Abstract

Based on the setting for determining criminal policies that are in accordance with the values of people's lives, the setting for determining criminal policies is contained in the Criminal Code as general provisions and in the special criminal provisions of Law No. 35 of 2009 as a special crime that regulates narcotics. Based on this, the problem that will be discussed is how the monodualistic principle in eradicating criminal acts of narcotics abuse committed by children is contrary to the law related to Law No. 35 of 2009 and Law No. 11 of 2012. This research is normative juridical research, namely research conducted by examining library materials or secondary data. In terms of implementing the diversion, there are several things that make it impossible. Abstract

Jppi (Jurnal Penelitian Pendidikan Indonesia), 9(4), 205-214.Based on the author's request to change the affiliation from Universitas Lancang Kuning to Universitas Simalungun, made on September 6, 2024, this is not permissible as the journal has already been published for one year, and the author is only now requesting the change. The norm is to list the institution where the work was conducted and to indicate the new corresponding address or email in a footnote (or if there is already a footnote, the new affiliation/contact should immediately follow). It appears that minimal work (if any) was conducted at the new institution, so the affiliation should reflect where the work was originally done. Politically, the new institution may want to claim the new publication, and the author might want to assist with this. However, since the work was completed at the prior institution on their salary, the resulting article should maintain that affiliation, with a note providing the author’s new address.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the distribution of disaster stimulant funds in Palu City. This study used a quantitative approach with descriptive statistics analysis. It is expected that the results of the study can be operationalized or applied at various levels of government, especially in disaster management. The population of this study was all stakeholders in disaster management in Palu City including the Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency, the Social Service, the Public Works Office, the Sub-District Office, the Village Office, and the Acceleration of Regional Development Executive Monitoring Team (TP4D). This study involved a total of 228 respondents. The determination of the sample used a census technique meaning that the entire population was used as samples. The results of this study showed that the distribution of disaster stimulant funds in Palu City was not effective as the fund was only enjoyed by certain groups and had not solved community problems. This means that there are many complaints from the affected community as they have not been registered as a beneficiary of stimulant funds. This research contributes to the development of public policies related to the policy of distributing stimulant funds for victims of natural disasters consisting of earthquakes, tsunamis, and liquefaction, so policy formulation needs to be designed comprehensively so that it becomes a recommendation for the future because policies related to earthquake, tsunami, and liquefaction disasters have not previously occurred anywhere in the world so that the findings of this study become recommendations for the government in handling increasingly complex natural disasters.

Abstract

Procurement of events or what is commonly referred to as events is something that is very common at this time. Events have various purposes and also have various procurement scales. Some events are known to fail in their implementation and even cause riots. This can happen due to a lack of attention to event management. Event management will be easier to do by classifying events. The classification of events that are well known in the event business world are MICE events and non-MICE events. MICE events include meetings, incentive trips, conferences and exhibitions. Non-MICE events consist of festivals, sports tourism, celebrations and parties. Broadly speaking, event management consists of 5 stages, including: research, design, planning, coordination, and evaluation. However, each event characteristic has a different treatment of these 5 things. The purpose of this study is to examine the concept of events and efforts to avoid event failures due to a lack of understanding of events. The study used a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach in which a conceptual study was carried out regarding each event to find an appropriate formulation of the event concept for each class. This research results that the failure of an event can have a serious impact such as the occurrence of riots where one of them occurred in Indonesia, event failures can also raise their own fear of customer disappointment. Both MICE events and non-MICE events must pay attention to their characteristics and important points such as location, room, event concept, event protocol, participants, event scale and so on. It can be concluded that knowing the characteristics of an event can make it easier to develop event concepts and carry out event management both at the pre-event, during the event, and after the event.
