Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi harga rumah dikota Batam dengan menggunakan variabel-variabel indepen yaitu Kualitas fisik rumah, Konsep desain, Konsep marketing, Akses lokasi, Keunikan lokasi dan Polusi kebisingan dengan variabel dependennya yaitu harga rumah. Objek penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitain ini yaitu Kepala Keluarga di Kota Batam pemilik rumah tinggal. Metode sampling yang digunakan adalah Snowball sampling method yaitu menyebarkan kuisioner dari teman keteman di dua belas Kecamatan di Kota Batam. Jumlah data responden yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah sebanyak 384. Dengan menggunakan analisis statistik SPSS versi 22. Penemuan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pada uji hipotesis faktor Kualitas fisik rumah, Konsep desain, Konsep marketing, Akses lokasi, Keunikan lokasi dan Polusi kebisingan berpengaruh postif signifikan terhadap harga rumah di Kota Batam.

Abstract

The study aims to look at how much influence products, prices, promotions, and venues have on consumer purchasing decisions on Hypermart Nagoya Hill Batam. This research was conducted with a survey approach. To prove the influence of the marketing mix on the consumer purchase decision of Hypermart Nagoya Hill Batam, the authors collected data by way of the dissemination of questionnaires, namely as many as 100 respondents as samples taken from all Consumers of Hypermart Nagoya Hill Batam. Data collected through questionnaires is processed using spss program applications.Based on the results of the study showed that the results of the F Test (Simultaneous) showed that the variables of the product, price, promotion, and place together had a positive and significant effect on consumer purchasing decisions at Hypermart Nagoya Hill Batam. The results of partial regression analysis (T Test) show that product variables have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions, price variables do not have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions; that promotional variables have a positive and significant influence on purchasing decisions; and place variables have a positive and significant influence on the purchasing decisions of consumers shopping at Hypermart Nagoya Hill Batam

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of service quality, price and promotion on customer loyalty at PT Batam Trans. The sample of this research is the customers of PT Batam Trans, totaling 111 people. Data collection techniques in this research are literature study, observation, and questionnaires, while the data analysis techniques used are classical assumption test, multiple linear regression, T test, F test, and coefficient of determination. The results showed that there was no positive and significant effect between the variables of service quality and customer loyalty, as evidenced by tcount 0.321<ttable 1.980 with a significance level of 0.113>0.05, there was no positive and significant effect between the price and customer loyalty variables. with tcount 0.404 < ttable 1.980 with a significance level of 0.035<0.05. There is a positive and significant effect between promotions and customer loyalty, as evidenced by tcount t11.054>ttable 1.980 with a significance level of 0.032<0.05. There is a significant effect between service quality, price, promotion on customer loyalty, as evidenced by Fcount 138,609>2.99 with a significance of 0.000<0.05. Furthermore, the value of Adjusted R Square obtained is 0.795, indicating about 79.50% of the influence of service quality, price and promotion on customer loyalty

Abstract

The development of the SME (small and medium enterprise) business, especially the coffee shop business sector in the city of Batam has many competitors. With so many competitors, entrepreneurs must determine and have a marketing strategy to increase the value of a product that is sold, promoted to win the competition. The SWOT analysis method (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, Threat) is a systematic identification of various factors to formulate corporate strategy. This analysis is based on logic that can maximize strengths and opportunities, but simultaneously can minimize weaknesses and threats. The purpose of this research is to find out internal factors which include strengths and weaknesses as well as external factors that must be faced in the form of opportunities and threats, so as to be able to determine the best strategy to be implemented at the LGSM Tiban Batam coffee shop. In this study, the LGSM coffee shop, using the SWOT analysis method which describes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, each factor shows the position of the LGSM coffee shop has its advantages, namely the availability of complete facilities. The downside is the availability of parking spaces. Opportunities include food and beverage promotions. Then the threat is that there is another coffee shop that is quite close to the LGSM coffee shop

Abstract

The review of this research is the influence of motivation, discipline and working environment toward performance of the employee. Object of research is the employee of PT Bisa Inti Sarana. The purpose of the research is to determine if the motivation, discipline and working environment affect the employee’s working performance.60 employees of PT Bisa Inti Sarana have been taken as the sample of this research, using Saturation Sampling Technique based on the Non-probability Sampling. Data collection is done by distributing questionnaires. The result of the research shows that motivation and work environment partially have positive and significant effect to employee's performance, but discipline has influence no significant effect, while motivation, discipline and work environment simultaneously affect employee performance.From the result of the regression analysis, it is obtained the value of coefficient of determination (R2) which is 0,880, which means that 88% of the performance of the employee is affected by motivation, discipline and environment variables. As for the rest of 12% is affected by the other variables that is not examined in this research.

Abstract

The riset is made under the title “The Influence of Work Motivation and Compensation on Employee Performance at PT Connect Electrical Engineering in Batam City.” The purpose of this research is to find out how much the influence of work motivation and compensation on employee performance at PT Connect Electrical Engineering in Batam City. Data collection techniques used in this study in the form of research by distributing questionnaires and literature studies. Research method using quantitative research technique. The number of sample in this research is 66 respondents. The result showed that the regression equation formed was Y =-3,438 + 0,496X1 + 0,767X2. The results of this study indicate that alone, work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and compensation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. While together, work motivation and compensation have positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT Connect Electrical Engineering in Batam City. This decision is based on a significance level of F value of 0.000 smaller than a = 0.05.

Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the influence of socialization, education, service, and awareness level of Credit Union Tunas Harapan Batam members. This study uses a quantitative methodology to investigate correlations. Primary data was obtained by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents (members) at Credit Union Tunas Harapan Batam and will be tested with validity, reliability test, multiple regression analysis, hypothesis test and determinant coefficient test with SPSS version 22.The results showed that education is not so influential on the level of awareness, while, Socialization and service have a positive and significant impact on the level of awareness in understanding Credit Union Tunas Harapan Batam. The result of determination coefficient test shows that R Square = 0.901 and Adjusted R square = 0.894, it means that awareness level in understanding Credit union of 67,75% can explain that socialization and service have the biggest and significant influence on awareness level (Sig = 0,052)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of motivation, workload, and work environment on teacher performance at SD Yos Sudarso Batam Center. This research method uses quantitative research techniques. The sample method in this study used saturated sampling, so the number of samples used was 49 respondents. The data collection technique used in this research is literature study and distributing questionnaires. The results of the study with a significance level of 5% indicate that: (1) Motivation variable has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, this can be seen from the significance value of 0.581 > 0.05 and the tcount of 2.555 > ttable 1.677. (2) Workload variable has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, this can be seen from the significance value of 0.144 > 0.05 and the value of tcount 2.486 > ttable 1.677. (3) The work environment variable has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, this can be seen from the significance value of 0.903 > 0.05 and the value of tcount 2,223 > ttable 1,677. (4) Motivation, Workload and Work Environment Variables togethera positive and significant effect on Teacher Performance, this can be seen from the value of Fcount 3.348 > Ftable 2.790 with significance value 0.127.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of motivation, training and rewards on employee performance. The population of this study is employees, amounting to 150 people. A sample of 109 employees uses the Slovin formula in sampling. The analysis technique used is t-test and F-test. The results of this study prove that: The t-value of motivation is 3.057 with a significant level of 0.011 (alpha <0.05). Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected or motivation partially affects employee performance. The calculated t value for training is 5.457 with a significant level of 0.000 (alpha <0.05). Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected or training partially affects employee performance. The t value for the award is 2.103 with a significant level of 0.038 (alpha <0.05). Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected or work training partially affects employee performance. Based on the beta value, it is known that (X1, X2, X3) which has the most dominant effect on employee performance is training (X2) with a beta value of 0.492 or 49.2%. From the F test, the independent variables X1, X2, and X3 were counted as 253.535 with a significant level of 0.000. This significant value is smaller than alpha 0.05 which indicates that Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected which means that motivation (X1), training (X2), and appreciation (X3) simultaneously or jointly have a positive and significant influence on employee performance (Y).

Abstract

Menjamurnya perguruan tinggi swasta di kota Batam menantang masing-masing kampus untuk berjuang demi mendapatkan jumlah mahasiswa. Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Ekonomi Bentara Persada (STIE BP) adalah salah satu perguruan tinggi yang berada di kota Batam. Realitas menunjukan bahwa kampus ini tergolong sudah lama berada di kota Batam, tapi boleh dikatakan kurang berkembang. Atas dasar itu, maka penulis membuat sebuah terobosan baru dibidang marketing. Ada pun jenis pemasaran yang ditawarkan adalah metode SOSTAC. Untuk mendapatkan datanya, penulis memakai metode penelitian qualitatif. Hasil yang dicapai dari penelitian SOSTAC dapat disimpulkan bahwa situasi yang penuh dengan kekuatan, kelemahan, ancaman dan peluang yang harus terus digarap secara serius. Secara obyektif, kampus STIE BP merupakan sebuah perguruan tinggi yang bernaung di bawah Yayasan Katolik, maka dengan strategi yang bagus tujuan mudah untuk diraih.
