Abstract

The development of information technology encourages educational institutions to have an integrated information system to support academic and administrative processes. MA Diniyah Putri, Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah still faces the problem of unintegrated data management. This study aims to design an information system enterprise architecture using The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) through the Architecture Development Method (ADM). Data collection was carried out through observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study produced an enterprise architecture blueprint that includes business, data, application, and technology architecture, as well as a gradual implementation roadmap as a guide for information system development. The application of TOGAF ADM is considered effective in producing a structured and long-term oriented information system design, and has the potential to improve information governance and support digital transformation in the MA Diniyah Putri environment of Pondok Pesantren Salafiyah Syafi'iyah.

Abstract

The development of information technology demands that educational institutions have an integrated and efficient information system. SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo requires an information system enterprise architecture design that can align business and technology needs. This study uses the TOGAF ADM framework as a design method, which includes the preliminary phase, architecture vision, business architecture, information system architecture, technology architecture, and migration planning. The result is an enterprise architecture blueprint that covers business, data, application, and technology aspects. This architecture is expected to improve data management efficiency, accelerate administrative processes, and support digital learning that is adaptive to technological developments. By implementing TOGAF ADM, SMK Ibrahimy 1 Sukorejo can develop a structured and sustainable information system, supporting the institution's vision and mission in the digital era.

Abstract

Islamic boarding school health centers play a strategic role in providing healthcare services for students and the surrounding community. However, the patient registration process is still largely conducted manually, leading to various problems such as service delays, data recording errors, and difficulties in managing and tracing patient medical histories. These conditions indicate the need for a system that is able to improve efficiency, accuracy, and overall service quality. This study aims to design an Enterprise Architecture for a web-based patient registration information system integrated with Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) technology using the TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) with the Architecture Development Method (ADM) approach. The research adopts a qualitative-descriptive method through observation, interviews, and documentation studies to identify system requirements and existing business process problems. The results of this study are presented in the form of an architectural blueprint that includes business architecture, data architecture, application architecture, and technology architecture. The proposed business architecture transforms the registration process from a manual system into a digital one by utilizing RFID cards as an automatic patient identification medium. The data and application architectures are designed to support integrated patient data management, while the technology architecture focuses on the use of a web-based system, a centralized database, and RFID devices as the main operational support. The findings indicate that the implementation of Enterprise Architecture based on TOGAF ADM combined with RFID technology is able to improve the efficiency of the registration process, minimize data entry errors, accelerate service delivery, and enhance the security and availability of patient information. Therefore, the blueprint produced in this study can serve as a strategic reference for the development and implementation of an integrated information system in Islamic boarding school health centers.

Abstract

This study aims to design the user interface and user experience (UI/UX) of a web-based ticket booking system for Bird Park Palembang. Currently, the ticket purchasing process is still conducted manually at the ticket counter, which results in long queues, limited access to information, and inefficient services, particularly during weekends and public holidays. In addition, Bird Park does not yet have an official website that provides centralized information regarding ticket prices and operating hours.This research employs a qualitative approach using the Design Thinking method, which consists of five stages: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Data were collected through direct interviews with Bird Park employees and visitors, field observations of the ticket purchasing process, and documentation of the promotional media used. The empathize stage was carried out to identify user problems and needs, which were then formulated in the define stage. Design solutions were developed during the ideate stage and implemented in the form of a UI/UX website prototype. Furthermore, the test stage involved users to evaluate ease of use, clarity of information, and interface comfort.The results indicate that the proposed UI/UX design is able to improve the efficiency of the ticket booking process and provide a better user experience compared to the manual system. Therefore, the application of the Design Thinking method is effective in producing a UI/UX design that meets user needs and supports improvements in service quality at Bird Park Palembang.

Abstract

Large Language Models (LLMs) have transformed modern chatbots into systems capable of natural interaction and understanding conversational context across various domains, such as education, healthcare, and customer service. However, this advancement presents a major challenge in the form of a "black box" nature that conceals the model's decision-making logic. This condition hinders user trust, complicates the debugging process, and raises ethical concerns in high-risk domains such as medical diagnosis and financial consulting. Explainable AI (xAI) has emerged as an approach to make AI decision-making processes more transparent and comprehensible to both developers and end-users. This study conducts a systematic review of 103 recent studies (2020-2025) to map xAI techniques applied to modern chatbots. The analysis reveals that technical methods such as attention mechanisms and feature importance analysis dominate xAI implementation, with an emerging trend toward the use of natural language explanations for end-users. The main contributions of this research include identifying the trade-off between model performance and interpretability, the need for standardized evaluation metrics, and the limited ecological validity of research conducted primarily in controlled laboratory settings. This review emphasizes that xAI is a fundamental requirement—not merely an additional feature—for building responsible and trustworthy conversational AI systems. The study also proposes future research directions, namely the development of domain-specific xAI frameworks, cross-cultural studies, and the formulation of robust ethical guidelines to ensure that AI benefits can be achieved without compromising accountability and user autonomy.

Abstract

Software quality is a crucial aspect in mobile application development, particularly for social media applications with high user interaction and intensive usage. TikTok, as one of the most widely used short-video-based social media applications, requires optimal operational quality to ensure a satisfactory user experience. This study evaluates the quality of the TikTok Android application using the McCall method, focusing on Product Operation factors. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to TikTok users. The analyzed quality factors include correctness, reliability, efficiency, integrity, and usability. Data were analyzed using weighted scoring based on the McCall model to determine the overall quality level. The results indicate that the TikTok Android application is in the good category, with correctness (84.2%) and efficiency (75%) scoring highest. However, reliability (50.4%), integrity (51.8%), and usability (52.6%) were rated fair, indicating areas for improvement. This study provides insights for developers to enhance software quality and serves as a reference for future research on mobile social media application evaluation.

Abstract

The use of technology in education has rapidly developed, particularly in assessment methods. This study aims to analyze the acceptance of Quizizz in learning by applying the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and the Intrinsic Motivation Inventory (IMI) approaches. Data were collected from 222 respondents at SMPN 3 Susukan who actively used Quizizz and were analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The analysis results show that in the TAM model, Attitude Toward Using (AM) had the strongest influence on Behavioral Intention (BI) (β = 0.744; p < 0.001), while Self-Efficacy (SE) and Technology Facilitating Conditions (TF) significantly influenced Perceived Ease of Use (PEU). However, Perceived Usefulness (PU) and PEU did not have a significant effect on BI. Meanwhile, the IMI model showed that intrinsic motivation has not formed a strong structural pattern in explaining technology acceptance. The study concludes that cognitive-perceptual factors are more dominant than affective-motivational factors in influencing acceptance.

Abstract

The advancement of digital technology encourages organizations to have representative online information media. Koperasi Karya Bersama MEPI (KKBM) as an economic institution does not yet have an official website, so information regarding its profile, activities, and services is still conveyed manually. This study aims to develop a web-based company profile website using the Laravel framework with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method. The research results include a website featuring profile pages, announcements, documentation, member data, as well as admin and member login systems. This website is expected to serve as a transparent, professional digital information medium that supports the digitization of the cooperative. Functional testing shows that all features work properly and meet user needs. This company profile website contributes significantly to enhancing KKBM's digital image and communication effectiveness.

Abstract

The development of information technology encourages various institutions to carry out digital transformation, including in the electricity sector. PT PLN (Persero) Unit Layanan Pelanggan (ULP) Ampera has the responsibility to maintain the reliability of electricity distribution, one of which is through the maintenance of the Right of Way (ROW). However, the ROW maintenance process is still carried out manually, starting from recording work locations, monitoring field activities, to reporting work results. This condition causes data management to be less effective, time-consuming, and prone to recording errors. This study aims to design a web-based ROW maintenance information system to support monitoring, recording, and reporting processes in a more structured and integrated manner. The system design is carried out by utilizing Figma as a collaborative design tool to produce a user-friendly interface and to involve users in the development process. The software development method used is the waterfall method, which includes the stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing. The results of this study are in the form of a ROW maintenance information system design that is able to integrate maintenance data into a centralized platform. This system is expected to improve the effectiveness of data management, accelerate decision-making processes, and support the reliability of electricity distribution networks at PT PLN ULP Ampera. In addition, this research provides practical experience for students in applying information system knowledge to real-world problems in the workplace.
