Abstract

This study aims to examine the internalization of anti-sexual violence education as a preventive strategy against risky sexual behavior among adolescents. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design to explore deeply the implementation process, strategies, and impacts within educational settings. Data were collected through observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using data condensation, data display, and verification techniques. The findings reveal that the internalization process, carried out through habituation, role modeling, and reinforcement, significantly enhances students’ awareness of personal boundaries, improves social interactions, and strengthens their ability to avoid risky behavior. In addition, supportive school environments and teacher involvement play crucial roles in the effectiveness of this process, although cultural barriers remain challenges. The study implies that integrating cognitive, affective, and behavioral dimensions in education is essential to achieve meaningful and sustainable behavioral change among adolescents, particularly in preventing sexual violence and promoting ethical conduct.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how learning culture is reconstructed through classical Islamic text literacy practices among early-generation students in modern Islamic boarding schools. It employs a qualitative case study design to gain an in-depth understanding of the phenomenon within its natural context. Data were collected through observations, in-depth interviews with teachers and students, and documentation, and were analyzed using data condensation, data display, and verification techniques. The findings reveal that the reconstruction of learning culture is achieved through the integration of traditional methods such as bandongan and sorogan with interactive and contextual learning approaches, supported by adaptive teacher roles and the use of learning media. These practices significantly improve students’ literacy skills, participation, and confidence in engaging with classical texts. The study implies that combining traditional Islamic scholarship with modern pedagogical strategies can enhance the relevance and effectiveness of pesantren education.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implications of cooperative learning through deliberation in enhancing the self-efficacy of Islamic students. Employing a qualitative case study design, the research involved selected students and teachers purposively to provide in-depth insights. Data were collected using multiple methods, including direct observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, supported by observation guides, interview protocols, and official records as instruments. Data were analyzed through an interactive model comprising data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, while validity was ensured through triangulation across different sources. The findings reveal that cooperative learning through deliberation has a significant positive impact on students’ self-efficacy, as indicated by enhanced confidence in expressing ideas, greater ability to understand and explain religious materials, improved collaborative skills, and more independent learning behaviors. These results suggest that deliberation as a cooperative learning strategy fosters an interactive, supportive, and psychologically empowering learning environment, contributing to the holistic development of students’ cognitive and emotional capacities.

Abstract

Scholars of hadith from the Salaf period generally preferred hadiths with a minimal number of narrators in the isnad, known as 'ālī hadiths. This preference was partly due to the reduction of potential distortion in transmission associated with fewer narrators. It is evident that the 'ālī isnad was regarded as significant by hadith scholars during the early period. However, the importance of the 'ālī isnad following the codification of hadith has not been sufficiently examined. This study aims to ascertain whether the 'ālī isnad retained any significance after the period of hadith codification, with particular attention to the ninth century. Focusing on the work of Ibn Hajar al-Ahādīth al-‘Ashrah al-‘Ushāriyyah, this research endeavors to demonstrate the high status attributed to the chain of narration within that text, as asserted by the author. By tracing contemporary reports (tābi’ and shāhid) related to the hadiths included by Ibn Hajar, it is possible to reconstruct the attitudes of scholars in the ninth century towards high chains (‘ālī). Consequently, this study aims to reveal the perception of high chains during that period, both theoretically and practically. Furthermore, the research indicates that the transmission of hadiths persisted even when not all were documented in written sources, in contrast to practices observed in earlier periods

Abstract

This study maps the development of scientific research on customer interest in Islamic banking through a bibliometric analysis. The method is quantitative and descriptive, using Publish or Perish to collect data from Google Scholar and VOSviewer to analyse it. Research data were obtained from the Google Scholar database using the keyword “customer interest in Islamic banks” and a publication date range of 2015–2025, with a maximum of 500 articles. Bibliographic data were then processed in Microsoft Excel and visualised in VOSviewer to identify patterns of relationships between keywords, research trends, and emerging topic clusters. The results show that research on Islamic bank customers' interest has developed alongside increasing attention to factors such as religiosity, service quality, Islamic financial literacy, digital innovation, and trust in Islamic financial institutions. In addition, bibliometric visualisation reveals several clusters of research themes that illustrate the relationships among customer behaviour, digital technology, and Sharia principles. This study provides an overview of the development of academic research on customers' interest in Islamic banks and identifies opportunities for further research in Islamic banking in Indonesia.

Abstract

Indonesia, as a diverse society, has the potential for conflict if that diversity is not managed with a strong commitment to tolerance. This study aims to describe tolerance education strategies based on local wisdom and analyze the supporting and inhibiting factors in urban communities in the Karang Bata Utara environment, Mataram City. The research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, with informants consisting of community leaders, religious figures, traditional leaders, youth, and local residents. The results show that tolerance education primarily occurs not through formal institutions but through social processes in daily life. Three main strategies were identified: role modeling by community leaders, the use of public spaces as social learning media, and the involvement of youth in social-religious activities. Local wisdom practices such as mutual cooperation (gotong royong), deliberation (musyawarah), helping each other (ngejot), and attending condolences (melayat) serve as concrete means to instill tolerant values. The success of these strategies is supported by strong local values, active roles of community leaders, the intensity of social interactions, and youth involvement. However, there are also inhibiting factors such as exclusive attitudes, family environment influences, low digital literacy, alcohol consumption, and the dynamics of interfaith marriages. This research emphasizes that local wisdom serves not only as cultural heritage but also as an educational mechanism for shaping and maintaining tolerance in urban communities.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the charity program as a philanthropic practice in shaping students' social awareness at SD Negeri Gunung Sekar 1, Sampang. This research is motivated by the importance of developing a caring social character among elementary school students amid declining empathy and social concern in children. The study uses a qualitative, phenomenological approach to understand students' experiences and perceptions of charity activities conducted within the school environment. The research subjects include the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, homeroom teachers, and students from grades 4 to 6. Data collection was carried out through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The results show that charity activities are carried out regularly through the Jum'at Religi program, which involves all students in sharing activities and other social activities. The practice of charity is not only a religious activity but also a means of fostering social habits that cultivate empathy, sharing, and helping behaviors among students. Direct experience in charity activities helps students understand charity as both an act of worship and a form of concern for others. Additionally, charitable activities play a role in building a culture of social awareness within the school environment, resulting in better social relationships among students and increased concern for others

Abstract

This study analyzes the practice of unsolicited goods in Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions on the TikTok Shop platform, focusing on dispute resolution methods for such cases. This issue reflects the inconvenience consumers face in e-commerce transactions. This study aims to provide a thorough overview of legal protections for consumers in unsolicited goods transactions conducted via COD without the consumer's consent or through fictitious orders. This research employs a normative method, using a literature review and interviews with consumers currently experiencing cases of unsolicited goods. The study finds that unsolicited goods delivered through COD transactions violate consumer rights because consumers are compelled to accept and pay for goods they never ordered. Under Indonesian positive law, such practices conflict with Law No. 8 of 1999 on Consumer Protection, Government Regulation No. 80 of 2019 on Electronic Commerce, and regulations concerning electronic information and personal data protection. In Islamic law, the practice is invalid because it lacks mutual consent (ridha), contains elements of gharar and tadlis, and may be classified as an akad fudhuli, which is not binding without the consumer's approval. The study also shows that liability is shared among sellers, platforms, and, to a limited extent, couriers, although platforms may bear stronger responsibility due to their role as transaction facilitators. This research concludes that stronger regulation, platform supervision, consumer education, and digital literacy are needed to ensure legal certainty and protect consumers from unsolicited goods in COD transactions.

Abstract

Premarital medical testing represents a critical yet underregulated aspect of Islamic family law in Indonesia. This study examines the urgency of premarital medical testing from the perspective of Maqasid al-Shari'ah, addressing three research questions: Why is premarital medical testing necessary? What is the urgency of such testing for prospective spouses? And how does premarital medical testing align with the objectives of Maqasid al-Shari'ah? Using normative juridical methodology grounded in library research, this study analyzes Qur'anic verses, Prophetic traditions, classical fiqh texts, and Indonesian statutory sources. The findings reveal that premarital testing addresses four critical health risks: sexually transmitted infections (HIV/AIDS, syphilis, hepatitis), hereditary conditions (thalassemia 6-10% carrier rate), fertility-related conditions (10-15% couples affected), and maternal-infant mortality factors. The study demonstrates that premarital testing aligns directly with Maqasid al-Shari'ah, primarily serving hifz al-nafs (protection of life) and hifz al-nasl (protection of progeny), categorized at hajiyyat level within daruriyyat objectives. The practice is justified through sadd al-dhara'i' (blocking pathways to harm) and dar' al-mafasid (prevention of harm) principles. Current Indonesian regulation (Joint Instruction No. 02/1989) is inadequate, mandating only TT immunization for females. The study recommends comprehensive national regulation mandating screening for both genders, BPJS Kesehatan integration, training for KUA officials, and adoption of Muslim-majority country models. This research contributes novel insights through daruriyyat-versus-hajiyyat distinction, Indonesian empirical data, and wajib kifayah versus wajib 'ayn mediation.
