Abstract

Based on the Community Service activities that were carried out on July 9 2021, we received a good response from the community as seen from their remarks welcoming the collaborative PKM Team from FKIP Computer Education Study Program, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Computer Science, University of Dehasen Bengkulu. The implementation of this community service activity is a form of activity that supports the PT Javas Anugrah Perkasa Bengkulu Security Guard Candidate program to improve ability to understand law-based affective areas and be motivated to understand increasingly advanced technology at this time.

Abstract

Community Service Activities aim to be able to provide new experience and knowledge to teachers and students of SD Negeri 07 in the application of online and face-to-face learning (blended learning) in the new normal period so that existing learning can be used properly and optimally. Based on the results of the Community Service activity entitled "Mentally Readiness Assistance for Student Learning in the New Normal Period at SD Negeri 07 Bengkulu City" it can be concluded that the implementation of this activity went smoothly without significant obstacles.

Abstract

Improving the quality of human resources can be done through well-managed education. The success of the educational process is inseparable from the big role of educators. Educators or teachers have a very important role in the success or failure of learning that takes place in schools. This is in accordance with the results of studies from developing countries which prove that teachers make the highest contribution to learning achievement. Information such as the application of computer networks to support competency exam activities. After carrying out the Community Service activity entitled "Empowerment of teachers at SMSK 9 Muhammadiyah Bengkulu City" several results have been achieved, namely: 1. Increased teacher training regarding the goals of teacher empowerment 2. Understanding of forms of teacher empowerment is getting better.

Abstract

Based on the Community Service activities that were carried out on July 9 2021, we received a good response from the community as seen from their remarks welcoming the presence of the PKM FKIP Team of Computer Education Study Program, Dehasen University Bengkulu. The activity of distributing gifts in the form of lunches, masks and vitamin C drinks is one of the social actions carried out to show high concern and empathy for the community, especially those affected by Covid-19. Through this activity, the general public will build awareness for people affected by Covid-19. The distribution of gifts was carried out at several points other than the SASPAL base camp in Bengkulu City, which could generate a sense of empathy from other members of the public. This activity can also be implemented by other parties with a broader target. This positive activity must receive appreciation from the people or institutions that have contributed to the movement to build awareness for the community affected by Covid-19. Community Service Activities that have been organized by FKIP Lecturers in the Computer Education Study Program, Dehasen University, Bengkulu, are a form of implementing the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. Therefore, this activity is very limited to certain groups and at certain times. It is hoped that activities like this can get fuller support so that they reach more of the implementation targets. In addition, with full support from Dehasen Bengkulu University or other groups, this activity can be carried out in a sustainable manner. The Movement to Build Concern for Communities Affected by Covid-19 needs to be echoed more widely so that this movement is better known by the wider community. So that the number of community participation in carrying out this activity will increase.

Abstract

Digital literacy creates a social order with a critical-creative mindset and outlook. They will not be easily influenced by provocative issues, so they will become victims of digital-based hoaxes or fraud. Thus, the social and cultural life of the community will tend to be safe and conducive. Building a digital literacy culture needs to involve the active role of the community together. In simple terms, literacy is defined as an activity that involves reading and writing. Introduction to Digital Literacy for PKBM Participants in the City of Bengkulu, departing from the problems faced by the PKBM in the City of Bengkulu regarding how to teach material through digital literacy in learning Indonesian. The purpose of this socialization is to raise the enthusiasm of students at PKBM Bunda Sciences in the City of Bengkulu in participating in learning Indonesian with digital literacy. Implementation of Community Service activities by collaborating between lecturers at Dehasen Bengkulu University and PKBM in the City of Bengkulu by providing socialization on the introduction of digital literacy as an initial step to see the responses of PKBM in the Bengkulu City of Mother Science in the learning process and applying it directly in the digital world so that more interesting learning. Basically, learning activities are based on reading and writing activities. In this training, reading and writing techniques can be delivered to improve students' abilities to explore themselves using digital media. The use of digital tools or media makes it easier for students to learn because they keep up with the times. Students who are diligent in writing can write on blogs and blogs that are read by many people so that the reading material we create will be useful for others.

Abstract

Based on the results of the activities and evaluation analysis, it can be concluded as follows The service participants were very enthusiastic about participating in the activities, which could increase the knowledge that was very useful for the people affected by covid-19 Bengkulu City and went home also getting the basic necessities they really needed. It is necessary to hold further community service with different materials so that they are more motivated in facing the covid - 19 pandemic era.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan proses implementasi keilmuan yang dipelajari di perguruan tinggi guna memberikan manfaat seluas-luasnya bagi masyarakat. Salah satu bentuk kegiatan pengabdian ialah berupa bantuan sosial. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kepedulian dan tanggung jawab sosial kita untuk dapat memberikan manfaat terhadap masyarakat. Kegiatan ini berupa Social Media sebagai Media Efektif Pembelajaran Bahasa di Era Hybrid Learning. Kegiatan Pengabdian ini terselengagara dengan lancar, yang ditandai dengan partisipasi aktif dari semua pihak. Melalui kegiatan pengabdian ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam pemanfaatan media sosial sebagai media efektif dalam pembelajaran bahasa. Kata kunci: sosial media, media efektif dalam pembelajaran

Abstract

Pada desa wisata Belitar Seberang, komunikasi antara penduduk lokal dengan wisatawan asing terkadang dikombinasikan dengan bahasa isyarat. Penduduk lokal dalam industri pariwisata di Objek Wisata Belitar Seberang mengambil berbagai macam peran. Mereka berjualan disepanjang area Objek Wisata Belitar Seberang, atau sebagai pemandu wisata. Berdasarkan analisis situasi, maka permasalahan mitra Desa Belitar Seberang adalah kemampuan bahasa Inggris dari Warga dalam upaya mendukung industri pariwisata Objek Wisata Belitar Seberang masih memerlukan pemantapan. Selain kemampuan bahasa inggris yang baik, dalam dunia pariwisata juga diperlukan pemasaran yang baik. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang terjadi di lapangan maka solusi yang disepakati dengan pengurus adalah pemantapan Iklan menggunakan bahasa Inggris untuk pariwisata melalui pelatihan Bahasa melalui pelatihan. Pelatihan dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Belirang. Peserta pelatihan adalah pemuda di Desa Belirang yang tergabung dalam Karang Taruna Belirang serta warga Desa Belirang. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan memberikan materi menggunakan Ms. Powerpoint. Lalu dilakukan praktek bersama dalam kelas. Dalam pelaksanaan pelatihan juga dilakukan pembuatan kelompok-kelompok untuk praktek pembuatan iklan. Pelatihan kedua dilaksanakan dengan memberikan materi mengenai Bahasa promosi pariwisata (iklan). Hasil Evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa seluruh peserta memahami materi yang diberikan. Kata Kunci: Belirang, Bahasa Inggris, Promosi Pariwisata

Abstract

Trend backpacker sedang berkembang di berbagai daerah, termasuk di Bengkulu. Backpacker telah diidentifikasi memiliki “preferensi untuk akomodasi anggaran, perjalanan yang diatur secara mandiri dan penekanan pada bertemu wisatawan lain, lebih lama daripada liburan singkat. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis faktor pendorong dan penarik yang memotivasi wisatawan backpacker asing berwisata ke Bengkulu. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 200 responden backpacker dan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Kuesioner offline digunakan untuk pengumpulan data dan teknik analisisnya berdasarkan analisis faktor. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor pendorong berwisata backpacker ke Bengkulu adalah (1) fasilitasi interaksi sosial, (2) identitas diri, (3) relaksasi, (4) prestise, (5) petualangan (6) kebaruan. Faktor pendorong yang dominan adalah fasilitasi interaksi sosial. Faktor penarik adalah (1) budaya/sejarah, (2) harga terjangkau, (3) pencarian keragaman, (4) fasilitas pariwisata, (5) keamanan dan kebersihan, (6) lingkungan. Faktor penarik yang dominan adalah Budaya/Sejarah. Kata Kunci: Analisis Faktor, Faktor Dorong & Tarik, Wisatawan Backpacker

Abstract

Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) merupakan tes kecakapan berbahasa Inggris yang masih dianggap relevan di pasar kerja saat ini. Oleh karena itu, TOEFL sangat penting untuk pekerjaan di hampir semua lembaga pemerintah. Oleh karena itu, kami dari tim pengabdi berupaya memanfaatkan kesempatan ini untuk menyelenggarakan lokakarya atau pelatihan bagi enam puluh orang yang terdaftar dalam program pengenalan tes TOEFL dan pengenalan tulisan ilmiah bagi calon wisudawan. Karena TOEFL digunakan sebagai kriteria kelulusan dari program pelatihan lembaga tersebut, persiapan untuk ujian sangatlah penting. Upacara ini berlangsung di Aula lantai 4 Universitas Dehasen Bengkulu. Kesulitan peserta dalam memahami bacaan. Inilah mengapa para presenter bekerja keras untuk membekali Anda dengan pengetahuan yang Anda butuhkan untuk menguasai TOEFL. Kata Kunci: tes TOEFL, workshop, penulisan karya ilmiah
