Abstract

The implementation of Islamic Spiritual Guidance is the process of sustaining and maintaining the patient's spiritual activities in order to gain the sincerity, patience or calmness as well as motivation to heal despite the disease. Patients who are in pain physically must also exhibit mental disorder, such as anxiety, uneasiness and depression. This research attempted to ascertain the ways in which Islamic spiritual guidance was implemented to encourage inpatients' recovery, as well as the aspects of Islamic spiritual guidance that either facilitate or impede inpatients' recovery at Sinjai Regional General Hospital. This research is a qualitative study and the data was gathered through observation, interviews and documentation. In this study, the implementation of Islamic spiritual guidance at RSUD Sinjai is very necessary in providing guidance to the patients, especially for daily inpatients through approached to patients or in person interaction. The patients can received guidance from doctors and nurses on how to continue worshiping, receiving guidance, and praying for the patients recovery. The Islamic spiritual guidance comes in two forms, there are psychological guidance that comes from patience and honesty, and spiritual direction that comes from faith, prayer, dhikr, and prayer. The supporting factors is the patients who can be open minded, the personality of doctors and nurses, acceptance from patients and patients' families and the support from families. While the inhibiting factors are patients who are not open minded, the patient's language and Islamic spiritual counselors.

Abstract

The ability to draw is the initial stage for children to express themselves and their emotions through various media. For children, drawing is the most enjoyable thing, but unfortunately children with special needs find this activity difficult to do, even just imitating the shape of objects, it is very difficult to imitate. This research aims to increase motivation and drawing skills in children with special needs through drawing completion techniques. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data presentation, and verification/drawing conclusions. Test the validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of the research show that the technique of completing drawings can increase the motivation and drawing ability of children with Down syndrome, such as having high interest, honing skills and perseverance, developing the child's personality, and can be a means of therapeutic modality for children's mental health

Abstract

This research aims to understand the role of Islamic counseling in supporting the careers of educated housewives who play dual roles as mothers and workers. The issue raised is how Islamic counseling helps women face the challenges of balancing career and family life. The research objectives also include how such counseling impacts women's emotional and psychological well-being. The method used is a qualitative approach with bibliometric analysis. Data were collected through a literature search from the Scopus and Google Scholar databases, producing 34 relevant articles based on keywords such as "Islamic counseling," "career," and "housewife." The research results show that Islamic counseling helps women manage multiple roles, reduces stress, and strengthens family relationships. The interesting fact is that this spiritual-based counseling not only helps in the emotional aspect, but also supports balance between career and family. The implication of this research is the importance of Islamic counseling as part of services to help women who play dual roles

Abstract

This research explores the potential of artificial intelligence (AI)-based counseling in improving access and affordability of mental health services in Indonesia, especially in remote areas that lack trained professionals. By utilizing AI technology, counseling services can be accessed through mobile devices or computers, addressing gaps in existing mental health services. This research uses the literature study method. emphasizes the importance of AI system design that is able to customize counseling approaches. In addition, this research proposes an integrated counseling model between AI technology and local cultural values, involving collaboration between technology developers, traditional counselors, and local communities. With a comprehensive and culturally responsive approach, AI-based counseling can be an innovative solution to mental health challenges in Indonesia, while still respecting the nation's socio-cultural uniqueness. This research also recognizes that AI is not capable of replacing the role of humans, it can only be an auxiliary tool in the counseling process.

Abstract

This study aims to gain an understanding of the role of guidance and counseling teachers in optimizing student awareness at SMA 21 Bone. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method to examine the role of guidance and counseling teachers in shaping the disciplined character of students at SMA Negeri 21 Bone. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that guidance and counseling teachers play an important role in instilling discipline awareness through self-understanding, social, academic, environmental awareness, and ethics and morals. A personal approach and continuous monitoring are applied to evaluate changes in student behavior before and after guidance and counseling. Parental involvement is also a key factor in increasing discipline awareness, through structured communication and meetings to find joint solutions. In conclusion, guidance and counseling teachers have an important role in dealing with students' personal problems and increasing discipline through a holistic and collaborative approach and helping students to become individuals who care about the environment and their surrounding communities

Abstract

Mental resilience is the ability of individuals to remain stable and thrive in the face of stress, challenges, and life changes. This study examines the importance of resilience in maintaining mental health when facing various life challenges. By utilizing psychological and sociological approaches, the purpose of this study explores strategies and factors that influence resilience, as well as their implications for improving quality of life. This study uses a literature study method. The results of this study highlight the importance of resilience development as an integral part of prevention and intervention efforts in mental health. The practical implications of this study can help individuals and communities face life challenges more effectively and productively. These findings provide important insights for individuals, communities, and institutions in efforts to support mental resilience and create an environment conducive to psychological growth.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of hypnolearning in enhancing teachers' ability to deliver lessons to students through a guidance and counseling program. The research employs an experimental method with a quantitative approach, utilizing a pretest-posttest control group design. The study was conducted at SD Negeri No. 1 Balangnipa, Balangnipa District, Sinjai Regency, from September to October 2024. The population consisted of all elementary school teachers in Gugus II Sinjai Utara, with the sample selected using the total sampling technique to ensure equal opportunities for all members of the population. Data collection techniques included observation and tests, with research instruments comprising pretests and posttests designed to measure changes in teachers' abilities after the intervention. Data analysis was conducted through three stages, including assumption testing (normality and homogeneity tests) and hypothesis testing using a paired sample t-test with a 5% significance level. The results revealed that hypnolearning significantly improved teaching effectiveness, with an average score difference of 24.67742 and a significance value of 0.000 (p < 0.05), indicating a substantial difference between pretest and posttest results. This improvement is attributed to teachers' ability to apply relaxation techniques and provide positive suggestions to students, creating a more conducive learning environment and enhancing students' comprehension. Thus, implementing hypnolearning in guidance and counseling programs has been proven effective in improving teaching quality. Therefore, this method is recommended as an innovative strategy for teachers to create a more comfortable, interactive, and engaging learning experience for students

Abstract

Domestic violence (DV) is a serious social problem and continues to be a concern, including in South Lampung District. The South Lampung Regency Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (PPPA) Office plays an important role in providing services to victims of domestic violence. One of the efforts made is to provide individual counseling services with the REBT approach. The purpose of this study was to examine individual counseling services with the REBT approach in dealing with victims of domestic violence at the South Lampung Regency Women's Empowerment and Child Protection Office. The research method used is qualitative, descriptive qualitative, which means examining the current status of human groups, objects, conditions, systems of thought, and classes of events. The results obtained are, there are three indicators of the causes of domestic violence, namely, the existence of an unbalanced power relationship between husband and wife, economic dependence, and violence as a conflict resolution. The REBT approach in individual counseling at the PPPA Office of South Lampung Regency is an effective method in helping victims of domestic violence overcome trauma and rebuild self-confidence.

Abstract

Premarital pregnancy is a social problem that often has a serious impact on women, both physically and psychologically. This phenomenon is often accompanied by social stigma, emotional stress, and anxiety, which require sensitive and empathetic handling. This study aims to explore the application of individual counseling at PT. Transforma Counseling in handling cases of premarital pregnancy, with a focus on an empathy-based approach and client needs. Using a qualitative method with a phenomenological approach, this study identifies the subjective experiences of women facing premarital pregnancy and how counseling helps them manage their feelings and stress. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews with purposively selected participants, and analyzed using phenomenological techniques. The results of the study indicate that empathy-based interventions using cognitive-behavioral therapy are effective in helping clients overcome anxiety and stigma, increase self-acceptance, and give them the ability to make more confident decisions. In addition, providing social support integrated into counseling strengthens clients' psychological resilience. Periodic evaluation and post-guidance monitoring ensure the sustainability of the recovery process. These findings provide an important contribution to the development of a more structured and needs-based counseling model, and can be used as a reference for other institutions in handling similar cases more professionally and contextually.

Abstract

The phenomenon of men wearing the hijab has become an issue that challenges the prevailing social, cultural, and religious norms in society. In the traditional Islamic perspective, the hijab is seen as an obligation for women as a form of obedience and self-protection. However, the emergence of men wearing the hijab raises critical questions about gender identity, self-expression, and understanding of religious teachings. This study aims to examine this phenomenon through an Islamic counseling approach with a focus on the psychological, spiritual, and social aspects of the client. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach to explore the motivations, backgrounds, and inner dynamics of individuals who choose to wear the hijab as men. The results of the study indicate that the use of the hijab by men is not always related to identity deviation, but can represent a spiritual search, a form of social criticism, or an existential expression that needs to be understood holistically. The Islamic counseling approach plays an important role in providing empathetic and non-judgmental assistance, while still being based on the values ​​of the Qur'an and As-Sunnah. This study encourages the development of new insights in Islamic counseling that are more inclusive of the diversity of individual expression in the modern era.
