Abstract

Kopi Janji Jiwa Samarinda is a coffee company that currently uses the Instagram application as a medium to promote its sales and also a tool to establish relationships with customers. One of the things that is still a problem is how it can maintain and increase its involvement between the use of Instagram media and customers of Janji Jiwa Samarinda coffee. The purpose of this study is to find out more about the use of Instagram media which is a form of promotion to sell products from Janji Jiwa Samarinda coffee and involve customers, because almost every business that promotes on Instagram certainly needs to involve customers. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method, data collection techniques conducted by researchers are through interviews, observation, and documentation. The primary data sources of this research are Kevin Candra Liandry as a content creator and Irfan Fadilah as the Main Manager as well as supporting sources from Dina's customers, and for secondary data in the form of documents from Kopi Janji Jiwa Samarinda. Based on the results of the research, the use of Instagram media has an influence in increasing customer engagement with the help of the theory of Strauss & Frost which states that there are 3 important pillars, namely: content engagement, media engagement, engagement marketing activities, as well as the 4C Theory by Chris Heuer which also supports this analysis with four main elements: context, communication, collaboration, connection. According to the results of the research, the three pillars can be manifested well, as in the first pillar shows the use of Instagram features utilizing comments, stories, and instant messaging features and the use of language that is easy to understand. Then the second pillar utilizes the most effective media, namely Instagram as the main media in involving its customers. The last pillar is well utilized such as providing promos, inviting customers to play quizzes, give away, mini games and also being consistent in uploading photos, videos, and stories. Through all these pillars and elements, Janji Jiwa Samarinda coffee has succeeded in maximizing customer engagement and maintaining their loyalty through interesting and consistent content on Instagram social media.

Abstract

DK TOU Variasi is a business that offers and serves maintenance services and sells car variation tools. DK TOU Variation wants to develop its business in the era of information technology. Therefore, as a solution, the first step is to create a UI/UX design. In designing a mobile application, UI / UX is one of the main factors so that users are comfortable when using the application. One of the tools that can be used in the UI/UX design process is Figma. Figma itself is an online prototyping platform that can be used to design UI/UX for a web or mobile application. User centered design is a suitable method in making UI/UX, this method will interact directly with the user so that it can find out the wishes of the user.

Abstract

As a fast, economical and efficient transportation alternative, air transportation is the only alternative for inter-island and inter-regional transportation. Air transportation itself has Air Traffic or flight traffic which must be obeyed by all vehicles on the ground and in the air such as commercial airplanes, helicopters and the like. This research aims to investigate the role of communication in managing the Air Traffic Controller (ATC) workload in maintaining flight traffic safety at AirNav Indonesia Palembang Branch. Increasingly dense and complex air traffic requires effective coordination and communication between ATC and aircraft pilots to prevent incidents and accidents. The research method uses a qualitative approach involving in-depth interviews with ATC, observations at the air traffic control center, and analysis of related documents. The results of this research reveal that good communication between ATC and pilots is very important in maintaining flight safety. ATCs must manage their workload carefully, including managing communications as diverse as voice communications, text messages, and radar data. Additionally, factors such as time pressure, fatigue, and stress also influence ATC communications. Workload management and good training to improve ATC communication capabilities are necessary. This study also provides recommendations for developing policies and best practices in optimizing ATC communications in maintaining flight safety at AirNav Indonesia Palembang Branch.

Abstract

The South Sumatra Regional People's Representative Council is a regional people's representative institution that is domiciled as an element of regional government administration in the province of South Sumatra. Currently, the process of hearing schedule information at the South Sumatra provincial DPRD office still uses conventional methods such as direct submission of the unit that provides requests for hearings or internal activities, after that the requests will be processed and invitations to session meetings are then distributed. Therefore, it can be overcome by proposing a system, namely the firebase push notification feature or firebase cloud messaging. Firebase cloud messaging is a form of service provided on Google to send a message or notification to customers through a browser or smartphone. The purpose of this study is to build a hearing schedule notification information system in the South Sumatra Provincial DPRD to make it easier for DPRD members to find out information about the trial and get notification of the session schedule on the members' cellphones. This app is designed and built by leveraging Firebase Cloud Messaging by narrating push notifications. This system is expected to be able to manage notifications every time there is a new news update regarding the time and agenda of the trial, as well as provide convenience to members of the DPRD to find out information about the trial.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the dynamics of communication implementation by the Directorate General of Islamic Community Guidance, Ministry of Religion, in the management of mosques in Kisaran City. Based on the Decree of the Director General of Islamic Community Guidance Number DJ.II/802 of 2014 concerning Mosque Management Development Standards This research is qualitative with a descriptive approach. This research data was obtained from two main sources: primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from a collection of data obtained directly through observations of natural phenomena in the research object. Meanwhile, secondary data is obtained through supporting information obtained indirectly, especially from literature and documents that are relevant to the research context. Data collection in this research used non-participant observation techniques. The data obtained will then be processed and analyzed through a process of reduction, presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that the implementation of communication by the Directorate General of Islamic Community Guidance (Bimas Islam) of the Ministry of Religion plays a central role in maintaining and enhancing the strategic role of mosques as centers of religious and social activities in Kisaran City. This implementation process involves establishing conceptual understanding, introducing policies, continuous reporting and evaluation, providing incentives, cultural adaptation, and collaboration with various related entities. Effective communication plays a role in overcoming challenges, ensuring sustainable mosque management, and accelerating the achievement of mosque management development standards. This allows the mosque to continue to play a central role as a center for religious and social activities that contribute to the sustainable development of the Muslim community in Kisaran City.

Abstract

This research aims to build a web-based KORPRI ASN compensation service information system for retired and deceased employees within the Ogan Komering Ilir District Government. This information system is a tool for presenting information in such a way that it is useful for the recipient through the services available in this system. The research material that will be used by the author includes employee data and compensation proposal data for KORPRI ASN retired and deceased in 2022. In this new system analysis, a web-based information system will be built that is used to minimize errors in recording KORPRI compensation data, so that can improve services and make reports faster and more accurate and for employees to make it easier to submit without having to come directly to the KORPRI service unit by applying the waterfall method which includes four stages, namely analysis, design, implementation and testing. This web-based information system was developed using PHP and MySQL.

Abstract

The growth of the Internet has brought about significant changes in how we store data. Common data storage media include hard disks, flash drives, and CDs. With the advancement of technology, cloud storage has emerged as a new alternative in the world of storage. In this regard, two leading cloud storage platforms, Owncloud and Nextcloud, have evolved into popular options. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the level of High Availability and reliability of Owncloud and Nextcloud cloud storage platforms. This is accomplished by conducting load testing and simulating failure scenarios to assess the platforms' ability to ensure data access during disruptions and enhance performance under high loads. The research methodology used is the Network Development LifeCycle (NDLC). The software employed as the operating system is Ubuntu Server 20.04, and for web server load testing, Netdata and Nagios are used to monitor the system. The results of this research provide comprehensive information on the high availability and reliability of Owncloud and Nextcloud cloud storage platforms in modern computing environments.

Abstract

Network Attached Storage (NAS) is a data storage device that operates through a computer network and provides an efficient and cost-effective storage solution due to its open-source foundation. This research compares the performance of TrueNAS and XigmaNAS as NAS operating systems in terms of data transfer speed and resource utilization over a period of 7 days. The tested parameters include file copy, file classification, file duplicate detection, CPU usage, and memory usage. The research results indicate that the average file transfer speed from server to client in TrueNAS is 7.4 Mbps, while in XigmaNAS it is 7.36 Mbps. The average file classification rate in TrueNAS is 863 files/s, whereas in XigmaNAS it is 813 files/s. The average speed of duplicate file detection in TrueNAS is 1.23 files/s, while in XigmaNAS it is 1.13 files/s. The average CPU usage in TrueNAS is 30.08%, compared to 29.38% in XigmaNAS. The average available memory for TrueNAS is 6.13 GiB, and for XigmaNAS it is 5.41 GiB. Despite the small variations and differences observed in the test results, overall, TrueNAS outperforms XigmaNAS in the analyzed aspects.

Abstract

The Independent Campus programme, which allows students to take courses outside their programme of study and participate in activities outside the university, has experienced rapid growth. However, this growth brings a number of challenges, such as increased data volume, high service demands, and IT infrastructure complexity. The performance and responsiveness of IT services is also a concern, given users' expectations for fast performance. Effective customer support is also required to ensure a satisfactory user experience. To address these issues, an analysis of information technology (IT) management using the ITIL V3 framework in the Service Operation domain was conducted. The results of the analysis show that incident management, service requests, problems, access, and service operations can be improved through the implementation of ITIL. It helps improve operational efficiency, reduce the impact of incidents and problems, accelerate request fulfilment, maintain access security, and improve the quality and availability of IT services. The implementation of ITIL V3 is an important step in supporting the success of the Kampus Merdeka Programme in providing better access to education for students in Indonesia. Thus, the implementation of ITIL V3 is an important step in supporting the success of the Merdeka Campus Programme in providing better access to education for students in Indonesia.

Abstract

The New Student Admission Program (PPDB) is an annual program at MTS Miftahul Huda Tegal Sari. Previously, the new student admission process was done manually, requiring physical visits to the school to fill out registration forms and gather information. This was not effective. Therefore, this research has created an online system for new student admissions. Using the waterfall method, data was collected through observations, interviews, and literature studies. The result is a web-based PPDB information system using the CodeIgniter framework, which simplifies the admission process for prospective students and schools. This system is expected to assist the PPDB committee in managing new student data more effectively and efficiently. Information technology-based PPDB has great potential to enhance the management of the student admission process in schools.
