This Journal publishes Indonesian Islamic Education Management articles from various perspectives, covering literary and fieldwork studies. The journal promotes research and scholarly discussion concerning Islamic Education Management in Academic disciplines and Institutions, focusing on the advancement of scholarship in formal and non-formal education. Topics might be about Islamic educational management studies in madrasah (Islamic schools), pesantren (Islamic boarding schools), and Islamic educational management in university. This journal is intended to communicate the original research and current issues on the subject. This journal warmly welcomes any contributions from scholars of the related disciplines.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to study and analyze the management of Academic Supervision on  Teacher  Performance  during  the  Covid-19  Pandemic.  The  research  location  is  in  Sekolah  Aliyah  Negeri  2  Bandung.  This  research  is  a  research  using  a  qualitative  approach  and  the results  of  the  research  are  presented  in  a  descriptive  form.  Data  collection  in  this  study  was carried  out  by  means  of  interviews,  observation,  and  documentation.  The  results  showed: First,   the   Academic   Supervision   Management   at   SMP   Negeri   2 Cimenyam   Kabupaten  Bandung  for  several  components  is  in  accordance  with  the  theory  of  the  implementation  of covid  academic  supervision,  namely  (1)  Planning:  includes  review  of  supervision  programs, identification     of     infrastructure,     preparation     of     assessment     instruments,     program synchronization  and  socialization  program.  (2)  implementation:  includes  pre-observation activities   (initial  planning,   checking  learning  plans,   learning  media),   conducting  online learning   observations   through   media   /   applications,   and   conducting   post-observation activities   by   analyzing   the   results   of   observations,   evaluating   and   planning   follow-up supervision    (3)    Evaluation:    includes    the    activity    of    analyzing    the    results    of    the implementation  of  supervision  from  beginning  to  end  and  following  up  on  the  results  of  the supervision.  Second,  the  teacher's  performance  in  making  learning  planning  is  quite  good, some   components   still   need   to   be   improved,   and   for   the   assessment   of   learning implementation, it has not been maximally carried out,the new assessment is seen when there is a report on learning activities by the teacher.

Abstract

The curriculum has two meanings, in a narrow sense curriculumis a number of subjects taken by students in an educational institution, and in a broad sense curriculum is "what persons experience in a setting" all experiences and learning culture created by an educational institution to build independence and achieve the desired educational goals. Meanwhile, the Islamic education curriculum is an educational curriculum that has a foundation based on Islam, namely the Qur'an and Hadith, which pays close attention to the personality conditions of humans or students such as physical aspects, intellectual aspects and spiritual aspects. Hadith as the second source of law after the Koran is the foundation in the preparation of the Islamic education curriculum. But indeed we will not find a special word in the Hadith such as manhaj al-dirasah as a word that denotes curriculum. So the curriculum in Tarbawi Hadith studies is in the form of a range of values, culture, character, principles, teachings that are spread out in the hadith treasures, which are examples of the application of the Koran by the Prophet Muhammad SAW

Abstract

This research is entitled, "Factors Causing Low Interest in Continuing Education to Higher Education". The purpose of this research is to examine what factors cause low interest in continuing education to tertiary institutions (universities) at SMK Miftahul Ulum Cimerak. This research uses qualitative research with descriptive type, collection technique with triagulation (combined), data analysis is inductive/qualitative, and taking informants by purposive sampling with a total of 44 informants. The data source for this research was a questionnaire filled in by students at SMK Miftahul Ulum Cimerak. The results of this study are (1) the internal factors that cause low interest in continuing their education to tertiary institutions are the lack of motivation or desire to go to college and the desire to find work independently. (2) External factors that cause low interest in continuing education to tertiary institutions are economic limitations or expensive tuition fees and social environmental factors.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the use of database management systems in inventorying infrastructure. This research method uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques of interviews, observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used the Miles and Huberman technique and tested the validity using the triangulation technique. The results of this study, namely based on observation results, it can be seen that 1) the database management system at SMK Pasundan Cijulangis only carried out in managing the inventory of infrastructure facilities 2) the process of inventorying infrastructure facilities, namely in the process of inventorying goods and the process of borrowing goods. 3) The use of inventory databases in the infrastructure process at SMK Pasundan Cijulang was carried out based on Microsoft Excel.

Abstract

A high interest in reading will affect a person's skills. Each skill is interrelated with each other and is related to the processes that underlie language skills. Seeing the importance of reading interest, efforts are needed to foster reading interest in a person. Therefore, the school library must be utilized as much as possible as an information resource center and a center for fun educational recreation facilities for its users, especially students, so that it is hoped that the school library can foster students' interest and love of reading. The purpose of this study is how library management, how the role of teachers on reading interest, how student reading interest, is there a relationship between library management and student reading interest, is there a relationship between the role of teachers on student reading interest, is there a relationship between library management and the role of teachers on student reading interest. This study only focuses on the relationship between library management and the role of teachers on student reading interest. The type of approach used is qualitative method with naturalistic research method because the research is conducted in natural conditions (natural environment). The relationship between the library and the role of the teacher is quite good, while the role of the teacher in improving student reading is very instrumental. Therefore, all teachers must understand the role of what it takes to improve student skills at MAN 1 Pangandaran. This research is expected to contribute to related parties such as principals, teachers, committee administrators to add insight or knowledge about the importance of library management and teacher motivation in fostering students' interest in reading.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how efforts to increase non-academic achievement through the management of infrastructure at MA Al Furqon Cimerak. The research method used in this research is a case study method with a qualitative approach. The research subjects inthis study were school principals who were part of the curriculum manager, extracurricular coordinators, administrative staff and students. The results of the study show that efforts to increase non-academic achievement through management of infrastructure at MA Al Furqon Cimerak are carried out through renewal and provision of extracurricular infrastructure. Schools make various strategies such as providing the best trainers to hone students' talents, finding competent teachers, and actively facilitating students to participate in various competitions. In addition, the school principal also monitors teachers in providing good assistance and guidance to students so that they are enthusiastic and earnest in achieving

Abstract

The exam is one way to evaluate the learning process and is a means to measure students' abilities in a field of study. Initially, exams and learning were carried out conventionally, but over time and the implementation of the independent curriculum, exams and learning at SMAN 1 Pangandaran are now using gadgets to support the learning process. Based on these conditions, the school created an online learning and examination system that students and teachers could access in the form of a Google form. Learning runs smoothly but is often constrained by the network due to the large number of blank spot areas at SMAN 1 Pangandaran. Because of this situation, the school created a semi-online exam system application, namely the SIUS application, which is a local school application. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive approach. The technique in this study is the method of observation, interviews and documentation related to the management of the learning system and exams at SMAN 1 PANGANDARAN. The object of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of using the SIUS application in learning and exams at SMAN 1 PANGANDARAN. The results of the study show that the creation and use of the SIUS application is very effective in supporting student learning. Management of exam data for students and teachers is easier because it is automatically managed by the SIUS application. This application has had a significant impact on the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

A lot of empty land that is left without any plants planted, can be an ideal place for the growth of weeds. At SMK Bakti Karya Parigi, vacant land is used as an object of field school-based ecological learning. The background of this research is to create innovation in conducting field schools. Field school-based Ecology Education is one of the learning methods at Bakti Karya Parigi Vocational School which aimsto provide a more practical and hands-on learning experience in the workplace. In this research, we aim to evaluate the implementation of Field School-Based Ecological Education at SMK Bakti Karya Parigi. This research method uses a qualitative approach that focuses on in-depth observation. Therefore, the use of qualitative methods in research can produce a more comprehensive study of a phenomenon. This research is intended to find out how to implement ecological understanding by conducting field schools. This research resulted in the implementation of field school-based management of ecological learning management that uses management functions in it

Abstract

The rapid development of the times has brought about significant changes in various aspects of human life. From day to day, week to week, there are constant changes happening to individuals, groups, and societies. Social changes that occur in society encompass economic, cultural, political, and educational aspects. These changes do not always lead to improvement but can also move in the opposite direction. An analysis of Social Change and Development at MTs YPAK Cigugur: A Review of the Role of Educational Institutions in Social Transformation aims to prepare human resources, such as the community, to face these changes. The purpose of writing this article is to study the data collection technique, which was conducted through direct interviews with sources and literature studies. The research results discuss the changes in students' social behavior at MTs YPAK Cigugur due to the use of smartphones. The use of social media among MTS students, especially in the ninth grade at MTs YPAK Cigugur, influences changes in students' social behavior, particularly within the school environment. Therefore, appropriate supervision by teachers and parents is necessary regarding students' smartphone usage. With good supervision, it is hoped that the negative impact of social media usage can be minimized, and students can use social media positively to support their learning and social development.

Abstract

The education is very important in improving quality, because of that education improvements are carried out related to improving the teaching and learning process. Therefore, good classroom management is needed so that teaching and learning objectives canbe achieved. In classroom management, the teacher should pay attention to and create a classroom atmosphere so that it remains safe, comfortable and conducive. There are supporting and inhibiting factors in classroom management. This study aims to find out how the supporting and inhibiting factors of classroom management at Harapan Sindangsari Kindergarten are. This study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. The techniques used in data collection are observation, interviews and document techniques. Data analysis uses inductive data analysis. The results of the study show that class management at Harapan Sindangsari Kindergarten has been going well but not optimally. Factors supporting classroom management come from facilities, teachers, principals, parents and students, inhibiting factors are challenges faced by teachers, how to handle children who need more attention, how to handle situations when many children are fussy, obstacles involving parents in the educational process of children in the kindergarten class
