This Journal publishes Indonesian Islamic Education Management articles from various perspectives, covering literary and fieldwork studies. The journal promotes research and scholarly discussion concerning Islamic Education Management in Academic disciplines and Institutions, focusing on the advancement of scholarship in formal and non-formal education. Topics might be about Islamic educational management studies in madrasah (Islamic schools), pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), and Islamic educational management in university. This journal is intended to communicate the original research and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes any contributions from scholars of the related disciplines.

Abstract

Character education cannot be separated from the world of education. Schools as formal institutions in the education system can be the birthplace of student characters. This brings a moral message that teachers not only educate students by transferring their knowledge, but also pay attention to the development of their character. Education is the key in shaping the character of children from an early age, because the nature of education is not only limited to the transfer of knowledge but also the transfer of values, all of which is done to build the character of the nation's children with noble personalities and overcome children delinquency from various social deviations. This study aims to introduce the optimization of character education through the application of skills-based PAI teaching and learning processes. Students in PAI classes will benefit from this application because students will be involved in the teaching and learning process intellectually, manually, and socially. If the individual character is based on religious values as the main foundation, a strong character will be born and become a strong nation. The main purpose of character education according to Islam is to shape the personality of students so that they have good ethics and a sense of culture and make it happen in everyday life. In addition, they can develop character values such as religious, honest, tolerant, disciplined, creative, independent, fair, curiosity, love to read, and responsibility. Character education that is influenced by PAI-based learning process skills can be the basis for developing optimal student character.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the financing of education at the Al-Ma'arif Assa'adiyah Islamic boarding school during the covid-19 pandemic until now. Since the pandemic began to affect economic factors, since then the education funding sourced from the parents of students began to decline. On the other hand, school operational financing must run because the teaching and learning process continues both online and offline. This research is qualitative in nature with the key informant being the head of the Islamic boarding school and the supporting informants are the chairman of the foundation, deputy principal, teachers and students of the Payakumbuh Al-Ma'arif Islamic boarding school. In collecting data, observation, interview, and documentation techniques were used. The data analysis technique in this study consisted of three components of data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that several efforts were made by the school principal along with other related elements in helping to finance education during the pandemic, namely: (1) Opening a small and medium-sized business consisting of a laundry business, rendang telur and chips business which was marketed locally and also outside the region, business in agriculture by growing chili and breeding vanilla seeds; (2) Building good relations with the community and expanding the network by building good relations with alumni, recruiting permanent and non-permanent donors and carrying out proposals for assistance through friendship.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine efforts to improve the quality of human resources in education in Indonesia which is very worrying where the quality rating when compared to other countries is in a lagging position. The research method used is a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis sourced from secondary data through scientific writings on Islamic education. The results of this study found that the phenomenon of the low quality of human resources in education in Indonesia can be taken seriously by immediately looking for solutions that can increase the quality of this nation's education and apply them as a whole seriously and guided by the best role models in mind. The Prophet who has been proven to give birth to the best generations of people through various concepts and learning.

Abstract

Digitalization is the process of transferring media from a printed form to a digital form. Digitalization is done to create digital archives, photocopying, and for digital library collections. The development of library information technology in educational and training institutions is endeavored by an exellent service for the users, this is not enough in the conventional way. Currently the latest development is very remarkable related to digital libraries (digital library) which has advantages in the speed of management or accessing oriented to digital data and computer network media (internet).

Abstract

Phonemena the emergence of ethnic and religious conflicts is one of them due to the lack of insight into understanding of cultural diversity that should be an inevitability. Responding to this, Islamic Religious Education is important to be developed in multicultural insight so that the reality of multicultural society can be accommodated in it. This research uses a qualitative approach with this type of case study, with the location of. Research in SMPN 1 Garut West Java. The informant of this study is pai principal and teacher, with data retrieval methods through interviews, observations and documentation studies. Dor implementation of the research, what results are obtained, and the benefits of the research. The data that has been obtained is analyzed, interpreted and interpreted in a descriptive quality. The results of the findings obtained are the formulation of pai curriculum that is applied is flexible and based on the analysis of the situation faced by the community. Pai's design takes into account the multicultural aspects of society by paying attention to the situation of students, and teachers who carry out learning activities. The strategy used is to include multicultural values such as a sense of justice, love, and compassion, mutual respect both between teachers and students, between school institutions and elements in the school and with the community.

Abstract

Curriculum management is the process of utilizing all management activities, starting from planning, implementing and evaluating in order to maximize the achievement of educational curriculum objectives implemented in educational institutions. The facts on the ground show that TMI Al-Amien Prenduan has implemented curriculum management activities, namely the planning, implementation and evaluation processes. The purpose of this study was to identify the planning of the modern Islamic boarding school curriculum at the TMI Al-Amien Prenduan Modern Islamic Boarding School, the implementation of the modern Islamic boarding school curriculum at the TMI Al-Amien Prenduan Modern Islamic Boarding School and the evaluation of the modern Islamic boarding school curriculum at the TMI Al-Amien Prenduan Modern Islamic Boarding School. This study uses a qualitative approach through interviews, observation and documentation. As a source of triangulation, in-depth interviews were conducted with other informants, namely the deputy head of the curriculum, curriculum staff, general secretary, infrastructure staff and teachers. The results showed that the management of the pesantren curriculum at TMI Al-Amien Prenduan was effective in a systematic way from planning, implementing and evaluating realistically and influencing success in the learning process to improve the quality of graduates.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTMT) policy is applied in Early Childhood Education institutions. This study uses kualitative methode and an analytical descriptive approach, methode of collecting data and information using observation, interviews and study documentation. Informants in this mini research are the Principal, Teachers and Parents. The research subjects were chosen with the consideration that TK Kuncup Kartika was the earliest educational institution to implement the PTMT policy in the Jatinangor District. The illustration is that the stages of making Limited Face-to-face Learning (PTMT) policies include regulatory studies, studies on the empirical condition of Covid 19 in the Jatinangor District, and observing parents' expectations. The implementation of the PTMT policy begins with carrying out pre-learning, then designing the Limited Face-to-Face Learning (PTMT) design during the Covid 19 Pandemic, and establishing Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for learning in schools. The analysis of the results of the implementation of the Limited Face-to-Face Learning (PTMT) policy uses a SWOT analysis. The implementation of the Limited Face-to-Face Learning (PTMT) policy has a positive impact on schools, especially on increasing the achievement of six aspects of student development.

Abstract

Merdeka Belajar Kampus education policy aims to prepare students to become resilient scholars, relevant to the needs of the times, and ready to become leaders in the future, namely with innovative, creative and integrative learning systems based on Learning outcomes (LO). Merdeka Belajar-Kampus Merdeka Policy at Buana Perjuangan Karawang University begins with MOU/SPK at the university level, Faculty and Study program with an independent program of independent campus learning is to increase graduate competition both soft skills and hard skills. Mini research method in the form of qualitative methods with data collection through observation and interviews with the mbkm curriculum framer team of Buana Perjuangan Karawang University supported by literature as a support in the collection of mini-research data.

Abstract

This study describes the implementation of the Education Management Information System (SIMDIK) in the learning process at SMKN 1 Cijulang. Educational management information systems were developed to meet the needs of institutions/schools, where schools want the learning process to use information systems in an effort to answer the challenges of the 21st century which requires institutions/schools to develop a management information system (MIS) to create learning that is not monotonous and boring for students in class. This study uses qualitative methods using observation, interviews and documentation as data collection techniques. the results of this study indicate that the implementation of the Education Management Information System (SIMDIK) at SMKN 1 Cijulang in the learning process utilizes the learning application system, namely Edmodo, E-Raport and Smart Board for the Axioo class in creating interactive learning is quite good. Supporting factors in the application of an education management information system at SMKN 1 Cijulang are the existence of a dapodik information system that is useful for registering students, educators and education personnel (PTK), the support and cooperation of various parties in infrastructure or human resources in supporting SMKN 1 Cijulang as a school. implementing a digitalization system. As for the obstacles encountered in the learning process at SMKN 1 Cijulang including elderly teachers who have difficulty using management information system (SIM) applications.

Abstract

The emergence of the Covid 19 pandemic caused some educational institutions to decide to carry out online learning. However, Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Al Musri 1 Cianjur became one of the educational institutions that continued to carry out face-to-face learning during the Covid 19 pandemic. This article aims to describe the policy of implementing face-to-face learning in the midst of the Pandemic, the impact of face-to-face learning policies in the midst of the pandemic, as well as supporting factors and inhibiting the policy of face-to-face learning activities in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Al Musri 1 Cianjur. This paper was compiled using a case study approach in qualitative research methods, primary data sources obtained from principals, teachers and students of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Al Musri 1 and secondary data sources from madrasah documentation Tsanawiyah Al Huda Al Musri 1. Data collection techniques are used in the form of interviews, observations and documentation with three methods of data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion withdrawal. Face-to-Face Learning in the Midst of the Covid 19 Pandemic in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Al Huda Al Musri 1 is carried out by reducing the duration of learning so that it has an impact on the addition of activities outside the classroom, but parents benefit because their children still receive learning safely. Supporting the implementation of this learning is the existence of a 24-hour dormitory system and the inhibiting factor is the lack of facilities and infrastructure.
