This Journal publishes Indonesian Islamic Education Management articles from various perspectives, covering literary and fieldwork studies. The journal promotes research and scholarly discussion concerning Islamic Education Management in Academic disciplines and Institutions, focusing on the advancement of scholarship in formal and non-formal education. Topics might be about Islamic educational management studies in madrasah (Islamic schools), pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), and Islamic educational management in university. This journal is intended to communicate the original research and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes any contributions from scholars of the related disciplines.

Abstract

Teachers must have high organizational coomitment competence. Organizational commitment shows the degree to which a teacher supports an organization and its goals in the organization. Academic supervision is serries of activities carried out by school principal to help teachers develop their ability to manage the learning process. Through this research, it is expected to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of education supervision and work commitment on teachers performance at the MTS in the all Sub-districk Langkaplancar, Pangandaran Regency. The object of research in this study is the MTS in the all Sub-districk of Langkaplancar, Pangandaran Regency because based on the observations of researchers that the phenomenon of decrease in performance achieved by teachers is influenced by education supervision and work commitment. The research method used is descriptive and verification analysis with data collection techniques using questionnaires distributed to teachers using proportionate random sampling technique. The total population is 94 people and the sample is 77 people. The result of the descriptive analysis prove that the education supervision is good, work commitment and performance of the teachers are good too. There is a positive and significant influence of education supervision and work commitment simultaneously on the performance of teachers at the MTS in the all Sub-districk Langkaplancar, Pangandaran Regency”. Thus,the quality of supervision must be improved such as icreasing class visits, clinical supervision, correctiv observations, and the suitability of learning tools with the implementation of learning. By increasing class visits, it is hoped that teacher performance will grow.

Abstract

So far, many people think that a high quality of a good job is influenced by a high quality of intellectual quotien (IQ). But in fact, the quality of Intelectual Quotien is not the main factor that influence on a Job of someone. There are other kind of intellectual called Emotional Quotien (EQ) and also a quality of good behaviour in working. The aim of this research is to know how high is the quality ofEmotional quotient, good behaviour and performance of the State Islamic Senior High School teachers’ in Pangandaran regency and also to know partially how high is the quality of the influence of Emotional Quotient and good behavior ofteacher simustaneously on their job performance. This research used qualitative and descriptive method. The sample of this research are 56 teacher of the State Islamic Senior High School in Pangandaran regency. To collect the dataThe researcher used a questioner that contain32 questions (9 questions for Emotional quotient variable, 8 question for Discipline performance variable, and 15 question for teacher performance and the interview to the vice school head of curriculum. To analyze the data, the researcher used analytical descriptive and the test of double linier regression method. This research shows that emotional quotient is in good quality (3,8 point);a good behavior of teachers is in very good quality (4.6 point); and teachers’ job performance is in Very Good Quality (4.4 point). Those mean that there are a significant influence between emotional quotient and good behaviour of the teacher on their job performance quality. In conclusion, emotional quotient and a good behaviorhas a great impact on the quality of teachers’ job performance. So, the teacher is obliged to increase their emotional quotient and quality of the job to develop their teaching performance without forgetting other factor that also influence to their performance quality.

Abstract

From a long time ago, Indonesia seemed to be full of criminal and immoral cases. Outbreaks of crime seem more rampant than the Covid-19 virus itself. The Indonesian people constantly get news that hurts moral values. The proof, based on a report by Komnas Perempuan in 2021, stated that as many as 2500 acts of violence befell women. Even until the end of this year, immoral acts continued to emerge. On December 2, 2021, we were shocked by the news that a girl committed suicide (NW) because her partner did not want to be responsible for her pregnancy. Then, five days ago, on December 6, 2021, we were again shocked by the news of sexual violence where, a mother who had just given birth was raped by 4 people in front of her children, even the perpetrator killed the victim's newborn child. However, what is even sadder than immorality is when someone commits munkar under the pretext of being consensual. For example, the phenomenon of FWB (Friend with Benefit) where a person is free to have sex as long as there is no coercion even though there is no marriage bond. FWB is usually done by young people. If this phenomenon continues, it can lead to the destruction of the next generation. This phenomenon usually occurs due to the influence of the social environment and even the closest family through efforts to strengthen Islamic values for children. Therefore, Islamic Parenting needs to be re-actualized in order to reduce moral decadence.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) determine the effect of curriculum management on student achievement in Islamic boarding schools at Darul Muqomah Pangandaran, (2) determine the effect of Ustadz competence on student achievement in Darul Muqomah Pangandaran Islamic Boarding School (3) Determine the effect of curriculum management and Ustadz competence on achievement. students study at the Darul Muqomah Islamic Boarding School in Pangandaran. In this study the authors used quantitative descriptive and verification with the type of correlational research. Data were collected through questionnaires from respondents with a population of all teachers (30 teachers) at the Darul Muqomah Islamic Boarding School, Pangandaran. Researchers conducted validity and reliability tests, as well as multiple linear regression through the SPSS windows 24 program. Based on the results of the analysis of research data, that: Islamic boarding school curriculum management, ustadz competence and student learning achievement at the Darul Muqomah Islamic Boarding School, Pangandaran are good. The management of the pesantren curriculum and the competence of the ustadz simultaneously affect the learning achievement of students at the Darul Muqomah Islamic Boarding School in Pangandaran, this is evidenced by the multiple linear regression equation model with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what strategies are used to improve the performance of the Mekarsari Village apparatus. How to approach the development of human resources for the Mekarsari Village Apparatus. As well as knowing the pattern of human resource management in the Mekarsari Village apparatus. This study uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. Research resource persons from the Village Head, Village Apparatusand the Mekarsari Village community. The analysis technique uses SWOT analysis. The validity test used the source training method and technical triangulation methods. The results of the study show that the strategies implemented to improve the quality of the performance of village officials in Mekarsari are carried out by: 1) Increasing the quality and quantity of employees through continuing to higher education, attending training, technical guidance, courses, seminars, work shops, etc. which aim to increase knowledge and employee experience. 2) Increase the number of employees according to the needs and the ideal number for a village. 3) Improve office facilities and infrastructure. The human resource development approach model in Mekarsari Village includes four approach methods used to develop employees: formal education, assessment, various work experiences, and personal relationships. The Strategy to Improve the Performance Quality of Mekarsari Village Officials with the Development Approach and Human Resource Management Pattern is quite effective in improving the performance quality of the Village apparatus. This can be seen from the quality of service which is more effective and efficient than before.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of leadership, managerial competence, and member participationon the performance of cooperatives at the Al Ihya Pamarican Islamic Boarding School, Ciamis Regency, West Java Province.The method used is a quantitative approach,population of data collected in the study is allcooperative members totaling 34 people and all of them are used as objects of research. While sampling using non-probability sampling technique that does not provide equal opportunities for elements of the population to be selected as samples. Furthermore, the test used to test the research instrument is in the form of validity and reliability tests. Hypothesis testing using T test and F test, while data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis.The results of the study stated that leadership, management competence, and member participation had an effect simultaneously or partially on the performance of cooperatives

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implications of planning, implementing and evaluating entrepreneurial education on the entrepreneurial competence of students at the Riyadlusharfiwalmantiq Islamic Boarding School. The research method uses a qualitative approach with phenomenological methods, data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The analysis technique uses SWOT analysis. The validity test used source training and technical triangulation methods. The results of the study indicate that the Entrepreneurship Education plan at the Riyadlusharfiwalmantiq Islamic Boarding School is set out in the form of an entrepreneur learning curriculum, which consists of theory-based learning planning and practice-based planning. Furthermore, it is described in the form of a learning syllabus that contains basic competencies, subject matter, indicators, learning activities, time allocation and assessment. Entrepreneurship education is implemented with two methods, namely theory-based learning and practice-based learning. Evaluation of the results of Entrepreneurship Education is carried out in 2 ways, directly (during the learning process) and post-learning. To examine the evaluation of entrepreneurial education learning using an evaluation model, namely the evaluation of the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, and Product) model. Entrepreneurial competence of students at Riyadlusharfiwalmantiq Islamic Boarding School was formed to have social entrepreneur and corporate entrepreneur competencies. Entrepreneurial education management has implications for students to gain knowledge, skills, and attitudes and aims to make students have the ability and ability to become beginners in entrepreneurship.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the development of reading interest and reading ability which is indeed very concerning at this time, how not, this is caused by the methods given to students and students in general are less or even unpleasant, most of the existing methods are only result-oriented not on process. This very low reading habit makes the ability of some students at school to be low. Libraries as educational institutions and information providers will have good performance if they are supported by adequate management, so that all institutional activities will lead to efforts to achieve the goals that have been proclaimed. The focus of his research is the role of library management in an effort to increase students' reading interest. This study uses a qualitative research method using a descriptive approach which is presented in the first and second chapters, each of which discusses the introduction and literature review, while the data exposure and research discussion is in the fourth chapter. The data collection technique used the method of interview, observation and documentation as well as collecting valid documents and data. Planning for school library service standards at SMP Plus Maarif NU Parigi includes; library material planning, human resource planning, facilities and infrastructure planning, service planning and budget planning. Implementation of library management includes; implementation of library material processing, implementation of organizing human resources, implementation of structuring library infrastructure, implementation of library services tailored to the needs and implementation of budget use Evaluation and supervision of libraries is carried out by school principals and vice principals in the field of curriculum.

Abstract

Through this research, it is expected to obtain empirical evidence about the influence of Educator Resource Management and Principal Leadership on School Quality in Private Madrasah Aliyah, Babakan Jamanis Parigi Pangandaran Islamic Boarding School Foundation. The object of research in this research is Madrasah Aliyah Private Islamic Boarding School Foundation Parigi Pangandaran, because based on the observations of researchers that there is a phenomenon of educators who do not have an academic degree and there are still many who have not been certified. The research method used is descriptive and verification analysis with data collection techniques using questionnaires distributed to educators using total sampling technique (saturated) because the population is only 25 people. The results of descriptive analysis prove that educator resource management, principal leadership and quality the school is classified as very good, the results of the verification analysis "there is a strong positive relationship between educator resource management and principal leadership on school quality".

Abstract

The ideal view of the professionalism of school principals is reflected in the image of future principals, namely principals who have expertise, responsibility, and a sense of fellowship supported by strong professional ethics. Some school supervisor notesin Cijulang sub-district are more principals whose competence is still below the standard. Therefore, this research takes the title: "The Influence of Principal Competence on Teacher Performance". where this research is a study of several Regional Public Elementary Schools in Pangandaran Regency". This study aims to examine the influence of the principal's competence on teacher performance at public elementary schools in the Pangandaran Regency. The method used in this research is descriptive analytical method with a quantitative approach. The population of the study was all public elementary schools located in the Pangandaran Regency, which amounted to 293 schools. Sampling using random sampling technique that is determining the sample randomly by determining 50% of the total population. The research data is in accordance with the operational variables, taken using a research questionnaire technique. The conclusion of the study is that together there is a positive and significant influence of managerial competence, supervisory competence, entrepreneurial competence, personality competence, and principal's social competence on teacher performance.
