Abstract

The time token learning model is a type of learning characterized by time marks or time limits. Talking chips, namely learning carried out in small groups, each member brings several objects or signs that function to mark when they have an opinion by inserting a sign in one place. Flashcard media is visual learning media that contains words, images, or a combination thereof. This research compares geography learning outcomes using the Time Token learning model with the Talking Chips model assisted by Flashcard media for students at SMA Negeri 3 Kuala, Nagan Raya Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with a Quasi-Experimental Design type of research. The samples in this study were class X IPS 1 students as experimental class I and class X IPS 2 students as experiment II. Research data collection uses tests. Analysis of this research data uses normality, homogeneity and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of the data analysis, it is known that the data is regular and homogeneous. Furthermore, the hypothesis test results obtained a t count value of 2.268 > t table 1.671. Based on the t count and t table values, it is known that t count > t table so that Ha is accepted. So, it is concluded that the learning outcomes of students taught using the Time Token learning model assisted by Flashcard media are better than the learning outcomes of students taught using the Talking Chips learning model assisted by Flashcard media in class X geography subjects at SMA Negeri 3 Kuala, Nagan Raya Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the application of digital learning in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject at MAN 1 West Aceh using the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method of the Kemmis-Taggart model. The results of the study indicate that digital learning is learning that uses digital technology to convey material to students, which can be done by using devices such as computers, tablets, and smartphones, using online learning platforms, using educational applications using the internet to search for sources of information and present learning materials contextually and delivering audio-visual materials in the form of text, graphics, animations, or videos. Success of Digital Learning Student scores (blue) tends to be higher than scores (green), especially in the aspects of Average, Max, and Mean, indicating the effectiveness of the application of digital learning on student activity in the Al-Qur'an Hadith subject. In terms of Data Diversity, the Standard Deviation (Std) and Variance (Var) have small values, indicating that student learning outcomes are quite consistent, with little deviation between students. Meanwhile, in terms of value distribution, the maximum student value is very high, almost reaching 100%, indicating that there are students who are very active and involved. The value mode is also significant, indicating a consistent pattern of success in the majority of students and in terms of Score Gap and score values (green) have much smaller values than the values (blue) on each indicator. This shows that the value as a representation of final achievement is more prominent than the initial score or other indicators.

Abstract

This study examines the use of modern media in delivering political messages during the 2024 Banda Aceh regional election, focusing on the effectiveness of social media in influencing voter behaviour. In the digital era, social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube have replaced traditional methods in political campaigns. These platforms enable candidates to reach voters quickly and interactively. The research analyses how each candidate pair utilizes various modern media platforms to shape public opinion and encourage the community to vote for them in the election. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and literature review by examining and analyzing the modern media content used by each candidate pair. The findings indicate that each candidate selected platforms based on their target audience. Voter responses show that young voters are more attracted to creative content on social media such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X and YouTube. In contrast, for adult voters, political messages delivered through direct and traditional campaign media, such as billboards, flyers, banners, and similar media, were more effective. However, challenges such as the spread of misinformation and the accuracy of audience targeting remain significant factors affecting campaign effectiveness. The study concludes that modern media play an essential role in supporting the delivery of political messages by each candidate pair. Nonetheless, these emerging challenges require special attention to maximize their influence on voters.
