Abstract

In the digital era, cooperatives are required to improve the efficiency and accuracy of managing member service data, particularly savings and loan transactions. Koperasi Karya Bersama Mepi (KKBM) still relies on semi-manual recording using ledgers and spreadsheets, which poses risks such as data entry errors, inconsistencies, and difficulties in retrieving historical data. This study aims to design an integrated Member Service Information System to enhance data management efficiency and accuracy. The method used is User-Centered Design (UCD), which emphasizes user involvement throughout the development process, including understanding the context of use, specifying user requirements, designing solutions, and conducting evaluations. The results show that the designed system simplifies the management of member data, savings, and loan transactions in a structured manner. Features such as integrated data input, transaction history, and automated report generation significantly improve work efficiency and reduce errors. Additionally, the user-friendly interface enhances the overall user experience for administrators. Based on usability evaluation, the system effectively meets user needs and improves cooperative operational performance. Therefore, the implementation of a UCD-based information system is an appropriate solution to support the digital transformation of cooperative services.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages business actors to utilize digital systems in managing business activities, including in the sales transaction process of services. Vins Cleaning Station Shop, which is engaged in the sale of shoe and bag washing services, still carries out a manual transaction recording process, which has the potential to cause errors in recording daily store summaries and difficulties in managing service data. This study aims to design and implement a website-based cashier system that can assist in the transaction process, summarizing the incoming and outgoing items being washed, and reporting systems every morning and evening effectively and efficiently. The methods used in this study include system analysis, system design, implementation, and system testing. The developed cashier system provides several main features including product data management, transaction recording, automatic payment calculations, and the presentation of summary reports every morning and evening. The results of this study indicate that this website-based cashier system is able to simplify the transaction process and management of service sales data at Vins Cleaning Station Shop. With this, the administrative process becomes more structured, faster, and more accurate, thereby increasing the operational efficiency of the store.

Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the most dangerous diseases and a leading cause of death among women worldwide. Clustering methods can assist in diagnosing breast cancer to determine the best course of treatment. K-Means is a widely used clustering algorithm known for its ability to handle large datasets efficiently with fast computational time. However, K-Means has a significant weakness: the number of clusters is determined randomly, resulting in suboptimal clustering outcomes. To overcome this limitation, Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is applied for automatic determination of the optimal number of clusters. PSO was selected due to its advantages, including requiring few parameters, ease of implementation, fast convergence, and low computational cost. This study uses the breast cancer dataset from the UCI Machine Learning Repository, consisting of 699 records and 10 attributes. The proposed PSO–K-Means method was evaluated using the Silhouette Coefficient and Davies-Bouldin Index. The results show that the optimal number of clusters is k = 2, achieving a Silhouette Coefficient of 0.92 and a Davies-Bouldin Index of 1.374. These results demonstrate that the PSO–K-Means method significantly outperforms standard K-Means by directly producing optimal clustering results without the need for conducting repeated experiments.

Abstract

The agricultural sector in Indonesia faces significant challenges in adopting digital technology due to user interface designs that are often too technical and complex for the general public. Although IoT-based monitoring systems are increasingly being developed, the presentation of raw data and complex graphs often leads to misinterpretation of information by non-technical users. This research aims to design an agricultural monitoring system interface specifically tailored for users without an IT background, with a focus on visual clarity and ease of interaction. Development was conducted using an Object-Oriented approach, leveraging the Unified Modeling Language (UML) to model user interaction requirements through use case, class, and sequence diagrams. The research resulted in a modern interface architecture that integrates intuitive visual metaphors, such as a 2D thermometer indicator for temperature and a water droplet icon for humidity, supported by a color-based warning system. The findings indicate that by simplifying data presentation and using familiar visual representations, the system can bridge the digital literacy gap. In conclusion, user-centered interface design significantly enhances the effectiveness of environmental parameter monitoring and promotes the adoption of sustainable smart farming technology among non-technical farm managers.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the impact of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation on the effectiveness of financial management in companies. The research uses a qualitative approach through a literature study by collecting secondary data from journals, books, and previous studies. The variables examined include ERP implementation and financial management effectiveness, with indicators such as process speed, data accuracy, system integration, and ease of information access. The results indicate that ERP implementation has a positive impact on the effectiveness of financial management, including faster financial reporting processes, reduced recording errors, and easier real-time access to information. In addition, ERP supports better integration and collaboration among company divisions. However, ERP implementation also faces several challenges, such as high investment costs, system complexity, and the need for user training. This study is expected to serve as a reference for understanding the benefits and challenges of implementing ERP in corporate financial management.

Abstract

This study aims to design a distribution substation monitoring information system at PT PLN (Persero) ULP Ampera to improve the effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy of monitoring activities that were previously carried out manually. The main problems identified include delays in disturbance detection, data recording errors, and lack of information integration, which affect decision-making processes and service quality. The research employed the User Centered Design (UCD) method, which places users at the center of every stage of system development. The research process involved field observations, interviews with Distribution Substation Administrators, solution design, prototype development using Figma, and iterative design evaluations with users. The results indicate that the designed system successfully provides secure login features, interactive monitoring dashboards, integrated substation data management, analytical data visualization, and a location-based substation map with operational status indicators. The system also offers a simple, responsive, and user-friendly interface that supports real-time monitoring and more efficient data management. Based on the evaluation results, the web-based distribution substation monitoring information system successfully meets user operational needs and supports digital transformation efforts within PT PLN (Persero) ULP Ampera.

Abstract

The rapid development of electric vehicles has encouraged the integration of Internet of Things (IoT) technology and intelligent sensor systems to improve energy efficiency, driving safety, and real-time monitoring capabilities. This study aims to analyze the implementation of IoT and smart sensors in electric vehicles as part of smart transportation systems. The research method used is a qualitative approach through literature review by collecting data from scientific journals, conference proceedings, and recent publications related to electric vehicles, IoT systems, and automotive sensors. The results show that IoT integration in electric vehicles enables real-time monitoring of battery conditions, energy consumption, vehicle location, temperature stability, and driver behavior. In addition, the use of sensors such as ultrasonic sensors, temperature sensors, GPS modules, LiDAR, and battery management sensors significantly improves operational efficiency and driving safety. However, challenges remain in terms of cybersecurity, infrastructure readiness, implementation costs, and data integration complexity. This research is expected to contribute to the development of smart electric transportation systems that are more efficient, safe, and sustainable in the future.

Abstract

PT Berkat Sawit Sukamaju utilizes an accounting information system called SawitACCT to support financial transaction processing and company financial reporting activities. However, several problems were identified, including the absence of user access rights management, unrestricted transaction modification and deletion by users, backup systems using local hard disks, and system disruptions causing data loss. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of information system controls using the COBIT 2019 framework, specifically DSS01, DSS04, and DSS05. The research method used is descriptive qualitative through observation, interviews, and documentation. The audit results indicate that DSS01 and DSS05 are at Capability Level 2 (Managed Process), while DSS04 is at Capability Level 1 (Performed Process). The findings show that the company still requires improvements in user access management, backup systems, antivirus maintenance, and server infrastructure optimization. This study concludes that improvement of information system governance is necessary to support operational continuity and information security within the company.

Abstract

The development of information technology has a significant impact on the improvement of service quality the quality of services in various fields, including health and beauty service. Beauty clinics, as one of the service facilities that continue to develop, require an effective and efficient service system to address queue problems that are still managed manually. Manual queuing systems result in long waiting times, disorderly queue management, and the accumulation of customers in the waiting room. This study aims to analyze the development of a web-based online queuing system with the application of a web tree structure to improve service efficiency at beauty clinics. The research method used is qualitative research with a literature study approach through data collection from scientific journals, books, and articles related to developing technology, online queuing systems, websites, and web trees. Research results show that a web-based online queue system is able to improve service efficiency, provide real-time queue information, reduce waiting room congestion, and increase customer satisfaction. The implementation of a web tree also helps in organizing the system's navigation structure to be more organized and easy to use. Thus, a web-based online queue system supported by a web tree becomes an effective emerging developing technological solution in improving service quality at beauty clinics.

Abstract

This study analyzes the development of e-wallet and the role of blockchain technology in digital payment systems in Indonesia. The rapid advancement of digital technology and the increasing internet penetration have encouraged the transformation of financial transactions from cash-based systems to digital payments. E-wallet services have become increasingly popular due to their practicality, speed, and efficiency in supporting daily transactions. However, the growth of digital payment systems also raises various security challenges, such as data breaches, fraud, and transaction manipulation. Therefore, blockchain technology emerges as an innovative solution that offers decentralization, transparency, and high security through immutable transaction records and distributed ledger systems. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature study approach by analyzing journals, reports, and related scientific references regarding e-wallet, fintech, and blockchain implementation in Indonesia. The results of the study indicate that blockchain implementation has a positive impact on improving transaction security, transparency, efficiency, and trust in digital payment systems. Blockchain technology can reduce fraud risks, accelerate transaction processes, minimize operational costs, and support the development of a more secure and efficient digital financial ecosystem. However, several challenges remain, including regulatory readiness, infrastructure limitations, implementation costs, and low levels of digital literacy. Therefore, collaboration between the government, fintech companies, and society is necessary to optimize blockchain implementation in Indonesia’s digital payment systems.
