Abstract

Background: Exclusive breastfeeding is the provision of breast milk without additional food or drink for six months. In Indonesia, coverage in 2024 was only 74.73%, still below the national target of 80% (BPS, 2024; Presidential Decree No. 72/2021). Stress has been shown to inhibit breast milk production by increasing cortisol, which suppresses prolactin and oxytocin (Matyas et al., 2024; Wambach & Spencer, 2024). Pharmacological approaches such as domperidone and metoclopramide are effective but carry the risk of arrhythmia and depression (Ou et al., 2021; Si et al., 2024; Hussain et al., 2021). Therefore, non-pharmacological interventions, including aromatherapy, are recommended. Fennel acts as a galactagogue (Triandini et al., 2022; Sari et al., 2023), while lavender and lemon have been shown to reduce anxiety and improve mood (Ropiah et al., 2023; Rahayu et al., 2023). Arum Kaheman, based on fennel-lavender and fennel-lemon, is designed to support successful lactation while also opening up natural product business opportunities for breastfeeding mothers in Indonesia. Methods: The study used a qualitative method, a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest sampling approach of 40 respondents, and a questionnaire as the instrument. Results: The study showed that the increase in breast milk flow after using an aromatherapy inhaler fell within the moderate improvement criteria. It had an effectiveness or influence of 3.60% in increasing breast milk flow in breastfeeding mothers. Conclusion: The innovation of the aromatherapy inhaler has been proven to help improve breast milk flow in breastfeeding mothers and assist midwives in providing obstetric care to breastfeeding mothers

Abstract

stunting is a chronic nutrional issue that remains a major concern in Indonesia due to its impact on children ‘s physical growth and cognitive development. This condition is generally caused by a long-term lack of nutrional intake, particularly during the first 1,000 days of life. One preventive measure that can be taken is providing supplementary feeding ( PMT ) that is not only nutritious but also affordable and easily accepted by toddlers. This study aims to implement a local food innovation in the form of “ cilok tempe “ ( tempeh starch ball ) as an alternative PMT at Bougenville Posyandu in Bojong Nangka Village. The method used is descriptive with a participatory approach throught educational activities and direct practice with mothers of toddlers. The result showed that 87% of toddlers accepted the product well, and there was a 25% increase in mothers ‘s understanding of the importance of balanced nutrition based on a comparison of pre-test and post – test result. The “ cilok tempe “ innovation is proven to be an economical and nutritious PMT alternative with he potential to be replicated at the community level.

Abstract

The primary indicator for assessing the success of health development in a country is the maternal mortality rate (MMR), calculated based on the number of maternal deaths during pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period, both due to congenital diseases and complications, per 100,000 live births. According to a World Health Organization (WHO) report, maternal mortality will remain a global public health problem until 2023. Data from the West Aceh Health Office indicates that in 2025, the maternal mortality rate will reach 5. The infant mortality rate in 2025 will be recorded at 34, with the most common causes being asphyxia and low birth weight (LBW). Efforts to accelerate the reduction in MMR and IMR include ensuring maternal access to quality health services, assisted delivery by trained health personnel, postpartum and neonatal care, an effective referral system, and family planning services, including postpartum family planning. Based on this description, researchers are interested in implementing Comprehensive Midwifery Care during pregnancy, childbirth, newborn care, and the postpartum period, including family planning counseling for postpartum mothers.

Abstract

This research synthesizes cutting-edge research on market segmentation, target market selection, and positioning in the service industry. The review is designed as a structured qualitative synthesis of Scopus indexed journal article documents published in the period 2020-2026. A total of 1,282 article documents were identified in the early stages. After filtering titles, abstracts, keywords, language, and conceptual suitability, as many as 80 article documents were retained for qualitative synthesis. The findings show that segmentation is the most dominant research stream, while studies that explicitly discuss target market selection are still relatively limited. The literature is heavily concentrated on tourism and hospitality, but meaningful expansion is beginning to emerge in the healthcare, banking, fintech, higher education, retail, and platform-based services sectors. Across the studies examined, segmentation has shifted from static demographic logic to a motivation, value, behavior, and analytics-based approach. Target market selection is increasingly understood as a multi-criteria decision-making issue that must balance market attractiveness, sustainability, and channel suitability. Positioning research emphasizes brand congruence, digital signaling, user-generated content, and differentiated value communication in service encounters. The main contribution of this review is to consolidate fragmented evidence into an integrated STP lens, affirm the dominance of the current tourism context, and propose a future research agenda centered on dynamic segmentation, cross-sector validation, and strengthening the linkages between STP decisions and service performance outputs.

Abstract

Personnel readiness is a critical aspect of military organizations because it determines the ability of units to perform tasks rapidly, accurately, and effectively. This study aims to identify and synthesize the factors influencing personnel readiness in military training. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review based on the PRISMA 2020 framework. The literature was retrieved from the Scopus database using the advanced search feature with keywords related to personnel readiness, military readiness, combat readiness, cognitive readiness, operational readiness, military training, training exercise, and military exercise. The initial search identified 146 articles, which were then screened based on title relevance and research context. As a result, 37 articles were retained for further analysis. The synthesis shows that personnel readiness in military training is influenced by six main groups of factors: training factors, individual factors, leadership factors, organizational factors, psychological-cognitive factors, and training technology factors. The findings indicate that personnel readiness is multidimensional and is not solely determined by physical training or procedural mastery, but also by motivation, competence, leadership, organizational support, the ability to cope with pressure, and the use of technology in training. This study concludes that improving personnel readiness requires an integrated, realistic, adaptive, and operationally relevant training design.

Abstract

The KIP-K (Smart Indonesia Card for Higher Education) program is designed to expand access to higher education for low-income groups. However, financial access does not automatically generate equality in the social and symbolic experiences of scholarship recipients. This study aims to analyse how KIP-K, despite being designed as an equalisation instrument, is structurally implicated in the reproduction of symbolic inequality. The method employed is a systematic critical review of 29 purposively selected sources from 2006–2026, encompassing Pierre Bourdieu's theoretical works, empirical studies of KIP-K students' experiences, and policy evaluations. Analysis draws on Bourdieu's conceptual framework,  habitus, capital, field, and symbolic violence as a reading lens for literature findings. Results identify six simultaneously operating mechanisms of symbolic inequality reproduction: (1) habitus cleft, (2) consumptive distinction, (3) institutional symbolic violence, (4) cultural capital gap, (5) policy stigma, and (6) spatial implementation disparity. These six mechanisms produce a condition termed Pseudo-Inclusion where formal inclusion occurs, but symbolic inequality is latently reproduced. Findings imply the need to reorient scholarship policy design beyond financial intervention toward transforming the structural conditions of the higher education field.
