Abstract

This study was conducted to find out the obstacles faced by students in summarizing descriptive text, and the factors that cause these obstacles. To obtain data in this study, the writer used two data collection techniques, namely questionnaire and interview. Questionnaire was used to know the students’ obstacles in learning summarizing text. Interview is intended to identify the causes of the students’ obstacles in summarizing descriptive text. The subjects of the study were six students in the eighth grade at SMPN 3 Nisam, two of whom had high academic achievement, two with medium academic achievement, and two with low academic achievement. The study's findings revealed that students had a variety of difficulties in summarizing descriptive text due to both internal and external factors. Internal challenges included poor sentence structure comprehension, in identifying key ideas of text and insufficient vocabulary mastery. External factors such as insufficient parental attention and support, limited opportunities for home-based English learning and practice, teacher teaching methods and a lack of supporting materials such as English reading materials and dictionaries were also identified as contributing to the students' obstacles in summarizing descriptive text.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk membuat dan menghasilkan sebuah media pembelajaran diorama siklus air, memberi petunjuk tentang kelayakan media serta memberikan pembelajaran dan pengetahuan melalui media pembelajaran diorama siklus air ini. Penelitian dibuat menggunakan metode R&D (Research and Development). Pada penelitian ini, kami menggunakan model ADDIE yaitu analisis, desain, development, implementasi dan evaluasi. Pada tahap analisis, kami melakukan beberapa analisis terhadap kebutuhan dan keperluan dikembangkannya media diorama siklus hidrologi dengan melalui kunjungan observasi dan wawancara ke MI Al-Hidayah. Selanjutnya pada tahap desain kami membuat rancangan sketsa sementara dalam pengembangan media diorama siklus hidrologi. Selanjutnya pada tahap development media tersebut dikembangkan sesuai dengan rancangan yang sudah di buat. Setelah itu media ini memasuki tahap Implementasi terhadap peserta didik kelas V MI Al-Hidayah dan yang terakhir adalah evluasi terhadap pembelajaran yang sudah disampaikan melalui media diorama siklus hidrologi dengan membuat soal essay.

Abstract

Meningkatkan mutu pendidikan dalam bidang akuntansi perbankan syariah adalah langkah strategis untuk memastikan bahwa lulusan siap menghadapi tantangan di dunia kerja yang semakin kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan dan menguji efektivitas bahan ajar interaktif yang lebih relevan dengan kebutuhan industri bagi mahasiswa Jurusan Akuntansi Syariah FEBI IAIN Lhokseumawe. Metode penelitian yang digunakan meliputi analisis tematik dari wawancara dengan praktisi industri dan akademisi, serta uji korelasi dan regresi untuk mengukur hubungan antara penggunaan bahan ajar interaktif dan kepuasan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bahan ajar interaktif secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman dan kepuasan mahasiswa, dengan 75% responden mendukung penggunaan teknologi interaktif dan 70% menginginkan lebih banyak kolaborasi dengan praktisi industri. Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa pengembangan bahan ajar yang sinergis dengan kebutuhan industri dan penggunaan teknologi dalam pengajaran dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan secara keseluruhan, mempersiapkan mahasiswa dengan keterampilan yang relevan, dan memperkuat daya saing lulusan di pasar kerja global. Dengan demikian, langkah-langkah ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan mutu pendidikan akuntansi perbankan syariah di Indonesia

Abstract

Kendala-kendala pembelajaran Bahasa Arab di Jurusan KPI secara garis besar ada dua, pertama kendala-kendala eksternal dan kedua kendala-kendala intenetnal. Kendala eksternal ialah kendala-kendala yang datang dari luar diri mahasiswa atau diluar diri dosen pengajar, sedangkan kendala internal ialah kendala-kendala yang muncul dari dalam diri mahasiswa itu sendiri. Kendala eksternal ialah kurangnya buku atau bahan ajar bahasa Arab sederhana kurangnya faktor penunjang dan fasilitas, dan tidak ada wadah kusus sebagai tempat penggodokan bahasa bagi mahasiswa juga kurangnya dukungan dari kalangan dosen KPI itu sendiri. Sedangkan kendala internal ialah kondisi Psikologis mahasiswa KPI yang merasa terbebani dengan mata kuliah bahasa asing termasuk bahasa arab. Kurangnya minat dair dalam diri mahasiswa itu sendiri dan sulitnya memahami materi ajar yang berbahasa arab karena kurang bermotivasi untuk secara sungguh-sungguh.

Abstract

Purpose: This study is to examine how madrasah motivation in marketing education services, this research is expected to provide an in-depth analysis of how madrasah innovation in marketing education services. Method: This research uses a qualitative approach of the mini research type which is carried out such as observation of Madrasah or interviewing relevant parties such as principals and other civitas. Through this mini research study obtained. Results: Madrasah innovation towards marketing educational services can be done by building motivation among educational personnel such as principals, vice principals, administrators and even public relations are involved in it and also students. When this all happens, madrasah innovation towards marketing educational services can run better. Marketing of educational services will progress well when the services provided can satisfy consumers. Implication: Innovation in marketing is able to improve the quality of education, marketing that is brought closer to modern marketing, namely using technology, will further create good madrasah services and can convince the public of the quality of education.

Abstract

Reading is the way in developing students’ comprehension of the written texts. The objective of reading is to know the main idea of reading to obtain and get the information involve content and the meaning from the text. In learning reading comprehension, the students faced many obstacles in comprehending the text. Cause of they have lack vocabulary and they do not know the meaning from the text. While they must learn various of text in learning reading. One of the texts that they must learn is explanatory text. Explanatory text explains about social, culture, scientific and other phenomena how and why something happen. It makes students’ bore in learning the reading, they assume that reading is difficult for them and they do not interest in learning reading comprehension. Some factors can influence students’ difficulties in learning reading comprehension like; the students are difficult to grasp the meaning from the text and they cannot different the sound of word that written and read. Then, they find the strange words when they read a text.
