Investment motivation is a state in a person's personality that encourages the individual's desire to carry out certain activities to invest. In this study, a descriptive type of research is used which is one of the qualitative methods with the aim of the social situation to be studied. The data collection method used in this research is the Documentation technique. This research uses the literature study method, with the research objective of analyzing the motivation of investors to buy BUKA and GOTO shares. The result of this study is that although the profit generated by GOTO from 2022 to 2023 has decreased, GOTO investors continue to increase. This is due to GOTO shares which recently made it into the large cap list in the FTSE Global Asia Pacific series index (effective closing March 17, 2023) and the MSCI index (effective June 1, 2023). that is, GOTO companies have good fundamental movements and liquidity. Abstract

This research discusses crucial aspects of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia, focusing on comprehensive performance evaluation that includes financial and non-financial dimensions. Nevertheless, challenges such as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, limited entrepreneurial orientation, inadequate knowledge management, and difficulties adapting to rapid environmental changes have increased the rate of MSME closures in Indonesia. This study, involving 125 MSMEs in the Malang Raya region, examines the mediating role of knowledge management and dynamic capabilities in the relationship between entrepreneurial orientation and company performance. The results indicate that entrepreneurial orientation positively impacts company performance, knowledge management, and dynamic capabilities. However, knowledge management and dynamic capabilities do not significantly influence company performance, suggesting that they do not mediate between entrepreneurial orientation and company performance. Practically, these findings have significant implications for practitioners and policymakers seeking to enhance the performance of MSMEs in Indonesia. Recognizing the crucial role of entrepreneurial orientation in shaping positive company performance implies that fostering an entrepreneurial mindset is a key strategy. Nevertheless, considering the insignificant impact of knowledge management and dynamic capabilities on company performance, attention should be redirected towards alternative factors or strategies to address the unique challenges faced by Indonesian MSMEs. Policymakers can use these insights to design interventions targeting critical areas to create a conducive business environment for MSMEs in Indonesia.

Abstract

The banking sector, including Bank Syariah X, faces challenges with high employee turnover rates, which can be attributed to factors such as workload, role conflict, and work stress. This quantitative study aims to analyze the impact of workload, role conflict, and work stress on turnover intentions and work fatigue among Bank Syariah X employees in the Jabodetabek area. A sample of 75 organic employees was selected using simple random sampling, and data were collected through questionnaire surveys. Analysis was conducted using Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis. The findings reveal that workload and role conflict significantly contribute to work stress, which in turn influences turnover intentions and job burnout. The study underscores the importance of addressing these factors to mitigate turnover and enhance employee well-being. The results provide valuable insights for academia to enrich research literature, researchers to contribute to knowledge development, and Bank Syariah X management to formulate effective policies and practices for workforce management.

Abstract

This study aimed to investigate the impact of job placement and job loyalty on employee performance at the Palembang State Attorney's Office. The research background indicates that effective human resource management, including proper job placement and fostering job loyalty, is essential for organizational success, especially in law enforcement agencies where performance directly affects public service delivery. The population comprised all 134 employees at the office. The sample was selected using purposive sampling, excluding Echelon III (Head of the District Attorney), Echelon IV (Head of Section), and Echelon V (Head of Affairs) positions, as these are determined by the Attorney General's Office of Indonesia. The respondents included 117 employees in functional and executive roles. Multiple linear regression analysis revealed that both job placement and job loyalty positively and significantly affect employee performance. It is recommended that job placement be evaluated to ensure alignment with employees' educational levels. Additionally, while loyalty to work is essential, not all tasks require teamwork. The Palembang State Prosecutor's Office is encouraged to provide job-specific training to enhance employee performance. The study concludes that optimizing job placement and encouraging job loyalty can significantly enhance the overall performance of employees, leading to better organizational outcomes.

Abstract

The performance of employees at BPJS Employment, a state institution in Indonesia responsible for labor social security, has faced significant challenges and fluctuations. Particularly, the Regional Office of South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung experienced notable performance changes due to various internal policies. This study aims to investigate the impact of manpower planning and mutation on employee performance at BPJS Employment Regional Office South Sumatra and Bangka Belitung. The research examines how effective human resource planning and employee rotations influence performance outcomes. The study encompasses a population of 337 employees, with a sample of 183 respondents selected through a simple random sampling technique using the Slovin formula with a 5% error margin. Multiple linear regression analysis reveals that both manpower planning and mutations positively and significantly affect employee performance. The findings suggest that better manpower planning enables management to recruit the right number of employees, ensuring they are appropriately placed in positions that match their skills and organizational needs. Additionally, the mutation process, when aligned with job requirements and employee achievements, can enhance overall performance. These results highlight the necessity for BPJS Employment to continuously evaluate and improve their HR planning and mutation strategies to achieve optimal employee performance.

Abstract

The research examines the impact of store design and atmosphere on consumer purchasing decisions in Greater Jakarta (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi). It analyzes the direct influence of store design and atmosphere and their mediating role with window display, mannequin display, visual merchandising, music, light and color, and signage. The study also evaluates the moderating effect of perceived service quality and assesses the direct impact of product, price, and promotion. Using a quantitative, descriptive approach, data were analyzed with Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and model fit evaluation using SPSS 26 and SmartPLS 3.0. Results indicate that store design and atmosphere significantly impact purchasing decisions, with window display, mannequin display, visual merchandising, music, light and color, and signage mediating this impact. Perceived service quality moderates the relationship, while product, price, and promotion directly impact purchasing decisions. The study suggests that fashion retailers in metropolitan Jakarta should focus on store design, atmosphere, and service elements to enhance purchasing decisions and develop effective consumer strategies.
