Abstract

This study aims to identify and fill the existing literature gap regarding the information that only social media can influence the political participation of generation Z, but in reality, billboards can be an effective way to become an integrative and effective communication strategy in reaching generation Z. Billboards are one of the tools to explain the activities of politicians to the public. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The data collection technique itself is carried out by distributing questionnaires through social media and non-random sampling techniques because there are certain criteria to be achieved in this study, namely generation Z. The results of this study indicate that there is an influence of billboards on the political participation of generation Z in addition to increasing political awareness, especially in the candidate introduction stage. Social media with generation Z is something that cannot be separated so that when there is an interesting billboard, generation Z will upload it to X or Instagram so that this can be more highlighted billboards to raise political awareness. But of course there are weaknesses and strengths, namely the limited public space aspect but can increase popularity.

Abstract

This study investigates how religious discourse is employed to reproduce injustices against marginalized workers within contemporary workplace settings. Aimed at identifying discursive forms, analyzing the factors that facilitate the reproduction of injustice, and exploring its consequences, the study adopts a literature-review approach that traces news coverage, public opinion, and social-media discourse as primary data sources. The findings reveal three principal forms through which injustice is reproduced: (1) the ideologization of moral values that reframes structural problems as personal failings; (2) the sacralization of hierarchical structures that grants moral legitimacy to managerial authority; and (3) the instrumentalization of religious symbols and rituals as mechanisms of social control. Factors reinforcing these processes include conservative religious interpretations, entrenched structural power relations, the psychological internalization of religious values, and cultural norms promoting compliance. The implications comprise an erosion of workers’ critical consciousness, the reinforcement of socio-economic inequality, increased psychological and spiritual burdens, and a weakening of labor solidarity. The study concludes that religious discourse can operate as a tool for conserving the status quo rather than as a catalyst for social justice.

Abstract

This study maps the resilience of communities living around coal mining areas in Indonesia through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach. Data were collected from empirical articles in Indonesian and English published between 2021 and 2026, identified using Publish or Perish, and screened using PICOC and PRISMA, resulting in 18 full-text articles eligible for analysis. The synthesis shows that community resilience is formed across four main dimensions: economic resilience, socio-community resilience, institutional resilience, and environmental resilience. The most dominant dimension is economic resilience, particularly in the form of livelihood diversification, strengthening household income, and the search for alternative sources of livelihood beyond the mining sector. Socio-community and institutional resilience play important roles in strengthening adaptive capacity through social capital, citizen participation, governance, and CSR programs, while environmental resilience remains a major challenge because post-mining ecological recovery has not yet been fully optimized.
