Abstract

The Islamic Religious Education Cadre (DAI) extracurricular activities are religious development activities outside of school hours that aim to enhance students' understanding of Islamic teachings and hone their da'wah skills. These activities include rhetoric training, Islamic studies, discussions, and worship practices, aimed at developing religious character and improving student learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI). This study aims to analyze the implementation of DAI Cadre extracurricular activities, assess student learning outcomes in PAI, and identify the relationship between involvement in these activities and their academic performance. The method used was quantitative with a descriptive approach, where data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using simple linear regression. The results indicate a positive relationship between participation in DAI Cadre extracurricular activities and improved student learning outcomes. Students who actively participate in these activities tend to have a better understanding of PAI and demonstrate improvements in cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Thus, DAI Cadre extracurricular activities can be a supporting factor in improving the quality of religious education in schools.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of digital Quran utilization on students’ reading interest amidst demanding academic schedules using a descriptive quantitative approach. Data collected through online questionnaires distributed to highly mobile students indicate that the accessibility of the digital Quran (Variable X) exerts a significant positive effect, with 60% of respondents finding the technology’s convenience highly beneficial. Regarding Variable Y (Reading Interest), the findings reveal that 55% of students maintain productivity by reading more than 10 verses per session through micro-reading strategies despite their busy schedules. Although challenges such as time constraints (50%) and physical exhaustion (25%) persist, digital technology proves to be an effective tool for bolstering spiritual resilience. Ultimately, this research concludes that the digital Quran not only facilitates easier access but also strengthens positive habits and religious literacy among the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the metadata management policy of the Mangle Magazine digital collection at the Sunda Cultural Center of Padjadjaran University. Metadata management involves managing a structured digital object to describe, identify, and facilitate information retrieval so that it can be used in the long term. The method used is qualitative descriptive using a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques were conducted through primary and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through participatory observation and interviews, while secondary data was obtained through documentation studies from existing metadata reports, journals, and legal sources that can be used as references. Data analysis refers to information management theory, digital information systems, and metadata theory. The results of this study indicate that the management of the Mangle Magazine digital collection is not yet carried out systematically and in a standardised manner. The main issues include inconsistent metadata entry, particularly in the rubrication elements, and the absence of policies related to the management of metadata for the digital collection of Mangle magazine. The existing metadata cannot yet represent the information sources, thus hindering the information retrieval process. Therefore, metadata management policies need to be developed based on the uniqueness of Mangle magazine as the oldest local Sundanese cultural magazine, so that the digital Mangle magazine can serve as a cultural information source for future use.

Abstract

The development of digital technology encourages public service companies to improve the quality of customer service. PT PLN (Persero), as Indonesia’s national electricity service provider, faces challenges in managing customer complaints that are still handled conventionally through direct visits and phone calls, resulting in delays in complaint handling and a lack of service information transparency. This study aims to design and develop a web -based customer complaint management application called SuaraQita using the CodeIgniter 3 framework at PLN Unit Layanan Pelanggan (ULP) Ampera. The research method used is the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and literature studies, while system testing used the Black Box Testing method. The results of this study indicate that the SuaraQita application can facilitate customers in submitting complaints and monitoring complaint status online, as well as assist officers in managing complaints more effectively and systematically. Based on the testing results, all system features functioned according to user requirements. The conclusion of this study shows that the implementation of a web based customer complaint management application can help improve customer service quality and support digital transformation at PLN Unit Layanan Pelanggan Ampera.

Abstract

In the era of digital disruption and globalization, Indonesia faces a leadership crisis that demands strong character education, with Citizenship Education (Civic Education/PKn) serving as a strategic means for developing integrity-based Pancasila leadership. This study aims to analyze how PKn materials and methods transform students into adaptive leaders through qualitative descriptive literature review. Data were collected from 18 scientific journals and 2 books from the 2021-2026 period via Google Scholar, SINTA, and university repositories, analyzed using thematic content analysis technique (open-axial-selective coding). The synthesis results reveal that PKn effectively develops leadership through three dimensions: cognitive (constitutional understanding), affective (democratic empathy), and conative (OSIS/PMII practice). Project-based learning and teachers' servant leadership enhance soft skills by 40-60%, particularly in the Merdeka Curriculum. PKn functions as an incubator for prophetic leadership in Society 5.0, with main themes of Pancasila inculcation, active learning, and extracurricular collaboration. It is concluded that PKn proven as a transformational means of holistic leadership for Indonesia Gold 2045. Recommendations include AI/VR integration, transformational teacher training, and longitudinal mixed methods research. This study fills the post-pandemic literature gap regarding the long-term impact of PKn on the national leadership generation.

Abstract

Life in a boarding school requires students to adjust to a new environment, strict rules, and living far away from their parents, which can affect their psychological well-being. Students at Muhammadiyah Boarding School Bumiayu experience difficulties in adapting and receive limited social support, which in turn influences their psychological well-being. This study aims to examine the effects of adaptability on psychological well-being, with social support as a mediating variable. This research employed a quantitative method with a sample of 169 students from Muhammadiyah Boarding School Bumiayu, selected using simple random sampling. Data analysis was conducted using simple linear regression and mediation analysis. The results show that adaptability has a significant effect on psychological well-being, with an F value of 119.970 and a significance level of < 0.001. Adaptability accounts for 41.8% of the variance in psychological well-being. Furthermore, adaptability has a significant effect on social support, with an F value of 25.425 and a significance level of < 0.001, explaining 13.2% of the variance in social support. Social support also has a significant effect on psychological well-being, with an F value of 35.728 and a significance level of < 0.001, contributing 17.6% to psychological well-being. In addition, social support is proven to mediate the effect of adaptability on psychological well-being, as indicated by the indirect effect confidence interval that does not include zero (BootLLCI = 0.0748; BootULCI = 0.3883). It can be concluded that adaptability has a significant effect on psychological well-being both directly and indirectly through social support.

Abstract

The fast fashion industry contributes significantly to environmental damage through the exploitation of natural resources, textile waste, and carbon emissions. Amidst increasing public awareness of environmental issues, many companies are exploiting sustainability claims as a marketing strategy, leading to greenwashing practices. This study analyzes greenwashing practices in the SHEIN case from the perspective of Indonesian environmental law and its relationship to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The method used is normative juridical with a legislative approach and case studies. The results show that although Indonesia does not yet have specific regulations regarding greenwashing, existing legal instruments in environmental protection and consumer protection can be used as a basis for action. This practice contradicts the principles of transparency, prudence, and responsibility in environmental law. In addition, greenwashing also has the potential to hinder the achievement of the SDGs, especially goals 12 and 13 related to sustainable consumption and production, as well as climate action. Therefore, strengthening regulations, increasing supervision, and more effective law enforcement are needed to prevent similar practices in the future, in line with sustainable development goals, especially in the context of the global fashion industry in Indonesia.

Abstract

Climate change represents one of the most pressing environmental challenges facing Indonesia today. Its consequences extend beyond ecological dimensions, encompassing complex legal, social, and economic implications. This research aims to analyze the extent to which Indonesian positive law provides legal protection to the environment against the impacts of climate change, and to examine how such a legal framework aligns with the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 on climate action. The findings reveal that although Indonesia has established a comprehensive legal framework — including Law No. 32 of 2009 on Environmental Protection and Management, the ratification of the Paris Agreement through Law No. 16 of 2016, and various implementing regulations — its enforcement and implementation continue to face considerable obstacles. Synchronization between national regulations and international commitments such as the SDGs and Nationally Determined Contributions (NDC) remains suboptimal, largely due to weak institutional capacity, overlapping authority, and prevailing economic interests. This study underscores the urgent need to strengthen environmental law in a manner that upholds sustainable development principles, intergenerational equity, and the integration of climate justice into Indonesia's judicial system.

Abstract

This article examines the dynamics of the bilateral economic relations between Indonesia and Singapore within the framework of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), focusing on three main dimensions: the structural asymmetry of both countries' economic capacities, the pattern of Indonesia's dependence on Singapore's foreign direct investment (FDI), and the rivalry of interests operating beneath the surface of bilateral cooperation narratives. Employing a qualitative approach with a case study design and secondary data analysis covering the period 2015–2024, this article finds that the bilateral relationship is characterized by asymmetric interdependence that has deepened over the course of AEC implementation. Singapore's FDI dominance, growing from USD 5.9 billion in 2015 to USD 20,1 billion in 2024 and accounting for 52 percent of Indonesia's total FDI inflows, reflects a profound structural dependency. Rather than functioning as a mechanism for economic convergence, the AEC has reinforced pre-existing asymmetric investment patterns, as formal liberalization has not been accompanied by adequate redistributive mechanisms. This article argues that a transformation toward a more balanced relationship requires Indonesia to strengthen its domestic institutional capacity, diversify its sources of investment, and leverage its strategic assets more effectively in both bilateral and regional multilateral forums.

Abstract

Industrial development in Indonesia has had a positive impact on economic growth and national development, but on the other hand, it has also given rise to various forms of environmental pollution due to poor industrial waste management. Air, water, and soil pollution from industrial activities show that environmental protection still faces various challenges, particularly in environmental oversight and law enforcement. This study aims to analyze environmental permit regulations as an instrument for preventing pollution from industrial activities in Indonesia, analyze issues in environmental permit enforcement, and analyze efforts to optimize environmental permit enforcement in support of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This study uses normative legal research methods with legislative and conceptual approaches. The results show that environmental permits have a preventive function in preventing environmental pollution through the AMDAL (Environmental Impact Assessment) and UKL-UPL (Environmental Management and Monitoring) mechanisms. However, the effectiveness of environmental permit enforcement still faces various obstacles, such as weak oversight, low business compliance, inconsistent application of administrative sanctions, low public participation, and changes in licensing policies after the Job Creation Law that could potentially weaken environmental protection functions. Therefore, it is necessary to strengthen environmental oversight, implement strict sanctions, increase transparency in licensing, and optimize public participation to realize sustainable development and effective environmental protection.
