Abstract

A small business is a business that is included in the small industrial sector, whether carried out by individuals or households by utilizing goods to be processed to become goods that are more useful and valuable. Based on the analysis of the situation and problems that occurred in the cake mold craftsmen business group in Candi Village, Sidoarjo Regency, the framework for solving the problem is to use a training and mentoring approach method. Therefore, training related to digital marketing for a group of cookie cutter craftsmen in Candi Village, Sidoarjo Regency. The conclusion of this activity is that all members of the cake mold craftsmen business group in Candi Village, Sidoarjo Regency are of productive age, 87% of respondents can understand online marketing materials, only 13% or 4 respondents cannot understand online marketing materials, and 93% of respondents have diversify pastry mold products.

Abstract

The average Indonesian people throw food waste around 300 Kg every year. The large amount of food waste is a problem that must be resolved immediately. Utilizing organic waste as a feed medium for BSF (Black Soldier Fly) maggots is one way of processing and utilizing organic waste. With the help of EM-4 in the fermentation process which creates a distinctive aroma to attract the attention of BSF flies so that they hatch the eggs in the reactor provided. BSF maggot is used as an alternative feed for catfish. In addition, the BSF maggot helps the degradation process of organic waste. Thus, the BSF maggot cultivation training was carried out in the Holistic Development and Village Empowerment Program by utilizing organic waste as a feed medium in Candipari Village. The method of implementation is carried out by lecturing/ socializing and training. High community enthusiasm and increased community knowledge up to 100% in cultivating BSF maggots are benchmarks for the success of this training. Thus, the people of Candipari Village have the potential to become a guided village in BSF maggot cultivation.

Abstract

Tulangan Village is one of the villages located in Tulangan District, Sidoarjo Regency, East Java. The total population in Tulangan Village is 4818 people. So it is estimated that the average population of Tulangan Village produces more than 1,445.4 kg of waste / day. Currently, the TPST of Tulangan Village serves waste management for all residents of Tulangan Village. Until now, organic waste processing at TPST is carried out by composting. Meanwhile, leachate processing is only carried out by simple storage. To overcome this problem, the activities carried out are training in organic waste and leachate processing. Based on the results of the questionnaire, it was found that seven residents understood organic waste processing and seven people understood leachate processing.

Abstract

Mitra merupakan pengrajin lampu hias yang mempunyai keahlian dalam bidang seni. Beragam produk lampu hias yang berbahan baku kayu dan triplek telah banyak dihasilkan. Ketekunan dan kegigihan Bapak Pius Budi Hermanto dalam membuat lampu hias ini yang membuat tim menjadikan beliau sebagai mitra dalam kegiatan PKM. Beberapa aspek permasalahan yang mendapatkan prioritas untuk mitra adalah tempat produksi menyatu dengan tempat tinggalnya, peralatan yang dimiliki berupa scroll show, Bor listrik, gergaji manual dan gerenda masih bersifat manual sehingga waktu pengerjaannya cukup lama. Pemasaranannya pun masih menggunakan sistem by order berdasarkan pesanan konsumen. Proses desain dalam pembuatan motif lampu hias dilakukan secara manual. Sedangkan bahan untuk aroma terapi menggunakan produk pabrik yang ada disekitar tanggulangin. Untuk memecahkan permasalahan tersebut, tim pengusul menawarkan metode pendekatan untuk mendapatkan solusi agar mitra mendapatkan manfaat yang maksimal. Metode pendekatan yang ditawarkan adalah pelatihan dan workshop bagi peningkatan kemampuan dan kualitas SDM dalam bidang desain motif, manajemen inventarisasi sarana dan prasarana serta pembuatan web/blog dan pemasaraan online, perbaikan/rekayasa alat produksi dan pengadaan sarana prasarana. Pendampingan dilakukan untuk melakukan evaluasi terhadap kegiatan ini. Waktu produksi dalam pemenuhan pesanan konsumen, efektifitas dalam melakukan desain motif serta pemasaran yang lebih luas merupakan target luaran yang diharapkan. Pendekatan yang dilakukan tim inijuga diharapkan dapat meningkatkan omzet dan kemandirian Mitra sehingga bisa bersaing dalam bidang sejenis.

Abstract

Wiyung is a district in Surabaya, East Java, Indonesia. A long time ago, this district used to be an agricultural area. However, currently some of the area used to agricultural land has been used for the construction of residential and commercial activity areas. One of the areas in the wiyung district is RT.05 RW.01 where this area is known as quite densely population. Based on the situation analysis, in the midst of crowded housing in narrow alleys at RT.05 RW.01 Wiyung, many beluntas plants (Pluchea indica) were found growing wild in people's yards. In fact, this beluntas plant has the potential to be used as various food products which can indirectly improve the economic level of the surrounding community. Therefore, a community service program is needed to provide training on how to use the beluntas plants into processed food products, especially beluntas chips and beluntas nuggets, along with how to package and its market. The method used in this community service includes a participatory approach with survey activities and training both theoretical and practical. At the end of this community service activity, it was seen that the participants were able to process beluntas leaves into chips and nuggets along with their packaging and labeling.

Abstract

The increase in the transportation sector is one of the causes of the current high air pollution, one of which is in Village Becirongengor, Sidoarjo Regency. To overcome air pollution, it can be done by increasing Green Open Space (RTH), besides that it can increase water catchment areas. This activity is carried out by carrying out activities in the form of providing seeds for several types of plants, namely Mahogany, Sengon, Rambutan, Longan, and Glodokan pole with 50-100 seeds each and assisting the planting process involving Wonoayu District Village staff and the local community, so that it is expected to increase green open space. in the target village.

Abstract

Alas Prambon Kecamatan Prambon Kabupaten Sidoarjo, yang dulunya merupakan tempat out bound masyarakat sekitar, di masa Pandemi Covid-19 beralih fungsi menjadi tempat menjual makanan/minuman tempo dulu yang dikenal dengan nama “Papringan”, kegiatan ini diadakan setiap hari minggu. Di lokasi tersebut, terdapat perkebunan jambu kristal dengan hasil panen selama 2-3 hari mencapai 1/2 kwintal, dengan kualitas grade A dan grade B. Kendala yang dihadapi untuk grade B, adalah hampir 30% jambu kristal yang dipanen direject oleh pembeli karena tidak memenuhi standart, sehingga kalau dibiarkan akan menjadi busuk. Oleh karena itu diperlukan diversifikasi dan inovasi pengolahan jambu biji yang mempunyai kualitas tinggi, daya simpan yang lebih lama dan menarik selera konsumen. Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah melakukan pelatihan penerapan teknologi tepat guna diversifikasi dan inovasi olahan jambu kristal menjadi burger jambu, sosis jambu dan sari jambu rasa jahe. Materi pelatihan ini juga dilengkapi teknologi pengemasan minuman sehingga dihasilkan produk olahan yang mempunyai kualitas tinggi, aman dikonsumsi dan menarik selera konsumen. Kegiatan yang telah dilakukan meliputi: 1). pelatihan teknologi tepat guna diversifikasi pengolahan jambu kristal menjadi burger jambu,sosis jambu dan sari jambu rasa jahe ; 2). Pemberian peralatan bantuan (alat pencetak burger, pencetak sosis, alat pengemas minuman); 3). pelatihan teknik pengemasan minuman. Hasil dari kegiatan ini antara lain: 1). meningkatkan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan pedagang papringan untuk diversifikasi produk olahan jambu biji kristal; 2). Bantuan peralatan yang telah diberikan telah memacu semangat pedagang Papringan untuk meningkatkan inovasi produk dagangan yang dijual dengan kemasan yang menarik dan memenuhi standart BPOM sehingga dapat meningkatkan daya tarik konsumen dan income pedagang.

Abstract

SOMANO MSMEs are MSMEs (Micro, Small and) Medium Enterprises) engaged in food and beverages made from mangrove fruit (Sonneratia caseolaris). SOMANO MSMEs are very potential because they are located close to the location of Mangrove Ecotourism Surabaya. However, the covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the declining number of Mangrove ecotourism tourists, which also led to a decrease in sales of SOMANO MSMEs. During this time MSMEs SOMANO is more focused on making liquid mangrove processed in the form of mangrove syrup. To increase sales during the covid-19 pandemic, it is necessary to diversify products, especially healthy functional products that can generally improve health. Mangrove flour has a high enough dietary fiber component that can improve digestive health which indirectly can also increase the body's overall immunity. Mangrove flour-subtitling dry noodle products were chosen as diversification of SOMANO MSME products, because previously these MSMEs did not have the type of products in the form of dry noodles. In addition, dry noodles are a type of food that is quite popular by the people of Indonesia so that it is expected to boost the sales of SOMANO MSMEs during the Covid-19 Pandemic. Therefore, it is considered necessary to carry out PIHAT community service program (Grant application of research results for the community) based on innovation of mangrove flour processed products as product diversification. The purpose of PIHAT community service activities is: increasing the knowledge and skills of SOMANO MSMEs, especially their owners and employees in processing mangrove flour into dry noodle processed products and introducing good ways of packaging and marketing products so as to increase product sales. The methods that will be used are extension and training on processing dried noodles substituted mangrove flour and packaging and marketing. At the end of the training activity, donated tools in the form of noodle makers and food cabinet dryers that are expected to help MSME owners in producing mangrove noodles.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic in Indonesia has occurred since March 2020 until now which has had an impact on aspects of life such as health, economy, education and so on, so it is necessary to have a strategy for implementing community service involving lecturers and students of Nahdlatul Ulama University Sidoarjo with community leaders in the Hamlet. Ngerong, Gempol District, Pasuruan Regency. From the results of these discussions, several programs were made, namely, providing counseling and socialization about the dangers of covid-19, modes of transmission and methods of prevention, implementation of counseling and socialization carried out in limited numbers, door to door and posting posters on how to prevent the virus and providing information about vaccine schedules in the surrounding area and Pasuruan, conduct training (training) on ​​digital marketing (online sales) and assistance in the use of features on social media for MSMEs, provide tutoring and study face-to-face with very limited numbers and carry out health protocols properly .
