Abstract

Parallel operations take place in the legislative and regulatory systems. The procedures are distinct, but they are both equally powerful and public. Draft legislation (RUU) and passed laws (UU) are considered legislation. Enforcement of the law can be reasonable when it is regulated. The regulation is made in-depth and establishes the practical application of the legislation if it is written generally. A technique for gathering library data is employed, whereby the research subject is tracked down using a range of information from the literature. Bibliographic annotation analysis is the type of data analysis employed; it is a concise synopsis or crucial overview of the reading process of an article. Based on the findings of this study, regulations about the health profession are necessary to safeguard public safety interests by serving as a barrier to entry. The legal aspects of nursing practice are uncertain due to the rapid changes in regulations governing nursing registration and practice; therefore, nurses are seeking legislative stability. The 2014 Nursing Law number 38 of 2014 was released by the government. Due to their ability to control their fate and obtain the desired legal protection, Indonesian nurses are now considered respected professionals thanks to this legislation. Moreover, after nearly ten years, the Nursing Law was repealed, and law number 17 of 2023 concerning OBL Health (omnibus law) took its place. Adaptability is critical in a time of fast change, and the conclusion is drawn. There are numerous opportunities for politically astute nurses nowadays to influence public policy. Nurses can successfully manage the changeable environment if they are familiar with the regulatory process.

Abstract

Elevations in blood pressure and pulse might result from changes in the cardiovascular system that occur with aging, including the loss of artery flexibility. Motion-based exercise for the elderly increases the release of hormones that relax the patient by stimulating the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems. Senior gymnastics is an excellent physical activity for removing fat and cholesterol from blood vessels. This study aimed to determine the impact of senior exercise on hypertension in the older population in the Dukugawing Block, Kepunduan Village, Dukuntang District, and Cirebon Regency. The pre-experimental research design employed in this study included 34 senior hypertensive participants in a one-group pre-posttest design using simple total sampling. As the data were normally distributed, a paired t-test was used for data analysis after blood pressure was taken using a sphygmomanometer and elderly gymnastics was measured using a standard operating procedure (SOP). As a result of the intervention, the average blood pressure dropped from 150/94 mmHg to 140/90 mmHg, according to the data. After administering an aged exercise intervention for the elderly in the Dukugawing Block, Kepunduan Village, Dukuntang District, Cirebon Regency, a paired sample t-test analysis yielded a p-value = 0.00 <0.05, indicating a significant difference in blood pressure before and after participation.

Abstract

Significant changes in the neurological system, which can lead to a decline in cognitive function, are shared among the aged. Giving puzzle play therapy to senior citizens is one way to enhance their cognitive abilities. This study aims to find out how O'clock Puzzle Play Therapy affects cognitive function in the elderly at Nursing Home Region 3 Cirebon in 2023. This study uses a pretest-posttest with a control group design and a proper experimental design. A total of 40 respondents make up the sample, which is obtained by complete sampling. They are employing the SPMSQ questionnaire to assess the cognitive abilities of the elderly. Univariate and bivariate data analysis was performed using the data normalcy test and the marginal homogeneity test. When older patients receiving o'clock puzzle play therapy were compared to those who did not get therapy, the results of the intellectual evaluation score using the SPMSQ showed a substantial rise. Four older adults from the intervention group (26.7%) who had severe cognitive impairment during the SPMSQ assessment prior to playing the o'clock puzzle therapy had severe intellectual impairment. In contrast, the number of older adults in the intervention group who had severe intellectual impairment decreased to zero. The study's findings, when combined with the Asymptotic value of the Marginal Homogeneity Test, indicate that o'clock puzzle play therapy impacts cognitive performance in the senior residents of the regional 3 Cirebon caring facility. 0.002 as the 2-tailed significance. Asymptotic value. Sig shows an Asymp in this study. The value difference is substantial when the sig value is less than 0.05.

Abstract

This study looked at whether iron supplementation has a role in keeping teenage girls from becoming anemic. Anemia is characterized by a reduction in hemoglobin levels, erythrocyte count, and hematocrit, which impairs the ability of circulating hemoglobin levels and erythrocytes to supply oxygen to bodily tissues. Anemia affects 50–80% of people worldwide. Anemia is more common in teenage girls (15–19 years old) than it is in fertile women (26.9%). Adolescent females are highly susceptible to anemia, which a number of reasons, such as inadequate iron intake, menstruation, and food, can cause. The body needs iron, a micronutrient, to produce hemoglobin. The literature review research technique starts with topic selection and moves on to keyword analysis, with the two keywords being iron and anemia. From 2017 to 2021, articles can be found using Indonesian through the following e-resource databases: Perpusnas, PMC, Ebsco, ProQuest, Mendelay, and Google Scholar. Thirty-four journals were excluded, leaving 111 journals for assessment. The results indicated that iron tablets were utilized in five articles, while additional guava fruit juice, vitamin C, folic acid, and protein were used in two articles. One study indicated that tempeh could raise adolescent girls' hemoglobin levels before and after the intervention, helping prevent anemia. The efficacious delivery of iron can effectively avert anemia. One way to lower the prevalence of anemia is to prevent it by eating foods high in iron and administering blood-added tablets (TTD).

Abstract

Stress and an overabundance of catecholamine hormones released during labor can cause smooth muscle and uterine ischemia, which heightens pain impulses. A light touch or therapeutic massage stimulating the body to release endorphin compounds can relieve pain and comfort. This type of massage is known as endorphin massage. Linalool, a compound found in lavender aromatherapy, has calming and muscle-relaxing properties. This research project aims to ascertain "The Effectiveness of Lavender Aromatherapy and Endorphin Massage on Anxiety of Labor Pain in the First Active Phase in the Working Area UPTD Puskesmas Sukahaji." This study used a quasi-experimental design with pre-and post-test methods and a control group design carried out in the working area of UPTD Puskesmas Sukahaji. Purposive sampling was used to obtain samples. Purposive sampling was used to collect samples from 120 individuals. The Wilcoxon and Kruskal Wallis tests were used in the data analysis. The Wilcoxon test in bivariate analysis produced a p-value of less than 0.005 for every intervention group. The endorphin massage group's mean rank for the anxiety variable was 57.08; the control group's was 45.17; the lavender aromatherapy group's was 72.53; and the combination group's was 67.22. In conclusion, the anxiety associated with labor pain was impacted by endorphin massage, lavender aromatherapy, and the combination of the two. The best treatment for lowering anxiety was lavender aromatherapy, and the best way to lessen the severity of labor pain was to combine lavender aromatherapy with endorphin massage. Recommendation: It is believed that aromatherapy with lavender and endorphin massage can be used as alternative ways to reduce anxiety and the intensity of labor pain.

Abstract

Anemia is a condition in which the number of red blood cells or the concentration of oxygen carriers in the blood (hemoglobin) in the body is insufficient for physiological needs. Hemoglobin itself functions to help red blood cells to get their natural shape, which is round with a flat center. Anemia is a condition where the body does not have enough iron reserves, so there is a shortage of iron distribution to the body's tissues. Based on the results of Riskesdas in 2018, the prevalence of anemia in Indonesia is still relatively high at 48.9%. This study aims to make functional food alternatives for adolescents with anemia by using raw red bean and brown rice materials to manufacture cream soup and to find out the organoleptic, preferred formulation, nutrient and iron contribution. The method used in this study is an experimental method with a RAL (Complete Random Series) research design with two repetitions and as many as eight experimental units with four formulas with comparisons in the use of red beans and brown rice F0 (0%: 13%), F1 (10.4%: 2.6%), F2 (9.1%: 3.9%), and F3 (7.8%: 5.2%). The results of the most preferred red bean and brown rice cream soup formulation product based on the overall parameter with the highest value is the first formulation (F1) with a value of 4.10. This value is higher than the F0 value of 3.87, so this product can be used as an alternative functional food for anemia sufferers.

Abstract

Nutrition problems in Indonesia are still relatively high. SSGI results (2021) show that malnutrition is 17.1% and stunting is 24.4%. Lack of food consumption, especially protein, is one of the causes. Utilization of tofu dregs is still very low, as is banana blossom. Tofu dregs and banana blossoms have quite a high protein and fiber content. Tofu dregs and banana blossoms have the potential to become a high-nutrient food product that is suitable for consumption and has economic value. This research is a follow-up research from organoleptic tests, finding that vegetable sausages have organoleptic qualities that are no less than commercial sausages. This research aims to conduct laboratory tests for protein and fiber content and tests for the acceptability of vegetable sausages. This type of research is experimental, by design of two groups with control. Test acceptability with the method Visual Comstock by looking at leftovers. The acceptability test was conducted on 51 children in grades IV and V at SDN Pamitran-Cirebon who met the screening criteria. The treatment group consisted of 24 children, and the control group consisted of 27 children. Sample assignment was carried out randomly. Abstract

Herbal medicine is prohibited from adding Medicinal Chemicals (BKO), both isolated and synthetic, by Permenkes No. 007 of 2012 Article 7. However, several previous studies found herbal medicine containing BKO; the addition of BKO is indicated so that products from the manufacturer feel faster and have instant efficacy. However, the addition of BKO to herbal medicine has side effects on the organs of the consumer. In 2014 – 2022, BPOM released 12 herbal products that were proven to contain BKO. This study aims to identify the existence of BKO in shortness-of-breath herbal medicine and to find out what BKO is contained in the herbal medicine. Using the purposive sampling method, this study tested six herbal medicine samples with shortness of breath circulating in Cirebon. The techniques used in the identification were thin-layer chromatography (KLT) with the silent phase of GF 254 silica gel, the motion phase of Chloroform, Methanol, and Aquabidest with a ratio of 2: 7: 1. Spot detection through 254 nm UV light. The controlled solution is the test solution (A), the positive control solution (B), and the comparator raw solution (C). Based on the study's results, 5 out of 6 herbal samples containing BKO, Samples 1 and 3 contained CTM and Ephedrine Hcl. Samples 2, 5, and 6 contained Ephedrine HCl only. Sample 4 does not contain BKO.
