Abstract

The graves of public figures have magnetism and historical and religious value which can be an attraction in itself. This research uses a descriptive qualitative research method with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews with people who are selected to then become informants based on their competence in knowledge of objects in religious locations in Danawarih Village. KH. Hasyim Djamhari and KH. Abror Djamhari is an important figure in religious, social and organizational history, the graves of these two community figures certainly have high historical and spiritual value. Therefore, the potential for religious tourism destinations is certainly very potential, but this potential has not been fully exploited as an attraction for many people because not many people know these two figures except those who are involved in the organizational realm. This research aims to introduce these two figures through revitalizing the graves, inviting the public to revive their history and struggles and jointly protect and maintain the sites of these two figures. Revitalization of graves can be done by providing historical information. Through this research, it can be concluded that revitalizing the graves of community leaders can be an effective strategy in developing local tourism and can later attract tourists to make pilgrimages.

Abstract

Tuberculosis is a disease caused by the bacteria Mycobacterium Tuberculosis. Transmission occurs when sufferers talk, cough, sneeze or spit carelessly, which allows bacteria to spread into the air, then enter the body through the respiratory tract and spread to various other organs. Currently, Indonesia is in second place in the world after India, with an estimated number of TB cases of 1,060,000 and 134,000 deaths each year. Tegal Regency is one of the areas with a high caseload. The number of drug sensitive TB (SO) cases found in 2023 will reach 5,088 cases. The Head of the Department of Health said that collaboration on TB control must be carried out in an integrated manner by Forkopimda, OPD, academics, NGOs, mass organizations and the media in Tegal Regency, in order to accelerate the elimination of TB. So, as a form of participation in supporting government programs in accelerating the elimination of TB, IBN Tegal KKN students and DPL made breakthrough innovations in an effort to educate the public, prevent and treat TB by launching the digital application "Healthy Together Against TB". Community service through KKN activities is carried out using the ABCD method. The findings state that this innovation provides benefits: 1) Education on TB prevention and treatment as well as reporting to health workers that is easily accessible even in remote areas; 2) Medication reminder feature for TB patients; 3) Ease for health workers in recording, storing and updating patient data.

Abstract

The community service program for UMKM Gethuk Frozen ‘Sri Gethuk’ in Watuaji Village, Keling District, Jepara Regency, was carried out through halal certification and packaging innovation as a strategy to strengthen the competitiveness of local products. This program was motivated by the limited access of the UMKM to modern markets due to the lack of halal certification and the use of simple packaging. The aim of the service is to enhance product legality, quality, and attractiveness through a participatory problem-solving approach. Implementation methods included field observation, halal certification socialization and education, guidance in document preparation, facilitation of certification by the service team, packaging design development, and monitoring and evaluation. Results indicate that with active facilitation, the UMKM successfully obtained halal certification, improved packaging quality to be more appealing and informative, and implemented better production standards. The program’s impact is evident in increased consumer trust, expanded market access, and improved internal capacity of the UMKM. Thus, this program successfully strengthens the competitiveness of local products and empowers the UMKM sustainably.
