Abstract

Contemporary learning developments in the 21st century demand adaptations in teaching methods, where project-based assignments foster creativity, collaboration, and real-world problem-solving among prospective biology teachers. Initial observations indicated students lack innovation without lecturer guidance, necessitating response analysis to evaluate effectiveness. This study adopted a descriptive quantitative approach, collecting data through a Likert-scale questionnaire (strongly disagree, disagree, moderately agree, agree, strongly agree) covering 8 aspects: topic understanding, creativity and innovation, collaboration, time management, product quality, project presentation, reflection/process, and benefits. It involved 84 student respondents, with data processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 21.Analysis results showed student responses to the project-based assignment model in contemporary learning lectures fell into the "very good" category, averaging 82.20%. The highest response was on the indicator of real benefits from projects in developing knowledge, skills, and general learning experiences (85.00%). The lowest was on efficient project completion time management (79.76%). These findings demonstrate the model's high effectiveness for current biology education.

Abstract

Oko mama is a cultural symbol of the Atoin Meto community that traditionally functions as a medium of respect, a means of opening communication, and a tool for building social relationships. In the context of political contestation, Oko mama has undergone a shift in meaning when used by legislative candidates as a political communication strategy accompanied by the giving of money. This study aims to analyze the perspectives of the Baumata Timur Village community on the practice of money politics wrapped in Oko mama culture in the 2024 legislative elections. This study uses a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation with purposively selected informants, including traditional leaders, community leaders, voters, young people, women, and local elites. The results show that community perspectives are shaped by educational background, economic conditions, cultural understanding, the influence of local elites, and previous political experiences. The findings confirm that money politics in Baumata Timur Village not only occurs as an electoral violation but also operates within a cultural space that provides social legitimacy.

Abstract

Bullying is a social issue that has significant impacts on adolescents’ psychological well-being and occurs not only in school environments but also within communities. This phenomenon is also observed in Kampung Cimanggis, where bullying behaviors are often perceived as a normal part of daily interactions. This study aims to examine the phenomenon of bullying, identify its contributing factors, and analyze the role of parenting styles in its prevention and intervention. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach using in-depth interviews with adolescents involved as both perpetrators and victims of bullying, as well as their parents. The findings indicate that bullying is influenced by social environmental factors, differences in social status, and inappropriate parenting practices, particularly authoritarian parenting and limited family communication. The forms of bullying identified include verbal, physical, and cyberbullying, which result in decreased self-confidence, increased anxiety, and difficulties in social relationships. Furthermore, the study reveals that democratic parenting plays a crucial role in preventing and addressing bullying through open communication, emotional support, and the development of empathy among adolescents. Therefore, a family-based approach can be considered an effective strategy in creating a safe and supportive environment for adolescents’ psychological well-being

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Lakamola Anan Sio Program and its impact on community economic empowerment in Tualima Village, Rote Ndao Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques including interviews, observation, and documentation. The results show that the program has a positive impact on increasing community income, diversifying livelihoods, and strengthening farmer groups. However, several challenges remain, such as limited access to capital, lack of skills training, and suboptimal product marketing. Therefore, stronger coordination between government and community is needed to ensure sustainability.

Abstract

This research is about the structure and diversity of mangrove vegetation species on the Coconut Beach Coast, Mata Air Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency, carried out with the aim of understanding the structure and diversity of mangrove vegetation species on the Coconut Beach Coast, Mata Air Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency. This research was conducted on the Coconut Beach Coast, Mata Air Village, Central Kupang District, Kupang Regency in August 2025. The method used in this study is the line transect method by using 7 observation transects, each transect consisting of 3 plots. The parameters of this study are to understand the structure of mangrove vegetation and the diversity of mangrove species on the Coconut Beach Coast. Based on the results of the research conducted on the structure and diversity of mangrove vegetation on the Coconut Beach Coast, 7 types of mangroves were found, namely Avicennia marina, Sonneratia alba, Rhizophora apiculata, Rhizophora stylosa, Rhizophora mucronata, Ceriops tagal, and Excoecaria agallocha. The species with the highest INP value is Avicennia Marina at 80.90%, and the diversity value of mangrove vegetation species at Kelapa Tinggi Beach is considered moderate with an H’ value of 1.81.

Abstract

This study aims to describe and analyze the implementation of a quality assurance system in training institutions and nonformal education as an effort to improve the quality of educational services and professional performance. The quality assurance system is viewed as a strategic mechanism that ensures all training processes, from planning and implementation to evaluation, are carried out in accordance with established standards. This research employed a qualitative approach using observation and interviews with managers of training institutions that implement an international quality management standard, namely ISO 21001:2018. The findings indicate that the implementation of a quality assurance system supported by leadership commitment, active involvement of all organizational members, and a sustainable quality culture contributes significantly to improving institutional effectiveness, human resource professionalism, and trainee satisfaction. Therefore, quality assurance systems function not only as control tools but also as instruments for continuous improvement in training institutions and nonformal education

Abstract

Population administration services are an important part of public services that demand effectiveness and quality of service. In line with the development of information technology, the Population and Civil Registration Department of Tabalong Regency has implemented an innovative service called the Independent Civil Registration Counter (ADM). However, its implementation still faces obstacles such as a lack of public awareness and limited assistance from officers during peak hours. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of population administration services through ADM. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that population administration services through ADM are quite effective, reviewed from the variable of adaptability, communication indicators are less effective because there is still no socialization, especially and many people are still unfamiliar with services using ADM, the cooperation indicator is effective. The variables of work performance, skills, discipline, and personality indicators are effective, while the cooperation indicator is considered quite effective. Finally, the variables of job satisfaction, job content indicators, supervision, organization and management, opportunities for advancement, and salary and finance are considered effective.  The influencing factors include: inhibiting factors, minimal outreach, and suboptimal service delivery by officers during peak hours. To improve the satisfaction and quality of public services, it is recommended that the Population and Civil Registration Service of Tabalong Regency should improve the communication aspects related to the existence of ADM in various media, both online and offline, and the public should be proactive in utilizing services with ADM in order to improve the quality of communication and effective services

Abstract

Developing speaking skills is a skill that must be mastered by non-English students. The researcher analyzed to what extend the implication of the students of S1 Agrotechnology of Universitas Tidar in developing the speaking materials in the dialogue format and its impact to their speaking perform. The subject of this research consists of 25 students who were divided into 12 dialogue groups in English class. The data was taken on 21 April 2026 when the subject were performing their middle-term test by applying an observation method. The first finding is that the students had prepared their material schema very well after getting the information about the midterm test schema. The second finding is the strengths, including increasing the multi-topic speaking material skill, and training the skill to work in a team. The next is giving mental readiness to students and their simulation. The negative impacts were also found, including the tendency to reminding their material preparation, some students forget some material, which makes them confused, needing a longer time for the preparation. The next finding is that the spontaneous material development gives an impact of giving stimulus of short thinking conditions to the student and giving nervousness to the students. The last finding is that the knowledge background of the students influences them perform to develop the speaking materials.

Abstract

This study aims to comprehensively examine the concept of organizational culture through a theoretical and empirical literature analysis of previous studies. Organizational culture is an important factor influencing individual behavior, employee performance, and overall organizational effectiveness. This study employed a literature review method using a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach combined with thematic analysis to identify key patterns and themes from previous studies. Data collection was conducted through a systematic search of academic databases using specific inclusion criteria, resulting in 30 relevant articles for analysis. The findings indicate that organizational culture has a significant influence on employee performance, job satisfaction, and organizational commitment. A strong and positive culture enhances productivity, strengthens employee loyalty, and creates a conducive work environment. In addition, an adaptive organizational culture supports organizational effectiveness in responding to change. Based on the literature analysis, it can be concluded that organizational culture is a strategic element in improving organizational performance and success. Therefore, developing a positive organizational culture is essential to support organizational sustainability and competitiveness.

Abstract

Nepotism is a common occurrence in the workplace. Although the impact of nepotism on workplace commitment has been studied generally, studies specifically linking nepotism to employee motivational dimensions are still limited and in-depth. To address this gap, this literature review study was designed to examine the impact of nepotism on employee motivation. The research method used was a systematic literature review (SLR), conducted through the formation of a PICO, and using PRISMA 2020 to search and filter literature according to the inclusion criteria. This study found that nepotism is seen as a real threat to the stability and sustainability of organizations in the long term and has an impact on decreasing employee motivation, job satisfaction, and overall productivity. Equal opportunities for all employees in training, promotion, and career development are needed to minimize inequality caused by nepotism.
