Abstract

The ability to move dance is part of dance activities that must be possessed by students in the experience of the dance learning process. However, there are still many students whose ability to dance is still lacking. Exercise is an effort that can be done to improve the ability to move dance. This study aims to improve the dance movement skills of students through the application of body exercises in extracurricular classes for students at one of the SDN East Jakarta. The method used in this research is the method of action which is carried out in two cycles which include planning, action, observing, and reflecting. Data collection techniques in the form of interviews, tests, observation and documentation. Qualitative data analysis techniques used Miles & Huberman with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion, while quantitative analysis used descriptive statistics. The results showed that body exercise could improve the students' ability to dance based on wiraga elements with an average value of 3.87 and a percentage of 98.5%, elements of wirama with an average value of 3.1 and a percentage of 62%, and elements of wirasa with a value average 3.7 and a percentage of 74%. This research can be continued with the implementation of other dance activities to improve the students' dance abilities, and it can also be done using other research methods.

Abstract

The results of learning dance are an important part of dance learning activities. The results of students 'dance knowledge learning show the extent to which students' understanding and insight into dance knowledge. Various kinds of learning methods are applied to achieve maximum learning outcomes, one of which is the application of the course review horay method. The purpose of this study was to analyze the process and results of the application of the course review horay method to improve the learning outcomes of the 7th grade students of junior high school dance knowledge in Jakarta. This study used a Classroom Action Research method which was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle having 4 steps, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques through questionnaires, tests, interviews, and observations. The qualitative data analysis technique used the Miles & Haberman model with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. While the quantitative analysis uses descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that student learning outcomes increased with an average value in the first cycle of cognitive abilities that was 62.78 (55.56%), and the second cycle obtained an average value of 75.97 (77.78). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the learning outcomes of dance knowledge can be increased by applying the course review horay method. The implication of this research is that the learning outcomes of dance knowledge can be influenced by other factors so that the next research can be continued by using other factors that can improve the learning outcomes of dance knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between students' perceptions of teacher teaching methods and learning independence on learning outcomes in the XI Semester 1 class of Arts and Culture at Tangerang N 13 High School. This research method uses quantitative types with correlational analysis techniques. The sampling technique used in this study was Simple Random Sampling, with a total sample of 38 students taken at random. Data collection techniques in the research instrument using a questionnaire and performance evaluation. The results of this study indicate 1) there is a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions of teaching methods of teachers towards learning outcomes in Cultural Arts subjects of 76.2%, with (r) 0.762, 2) there is a significant positive relationship between learning independence of learning outcomes in subjects Art and Culture by 76.3%, with (r) 0.763, 3) there is a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions of the teaching methods of teachers on learning independence in Art and Culture subjects by 75.0%, with (r) 0.750, 4) There is a significant positive relationship between students' perceptions about the teaching methods of teachers and learning independence of Art and Culture learning outcomes by 83.6%. The magnitude of the Correlation coefficient (r) of 0.836.

Abstract

This paper describes the results of research to improve students' creativity in making dance movements through the application of an environmental learning model, for class X students in physical exercise learning at SMK Negeri 57 Jakarta. The goal is to increase data on student creativity improvement. This research was conducted using the Classroom Action Research method and took place from September to December 2019, with a cycle of planning, observation, and reflection. Data obtained by observation, interview and questionnaire techniques. The results of this study indicate that creativity in students' dance is 70.83 (63.88%) from the average in the first cycle, and 88.5 (91.66%) from the average in the second cycle.

Abstract

The purpose of the Dance Works aimed to Representation the Leadership of Patih Gajah Mada in Leading the Bhayangkara force into the form of TANDYA dance works.This dance work entitled "Tandya" which used Methods of Construction 1–8 Jacqueline Mary Smith-Autard in his book entitled Dance Composition (A practical guide to creative success in dancing making); Stimuli for dance, Motif into Composition, Motif into Composition for a group, The dance form, Elements of Construction, Style, Improvisation in the process of composition, Alternative and experimental approaches in dance composition.. The process in manifesting dance works through idea searching, dance stimulation, eksploration, improvisation, formation, evaluation selection and sublety. Dance Works enriches the treasury of the East Javanese style Motifs, which comes from Malang style and Bayuwangi style. motif east javanese traditions which is given variations to the subject of the motion,among others:Tanjak Putra Gagah became developed into Tanjak Pengkor, Ukel is developed into a Ukel ngeruji, Laku Nyiji is developed into Laku Ngawang . ulap-ulap developed into ulap-ulap Naga, Cangkah Paju, and Ngeber Kerep. TANDYA's dance works were performed on Tuesday, 9 July 2019 at the Plaza of the Jakarta State University with the duration of 31:03 minutes.

Abstract

This study aims to collect data regarding the characteristics of distance learning in Betawi Basic dance learning, perceptions for dance students at UNJ. This research was a descriptive survey research. The sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling, with the number of research 50 students of the 2020 Dance Education Study Program who were taken randomly. The data collection technique for research instruments used Google forms to determine the characteristics of distance learning in Betawi dance learning by measuring the students’ perceptions. Analysis of the data used to test the relationship between indicators was the Pearson correlation analysis. The results obtained for this study indicated that the characteristics of distance learning were measured through students’ perceptions. Based on this research, it can be concluded that students of the Betawi Basic dance subject in the Dance Education Study Program of the State University of Jakarta have a high perception of the characteristics of distance learning, only have a deficiency in enrichment which only has 57%.The existence of this research can help students to know and understand the characteristics better of distance learning before starting the lesson, in order to maximize their abilities and attitudes in the upcoming learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the learning process of Sirih Kuning dance to the XUPW students in SMK N 27 Jakarta as well as to describe the results obtained after learning Sirih Kuning dance online. The research method is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, literature study, and document study. Data analysis techniques used Miles and Huberman in the form of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The data validity technique used triangulation technique by checking and matching the data that had been obtained from the interview with the observed data. The results of this study showed that online learning-based dance learning could run smoothly if it used the right platform. Students looked more active and enthusiastic during dance lessons using the zoom and whatsapp platforms. The use of this platform helped students establish interactions during learning activities. The demonstration method helped students to better understood the material being taught, while the drill method helped students to be more independent in absorbing the material by means of practice.

Miftahus Sangadah. 2021. Learning Motivation in Distance Learning for Traditional Dance Practices. Thesis, Dance Education. Faculty of Language and Art. The State University of Jakarta. The results of the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test analysis of the residual value of 116 students of 0.767 are greater than α = 0.05, so it can be concluded that the research variables used are normally distributed. The correlation test between the five indicators shows that they are interrelated with a significance value of 0.000. The indicator with the highest correlation value is interest and sharpness of attention in learning with independent indicators in learning of 0.615 **. The indicator with the lowest correlation value is the indicator of resilience in facing difficulties with the indicator of achievement in learning 0.256 **. Distance learning which is applied in the Dance Education Study Program of the State University of Jakarta is online learning which is carried out using learning applications and social networks. The influence of learning motivation in distance learning on traditional dance practice courses at the Jakarta State University Dance Education Study Program is in the medium category with a percentage of 40.52%.

Abstract

Dance cinema is a term used as a result of the work of Dance Production students at the STKIP PGRI Banjarmasin Dance Education Study Program during the pandemic. This qualitative research aims to describe the problems that arise in the Dance Production course and describe dance cinema as an alternative solution to dance production during the pandemic. The data were collected using interview, observation, documentation, and literature study techniques and analyzed to produce descriptive data. The results show that the pandemic period is a major problem and affects the learning system, the concept of dance production, and its distribution. Learning is usually done face-to-face and the results are presented in person, during a pandemic both cannot be done. The alternative solution chosen was to produce three dance cinemas with a blended learning process. The dance cinema entitled Tamula Gunung Hantanung, Manyingkai Pangambangan, and Darau Purun (Bersama Purun) is packaged in an online show. Shown live streaming on the YouTube channel Apm Production21 on 5,6, 7 March 2021 at 20.00 WITA. The highest number of dance cinema shows has reached 9000 views. This shows a positive response from the community towards the work. So that the choice of dance cinema as an alternative solution is considered effective and efficient during the pandemic, and can even be followed up in the short and long term.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the relationship between emotional intelligence and self-efficacy in Students in Learning Surakarta Style Gunungsari Dance Practice at Students of the Dance Education Study Program, Faculty of Language and Arts, State University of Jakarta. This study used survey quantitative research method. The results The results of the study are as follows: 1) There is no relationship between emotional intelligence and self-confidence in learning the Surakarta style Gunungsari dance practice with a correlation coefficient of 0.251 with a low degree of correlation; 2) the value of is 0.063 or 6.3%; 3) sig value 0.166> 0.05; 4) value is 1.421 <t table 2.042. it can be concluded that the variable (X) emotional intelligence has no effect on self-confidence (Y), because it only gives a significance of 6.3%. While the remaining 93.7% is influenced by other factors outside the emotional intelligence variable. The results of this study were obtained with the conditions of online learning during the COVID-19 pandemic. So it can be concluded that the hypothesis is rejected.
