Abstract

The medical record installation must maintain medical records correctly and appropriately, including the return of medical records. According to the Ministry of Health (2006), the standard for returning inpatient medical records is ≤ 2x24 hours after completion of treatment. Meanwhile, the standard of service effectiveness in the form of time for providing outpatient medical records according to Kepmenkes number 129 of 2008 is ≤ 10 minutes. The purpose of the study was to determine the relationship between inpatient medical record return time and service effectiveness. The research method used is quantitative with a cross-sectional design. The population is 220 medical records of post-inpatient patients who are controlled outpatients at Ciremai Hospital during January 2022. The total sample is 145 using the Slovin formula with the purposive sampling technique. Univariate analysis using frequency distribution and bivariate analysis using the Spearman rank correlation test are used because the data is not normally distributed. The results show that the average time to return inpatient medical records is 115,86 hours, the fastest time is 24 hours, and the longest time is 360 hours. The average service effectiveness in the form of outpatient medical record provision was 222,26 minutes; the fastest time was 3 minutes; and the longest time was 710 minutes. The Spearman rank correlation coefficient is 0,418 with a p-value of 0,000 ≤ 0,05. The conclusion is that there is a relationship with moderate correlation strength between inpatient medical record return time and service effectiveness, with a value of 0,418.

Abstract

Coconut plant (Cocos nucifera Linn) is an annual plant that is most beneficial to the people of Indonesia, because almost all parts of the plant can be utilized and used for medicine and daily needs. Part of the coconut plant, namely coconut fiber which is considered as waste, can be used as an antibacterial agent because it contains tannin compounds or also called tannic acid which is a complex chemical compound consisting of several polyphenolic compounds which act as antibacterial and antiviral. The purpose of this study was to determine the antibacterial activity of coconut coir acetone extract (Cocos nucifera Linn) against the growth of Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria. The method used is disc diffusion (Kirby and Bauer test). Coconut coir powder (Cocos nucifera Linn) was macerated with acetone for 3 x 24 hours. Furthermore, the antibacterial test of coconut coir extract (Cocos nucifera Linn) was carried out against Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacteria. Chloramphenicol as a positive control and dimethyl sulfoxide (DMSO) was used as a negative control. The results of antibacterial activity that have been carried out show that coco coir extract (Cocos nucifera Linn) with a concentration of 60% is the highest concentration of inhibition zone diameter between 20% and 40% with an average inhibition zone diameter of 11.7 mm against Staphylococcus aureus bacteria and Escherichia coli and belongs to the category of strong sensitivity.

Abstract

The mortality rate of neonatal cases in Indonesia in 2021 reached 20,154 cases, the cause of death was dominated by diagnoses of Low Birth Weight, asphyxia, infections, and congenital abnormalities. In health care practice, the diagnosis of illness during treatment will be recorded in a medical record. The medical record will contain administrative and clinical data, one of which contains the diagnosis code and actions during treatment. The diagnosis code established in the medical record must be precise, accurate, and consistent in accordance with ICD-10. This study included a type of quantitative descriptive research with a sample of 222 infant medical records, the sample technique used was purposive sampling. The results showed that the coding process at Ciremai Hospital in Cirebon City was 100% electronic, where from 222 infant medical record documents there were 167 consistent diagnosis codes and 55 inconsistent diagnosis codes. This is caused by 2 things, namely improper diagnosis codes and improper code reselection. Thus, the determination of the diagnosis code for perinatal cases at Ciremai Hospital in Cirebon City in 2022 shows that the consistency of the diagnosis code of 75% or as many as 167 diagnosis codes is consistent.

Abstract

Breast milk production is a cumulative value based on what is seen and can be measured by the volume of milk a baby drinks for one day. The causes of decreased breast milk are consumption of drugs and hormonal disorders. To overcome the issue of decreased drain generation, lavender fragrance-based treatment can be done. The reason for this ponder was to decide the adequacy of giving lavender fragrance-based treatment to expand the sum of drain excretion in postpartum moms. This type of investigation is pre-experimental, with a number of pretest-posttest designs. Total sampling is a technique for sampling. The comes about appeared that the normal sum of breastfeeding time recently given fragrance-based treatment was 72.75. The minimum amount of breastfeeding in postpartum mothers is 60 cc and the maximum amount is 85 cc. After aromatherapy, the average amount of nursing in postpartum women is 100.25. Giving lavender aromatherapy is beneficial in raising milk production in postpartum moms, and it is anticipated that Kertajati Health Center in Majalengka Regency would be able to use this approach as a non-pharmacological treatment to improve milk production.

Abstract

Stroke is a disease or nerve disorder that occurs suddenly due to impaired blood flow to the brain. Stroke is known to cause various complications including the occurrence of decubitus wounds. Decubitus is one of the most frequent complications experienced by stroke patients. One of the therapies that can be given to prevent these complications is to take mobilization actions. The purpose of this literature review has been to analyze the provision of mobilization measures in stroke patients to prevent decubitus. The search method uses the Mendeley, PubMed, and Google Scholar databases between 2017 and 2021, with the keyword "Mobilization and Patient Stroke and Pressure Sores" obtained from 100 journals, from the Mendeley 82, PubMed 1 and Google Scholar 17 databases, then from these 100 journals a selection was made and 5 articles were obtained that can be reviewed according to the inclusion criteria. Results and Discussion of a review of literature review in 5 articles stated that mobilization measures can prevent decubitus in stroke patients. Mobilization can facilitate circulatory circulation, maintain muscle tone, and maintain and increase joint range of motion. Mobilization can be given to stroke patients with mobilization actions in the form of changes in the right tilt position, left tilt, and changes in tilt position 30 degrees. This position change can be done every 2 hours. The conclusions and recommendations of this literature review suggest that the administration of mobilizing measures is effective in preventing the occurrence of decubitus in stroke patients. For this reason, this research recommendation is that patients with bed rest be mobilized and given olive oil smears.
