 through profitability, liquidity, solvency, and activity ratios, as well as to identify differences in performance among banks. The method employed is descriptive quantitative using secondary data from annual financial statements published by the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and official bank websites, analyzed using ratio calculation, descriptive analysis, and the One-Way ANOVA test with SPSS 25. The results indicate significant variations in performance among banks, with low profitability, suboptimal asset utilization, and the need for improved operational efficiency, although liquidity and funding structure remain stable. The findings emphasize the necessity of asset optimization, improvement of intermediation strategies, and strengthening of operational management. The implications of this study point toward the standardization of financial reporting and the integration of non-financial indicators for a more comprehensive and sustainable evaluation of Islamic banking performance.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance students' learning motivation through an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in the Digital Business subject at SMK As-Salafi Balung. The problem addressed is the low level of motivation caused by conventional methods that provide minimal active and contextual engagement, leading to reduced enthusiasm and limited understanding of the relevance of learning materials to the digital work environment. The general objective is to improve the quality of the learning process to be more adaptive to digital technology development. Specific objectives include: (1) increasing students' motivation through AI-based PjBL; (2) evaluating the improvement of non-cognitive learning outcomes, particularly critical thinking and digital technology skills for real-world projects; and (3) presenting innovative strategies aligned with industry demands. This research uses a qualitative approach with Classroom Action Research (CAR) based on the Kemmis & McTaggart model, conducted in two cycles. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation to assess motivation and attitudinal changes. The study expects to produce a contextual AI-integrated PjBL model to enhance motivation and 21st-century skills.

Abstract

Schools serve as providers of services to learners and the surrounding community, where the effectiveness and quality of these services shape user satisfaction. This study investigates the influence of educator expertise and administrative efficiency on parental satisfaction at SMAIT Thariq Bin Ziyad Bekasi. A quantitative research approach with descriptive and analytical designs was employed, involving 85 respondents selected using the Slovin formula. Data evaluation was performed through t-tests, F-tests, and determination coefficients via SPSS version 25.0. Results show that educator competence partially contributes positively and significantly to parental satisfaction, with an R² of 0.151 (15.1%), while administrative efficiency similarly exerts a significant positive partial effect with an R² of 0.135 (13.5%). When considered together, both competence and administrative efficiency have a meaningful positive impact on parental satisfaction (R² = 0.416 or 41.6%), leaving 58.4% of variation explained by other external factors. These findings highlight the necessity of enhancing both staff capabilities and administrative processes to maximize parental satisfaction.
