Queuing systems can occur in various places and times, one of which is checking in aircraft at Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Cengkareng. Comparative analysis of the time efficiency of the queuing system needs to be done to help make decisions on the implementation of the check in system to improve service performance in order to achieve customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze the comparison of queue time efficiency between self-check in and conventional check using the queuing method. The population in this study are prospective passengers who will check-in at Terminal 3 Soekarno - Hatta Airport, the sample used is passengers who come and queue at the ticket check-in counter of Soekarno - Hatta Airport Tangerang to take boarding passes from February 2022. Sampling method using purposive sampling. The data collection method used primary data and secondary data. The data analysis method uses the Queuing System Performance analysis with the Multiple Line Queuing Model (M/M/S). The results of the research are expected to help solve problems, assist decision making and determine policies related to long queues at check-in activities at airports.

The sample was taken using a non-probability sampling technique, the sampling method used purposive sampling, and the sample size was determined using the quota sampling method. Furthermore, the analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and testing by LISREL. 8.8. based on the research results, there is a positive effect of Rebranding on customer loyalty through the brand image on Gojek. This is indicated by each t-value (t-values) which is 11.01 (rebranding to brand image), 5.20 (brand image to customer loyalty), 2.68 (rebranding to customer loyalty)> 1.96 (???? = 5%). As well as the test results of the influence of the intervening variable through the Sobel test, the value of t > 1.96 (???? = 5%) is 4.76. Based on these results, it can be said that brand image is a variable that has a positive influence or has a significant relationship.

Abstract

Employee performance is a study that has received wide attention. Performance-forming factors are found with various variations that continue to grow. In the setting of the Covid-19 pandemic, employee performance is examined as part of how workers deal with different work conditions. This paper aimed to investigate the effect of self-efficacy and self-esteem on employee performance by using job satisfaction as an intervening variable.  This study uses a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Model (SEM) analysis techniques to test the model and provide an evaluation of prior related research. AMOS is used as data processing software. Data were collected from 160 Generation X employees of PT. PLN Persero DIY and Central Java Distribution Area. The results were then analyzed using the SEM technique. As hypothesized, self-esteem and self-efficacy proved to, directly and indirectly, affect the employees' job satisfaction and work performance. This study provides scientific facts that employee performance models can be built on a cause-and-effect relationship with the variables of self-efficacy, self-esteem, and job satisfaction. The findings of this study also have a managerial impact on the management of employees within the State-Owned Enterprises. Originality – The COVID-19 outbreak has changed for generation X. However, how the internal factors affect the work performance in Generation X has not been well understood. Thus, the research aimed to explore those interactions.

Abstract

Safety citizenship behavior (SCB) of the ship crew is essential to maritime safety. Therefore, using safety motivation as a mediating mechanism, this research attempts to understand and quantify the impact of safety leadership, social capital, and safety awareness on ship crew SCB. The study employs a causal design and survey methods in a quantitative manner. 120 crew members of passenger ships that were docked at Tanjung Priok Port in Jakarta made up the sample. A Likert scale questionnaire was utilized as the research tool for safety leadership, social capital, safety awareness, safety motivation, and SCB. Google Forms-formatted questionnaires were sent out by email and WhatsApp. Partial least squares (PLS)-based structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis was used to analyze the data. The study's findings indicate that safety leadership, social capital, safety awareness, and safety motivation all have a significant impact on SCB; additionally, safety leadership, social capital, and safety awareness all have a significant impact on safety motivation, which in turn has a significant impact on SCB through safety motivation. These results validate the novelty of the safety leadership, social capital, and safety awareness mediation model's effect on the SCB of passenger ship crew through safety motivation.
