The journal promotes research and scholarly discussion concerning Islamic Education Management in Academic disciplines and Institutions, focusing on the advancement of scholarship in formal and non-formal education. Topics might be about Islamic educational management studies in madrasah (Islamic schools), pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), and Islamic educational management in university. This journal is intended to communicate the original research and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes any contributions from scholars of the related disciplines.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to improve the quality of education in schools, namely by paying attention to all aspects in a school, both inputs, processes, and outputs. The success of a school will only be able to be carried out through effective management, as well as optimal leadership roles of the principal. The research method used is comparative descriptive qualitative research. Data collection is obtained from information, places and activities of the principal's leadership activities, as well as documents. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, direct observation, and recording documents. The data validity test is carried out by applying source trianggulation, method trianggulation. The results of the study are in the form of main findings, namely: 1) The Role of the Principal in Planning, Implementation and Evaluation in an effort to improve the quality of education in schools 2) Improving the quality of schools is determined by the leadership role of the principal in carrying out hisduties and functions. 3) Overall, the leadership role of the principal of SMP Negeri 1 Sukaresmi and SMP Fauzaniyyah, Garut Regency in carrying out their leadership role as principal through school-based management has been running well, but in terms of planning, organizing, implementing, supervising and evaluating it has not run optimally.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out that Indonesia is one of the nation states that has a diverse social diversity of society. As a large unitary state, Indonesia requires special attention to development issues. Regional autonomy has encouraged regional development based on the participation of regional communities and the values of local wisdom. This paper aims to describe how to actualize the values of local wisdom in regional development in order to create the integrity of a virtuous nation. This research is a qualitative research with data collection using literature review. The results of this study show that regional development is part of Indonesia's national development. In addition, theactualization of the value of local wisdom in one region with another can have similarities can also be different. Furthermore, this study shows that there is a link between local wisdom, development and aspects of security defense, especially on peace issues and conflict resolution.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the improvement of teacher professionalism to be achieved. So that good management activities are needed, including the leadership of the principal and academic supervision so that teachers are able to carry out their duties and functions with maximum ability in guiding students. The research approach used in this study is Mixed Methods Research, which is research that combines quantitative and qualitative methods with sequential explanatory models (sequence of proof). Quantitative and qualitative data collection using questionnaires, interviews, observations and documentation studies. The results of this study show that; 1) The principal's leadership obtained high qualifications, 2) Academic supervision obtained high qualifications, 3) Teacher professionalism obtained good qualifications, 4) There was a positive and significant influence of the principal's leadership on professionalism, 5) There was a positive and significant influence of academic supervision on teacher professionalism, 6) There was a positive and significant influence of principal leadership and academic supervision on teacher professionalism, 7) The principal's leadership quantitatively is no different from the principal's leadership qualitatively, 8) Academic supervision quantitatively is no different from academic supervision qualitatively, and 9) Teacher professionalism quantitatively is no different from teacher professionalism qualitatively in MA Yapisa and MA Ar-Raudloh.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of family and school education on the character formation of students at MA-YI Rajamandala and SMKN 1 Cipatat. This research is a quantitative research with descriptive method that focuses on family education, school and student character. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire/questionnaire, documentation. While the data analysis used descriptive quantitative analysis and inferential. The results of the study at MA-YI Rajamandala showed that there was an influence of family and school education of 13.2% with a sig value of 0.021 < 0.05 and Fcount 4.171 > Ftable 3.16. Meanwhile, at SMKN 1 Cipatat, the effect was 18.6 with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05 and Fcount 9.466 > Ftable 3.10.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an is a way of life for all time, which is relevant in various aspects of life. At first glance, the Qur'an discusses issues of belief, worship, morals, lawful and unlawful, but more than that, the Qur'an also discusses issues of science. Among other things related to education issues, including the scope and Management of Education. The word "Yudabbiru" which means to regulate, should be the basis that the Qur'an there does discuss God's settings for His creation, including managing the affairs of His creatures. Departing from the fact that humans as vicegerents of God on earth have the duty and obligation to manage, utilize, and prosper this earth. Education here includes the implementation and management of education properly and correctly. Al-Qur'an and Hadith as the foundation of Islamic education management with the principles of Tawheed, Khalifah and Amanah. Furthermore, the familiar function is called management Planning, Organizing, Motivating and Controlling, such as the teachings of the Qur'an, that in life and living, humans must have planning, organising, unity and mutual cooperation. Apart from that, it must also be able to move others to do or carry out both motivation, advice and guidance. thus need to be controlled and monitored in order to get maximum results

Abstract

In the implementation of education, good school administration management is needed to be able to provide services to related parties to produce better performance. Accuracy, accuracy and speed of data/information presentation are important factors in managing good administration. One of the tasks of school administration staff in an educational institution is in terms of correspondence, because of that school administration is often called writing work which produces letters and then collects them into archives. The management of correspondence needs to be applied to each educational institution, because it is a source of data or information that is useful for the maximum progress of the educational institution, the source of data and information used is in the form of a letter document.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the Strategic Management of New Student Admissions at SMK MA'ARIF CIJULANG, new students are a very important activity in school. It is said so because if there is no acceptance, the school will not get students. If this happens, theexistence of the schoolwill be disrupted. This research was conducted using descriptive qualitative methods using datacollection methods in the form of: interviews, observationand documentation. The results showed that (1) the strategic management activities of new student admissions at SMK MA'ARIF Cijulang were carried out in PPDB SMK MA'ARIF Cijulang. The promotion displayed the excellence and quality of the school, namely evidence of student achievement in trophies, certificates, medals, etc. (2) Planning before PPDB is by determining the capacity of prospective new students, determining the requirements for accepting new prospective students, then preparing PPDB informationmedia and finally preparing administration and facilities and infrastructure. (2) The implementation of PPDB begins with the formation of a committee and the division of tasks for each committee. After that formed the admissions selection team, determination of the selection time, PPDB selection and the last is the announcement of the selection results. (3) The results of the acceptance of new students at SMK MA'ARIF CIJULANG arequite good, this is evidenced in the acceptance period in the 2022/2023 school year SMK MA'ARIF CIJULANG obtained as many as 19 students within a period of two months. (4) Evaluation of PPDB at SMK MA'ARIF CIJULANG using the accountability report system (LPJ )after PPDB. This report was submitted in aspecial committee meeting regarding the process of PPDB activities from beginning to end.

Abstract

From this value, it is obtained that the decision Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, so thatthe School Organizational Climate (X) variable has an effect on Motivation (Y) Achievement and Learning Performance (Z). The significance of the value of the test results above is also supported by the magnitude of the value of determination (R2YZX) of 0.1246 which also shows the magnitude of the contribution of School Organizational Climate to Achievement Motivation to realize Learning Performance, which is 12.46%, while the re-maining is 0.8754 or 87 ,54% influenced by other variables not included in the model. Theresults of testing the sub-hypothesis: School Organizational Climatehas a significant effecton Achievement Motivation, School Organizational Climate has no significant effect onlearning performance, and Achievement Motivation has a significant effect on learning performance. This study found a number of important problem findings: First, on variableX (School Organizational Climate), the findings of the problems that are considered important are the level of teacher participation in school organizations is still low despite theavailability of adequate facilities and infrastructure and located in the boarding school environment. Second, on the Y variable (achievement motivation), the findings of the problem that are considered important are the teacher's motivation in the learning process is stillnot strong. Third, on variable Z (learning performance), the findings of important problems include: Teacher performance in learning is not optimal, also in teaching and learning activities (KBM) the majority of teachers do not complete teacher administration. Theoretically, the research results have implications for the theories that form the basis of the research variables, which basically can function if the school's organizational climate and learning motivation can actually be implemented based on existing theories, but in reality these theories are notcan be fully implemented.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to find out about the brand community approach andthe motivation for choosing a campus as a place to study at STIT QA. The writing of thisarticleuses qualitative methods with a case study approach and a literature study. A casestudy is a model that focuses on exploring one particular case or several cases in detail byextracting in-depth data. Various sources of information that are rich in context are usedfor data mining. From the discussion, it can be concluded that STIT QA as a relatively newinstitution is required to make acceleration and accuracy in regulating its educationalmarketing strategy in order to fulfill the wishes of the stakeholders. Among the things thatneed attention are how to develop a brand community approach as an agency, as a sourceof information, and as a collective interaction. In addition, a basic understanding of thecommunity's motivational factors is needed, in this case students choose this institution tostudy.

Writing this article aims to determine the role of human resource management in organi-zationsSTIT Qurrota A’yun. The writing of this article uses the method of literature review (library research). From the discussion it can be concluded that Human Resource Man-agement is an element of HRM. Human workforce is not only capable, capable, and skilled, it is also important for their willingness and sincerity to work effectively and efficiently. Employees' abilities and skills are meaningless if they are not followed by work morale and employee discipline in realizing the goals of human resource management having five functions, namely the Procurement Function, Development function, Compensation func-tion, and Maintenance function. functional goals, social goals, personal goals. Human re-source management is needed to improve the effectiveness of human resources in the or-ganization. The goal is to provide the organization with an effective work unit. To achieve this goal, the study of personnel management will show how companies should acquire, develop, use, evaluate, and retain employees in number (quantity) and type (quality).
