Abstract

Kesadaran masyarakat kecamatan Dukuhwaru tentang perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat perlu ditingkatkan. Hal ini terlihat pada perilaku Masyarakat kecamatan Dukuhwaru yang membuang sampah tidak pada tempatnya dan belum bisa memilah serta mengolah sampah dengan baik. Oleh karena itu, kami melakukan pendekatan kepada masyarakat kecamatan Dukuhwaru melalui kegiatan sosialisasi PHBS.  Hasil dari kegiatan sosialisasi PHBS adalah meningkatnya kesadaran Masyarakat tentang kepedulian terhadap perilaku hidup bersih dan sehat di lingkungan. Selain itu pelatihan pemilahan dan pengelolahan sampah ini menghasilkan ecoenzyme yang bisa dimanfaatkan oleh Masyarakat.

Abstract

TPQ Al Mahri is a religious education institution which has an important role in shaping the character and spiritual intelligence of children in Pedagangan Village, Dukuhwaru District, Tegal Regency. However, in recent years, TPQ Al Mahri has faced challengers in terms of infrastructure, curriculum, and community involvement in managing TPQ, which has been in a vacuum for three years. This study aims to explore the condition of TPQ Al Mahri which has been experiencing problems in the teaching and curriculum sectors. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with various parties related to TPQ Al Mahri, participant observation, and document analysis. The results of the research show that with the presence of IBN Tegal KKN students, TPQ Al Mahri is revitalized so that teaching and learning activities run well and all of this cannot be separated from improving infrastructure, increasing the quality of curriculum, as well as strengthening the involvement of the trading village community through participatory programs. With the revitalization of IBN Tegal KKN students, it is hoped that TPQ Al Mahri can generation with noble character and broad knowledge in the Islamic religion.

Abstract

In every region there are always things that are characteristic of that region. Slarang Lor is famous for its characteristic, namely the Endel Dance, because the creator of the Endel Dance comes from Slarang Lor Village. Many people from various groups want to learn and practice Endel Dance, such as elementary school, middle school, high school children and others. Endel Dance is included in the type of traditional folk dance, because it was created by the local community in Slarang Lor Village. The endel dance was created from generation to generation from ancient ancestors, but in Slarang Lor we are not really familiar with the meaning and movements of the endel dance itself. Therefore, with the hope that the Endel mask dance can be better known and can be learned about the meaning, movements and how to maintain the Endel dance so that it does not disappear as a characteristic of the area.

Abstract

As a village rich in regional arts, Kabunan often sends its art groups to be displayed to the general public. The art inherent in the Kabunan village community is kuntulan art. Kuntulan art itself is an art that combines the Javanese art of flying music and the martial art of pencak silat. The art of kuntulan in Kabunan village is very embedded with the proven achievements of kuntulan art in Kabunan village at the district level. The potential for Kuntulan art to be passed on to children and grandchildren is enormous. However, some people don't understand the art of kuntulan and many don't know that in Kabunan village there is village potential, especially legendary traditional art. This is the key to the development of kuntulan art. Thus maintaining the existential value of kuntulan art. Until now, Kuntulan art is still often performed at large events. Only accompanied by Javanese flying and silat movements which are the aesthetic value of this traditional art. Therefore, we are students from a group of 12 villages in Kabunan sub-district. Dukuhwaru introduced the art of kuntulan to the wider community through interviews with the head of the kuntulan and the members who follow him. The suggestion for our activity aims to expand knowledge about kuntulan dance and introduce kuntulan art in Kabunan village.

Abstract

Rudat sindang art is a local cultural heritage only owned by Sindang Village Dukuhwaru District Tegal Regency is currently facing challenges existential and requires real efforts to restore it. This dedication explores efforts to save this art through the application of an Aset-Based Community Development (ABCD) inthe context of activities Community Service (PKM). The main focus of PKM this is a book on Rudat dance art, which includes complete documentation of songs and dance movements traditional. The ABCD approach is used to identify and mobilize community assets that can contribute to saving the art of Rudat Sindang. Analysis a (Asset) highlighting the potential of local artists’ expertise, knowledge traditional, and community support as the main aset. Through Analysis B (Building), collaboration is formed between government, cultural institutions, and society, to building a strong foundation for this rescue effort. Bookkeeping of Rudat dance art has bocome a concrete product of  PKM activities. Complete documentation about songs and Rudat dance movements not only function as an important archive, but also as an educational tool that can be accessed by wide community. By involving the community in the process bookkeeping, these efforts also strengthen social engagement in preserving traditional arts. It is hoped that the results of this activity will provide guidance practical for local communities and related parties in preparing strategy to save Rudat Sindang art. As a product it is hoped that the bookkeeping of Rudat dance arts will be concrete play a key role in strengthening cultural identity, preserving traditional heritage, and creating continuity in the practice of Rudat Sindang dance.

Abstract

The waste is a global issue that never ends to be discussed. Every day humans produce waste because waste never exists if it does not go through the consumption process. Similarly, the existence of waste in Gumayun village, Dukuhwaru sub-district, is still lacking attention. Based on the results of initial observations made by IBN KKN students, there is still a lot of organic and inorganic waste in the Gumayun village environment. The purpose of this service activity is to make Gumayun villagers aware of waste and care about a clean environment and invite villagers to manage household waste into solid and liquid organic fertilizers which can later be used in agriculture. In this service activity, several activity methods were used, namely observation, planning, preparation of tools and materials, and socialization methods. The result of this activity is Gumayun villagers understand how to manage waste into something useful such as making solid and liquid compost. The community has also begun to realize waste and care about a clean environment. They also think that this activity is the right solution to the problem of handling waste that they have faced for a long time. Keywords: Household Waste, Solid and Liquid Organic Fertilizer, Gumayun Village   Abstrak Sampah merupakan isu global yang tak kunjung habis untuk dibahas. Setiap hari manusia memproduksi sampah karena sampah tidak pernah ada jika tidak melalui proses konsumsi. Demikian pula keberadaan sampah di desa Gumayun kecamatan Dukuhwaru masih kurang diperhatikan. Berdasarkan hasil observasi awal yang telah dilakukan oleh mahasiswa KKN IBN bahwa masih banyak limbah sampah organik dan anorganik di lingkungan desa Gumayun. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini yaitu agar masyarakat desa Gumayun sadar sampah dan peduli akan lingkungan bersih serta mengajak masyarakat desa untuk mengelola limbah rumah tangga menjadi pupuk organik padat dan cair yang kelak dapat dimanfaatkan dalam bidang pertanian. Dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini menggunakan beberapa metode kegiatan yaitu metode observasi, perencanaan, persiapan alat dan bahan, dan sosialisasi. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah masyarakat desa Gumayun mengerti cara mengelola sampah menjadi sesuatu yang bermanfa’at seperti pembuatan pupuk kompos padat dan cair. Masyarakat juga sudah mulai sadar sampah dan peduli dengan lingkungan bersih. Mereka juga berpendapat bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan solusi tepat dari masalah penanganan sampah yang sudah mereka hadapi sejak lama.

Abstract

Artikel ini membahas peran pelatihan jurnalistik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi remaja. Dalam konteks perkembangan digital yang pesat, literasi informasi dan media menjadi keterampilan penting bagi remaja untuk menavigasi dunia yang penuh informasi. Pelatihan jurnalistik, sebagai metode pendidikan, menawarkan pendekatan praktis yang memadukan teori dan praktik jurnalistik. Dengan melibatkan remaja dalam kegiatan seperti penulisan berita, wawancara, dan penelitian, pelatihan ini berpotensi memperkuat keterampilan literasi mereka, termasuk analisis kritis dan kemampuan komunikasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus dari beberapa program pelatihan jurnalistik untuk mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap literasi remaja. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan jurnalistik dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan keterampilan literasi remaja, memfasilitasi pemahaman yang lebih baik tentang media, dan membekali mereka dengan keterampilan yang relevan untuk masa depan mereka. Artikel ini menyimpulkan bahwa integrasi pelatihan jurnalistik dalam kurikulum pendidikan dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap perkembangan literasi remaja.

Abstract

PAUD teachers need to have a deep understanding of child development and be able to measure children's developmental achievements objectively. One instrument that is often used to measure children's developmental achievements is summative assessment. One of the main challenges in PAUD education is carrying out appropriate assessments to measure and report children's development holistically. This community service implementation activity aims to assist in making a summary assessment as a report on student learning outcomes at PAUD institutions. The implementation method consists of the preparation, implementation, and follow-up stages. Participants in this training are the PAUD teacher learning community in Madiun district, East Java. The results of the service implementation show that the teacher-learning community is aware of reporting student learning outcomes through summative assessments and the components therein. Able to create independently and carry out assessments. Summative assessment provides an overview and teacher feedback on students.

Abstract

Focuses on the importance of Al-Qur'an education as a basis for forming children's moral and intellectual character, as well as the challenges faced by the Al-Qur'an Education Park (TPQ) in maintaining children's interest in religious studies amidst the influence of the modern world and urbanization. This research aims to increase interest and skills in reading the Al-Qur'an at TPQ Jam'iyatul Qurra', Banyuanyar, Probolinggo, through the application of the Qiro'ati method. This method has proven to be effective in teaching reading the Koran correctly and creating a pleasant learning experience for students. The research was carried out using a community service approach, involving children aged 2 to 7 years and over. The results show a significant increase in understanding and skills in Al-Qur'an tartil, as well as motivating parents to be more active in enrolling their children in TPQ. The application of this method also supports the memorization of the letters of the Qur'an, making it a strategy that has the potential to be applied in other educational institutions to increase interest in learning the Qur'an on an ongoing basis.

Abstract

Smartphones represent a prominent form of information and communication technology, widely adopted due to their convenience, sophistication, and connectivity to the internet. Children, as users of smartphones, face potential negative consequences stemming from their use of these devices. It is essential for parents, who are the closest individuals to their children, to possess adequate knowledge regarding the management and supervision of smartphone usage to mitigate adverse effects. Google Family Link is an application that can help parents monitor and control their children's smartphone usage. Training and guidance on this application can be provided to support parents in supervision and control. Through this training, it is hoped that parents can understand and use the Google Family Link application well. These guidance and training activities are expected to provide significant benefits for mothers.
