Abstract

Homosexuality itself is not something new; in fact, it has existed as a societal phenomenon in the past, such as in the cities of Sodom, Amurah, Adma', Sabubim, and Bala'. In this article, we will only discuss the effectiveness of controlling homosexual deviations in Rutan (Detention Center) Class IIB Sukadana. Using qualitative methodology, particularly by studying various literature as analytical material and addressing the issues through narrative form, the research findings indicate that deviant behavior can occur anywhere, both within families and in society. The tendency towards such behavior is influenced by individual personality factors, primarily biological factors such as genetic influences in shaping such personalities. Meanwhile, social heredity is mostly influenced by incorrect forms of socialization. The supportive factors for community leaders in preventing LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender) behavior include community participation in combating LGBT behavior and support from the government and religious and formal educational institutions. On the other hand, there are factors that hinder the efforts to minimize LGBT behavior.

Abstract

This study explores Hindu marriage history, system, ritual, rite, type, and interfaith marriage in Hinduism and various castes, and the Bollywood movie industry in India, focusing on the sacred bonds formed beyond religious beliefs. It tries to clarify how Hindu marriage rituals are components of various religions and traditional customs among castes, encouraging inclusivity and peace. This paper uses descriptive qualitative methodology through the analysis of past scholars’ papers, chanting mantras, and the last 120 years of the Indian census for the women and male ratio per thousand. Hinduism embraces diversity and adapts to accommodate various religious and cultural backgrounds, allowing couples to celebrate their love while honoring their respective traditions. Especially in Bollywood, where interfaith marriage is common. The last 10 decades have seen a decrease in the number of women, but according to the 2021 Indian Census, the women's ratio has increased over the last 12 decades. The situation will increase the number of interfaith couples, and interfaith marriage rituals in Hinduism will serve as a bridge between different faiths, promoting unity and understanding among diverse communities.

Abstract

National integrity is a core aspect of state development, stability and legitimacy. The issue of national integrity becomes especially important in countries such as Bangladesh, where democratic institutions overlap with governance challenges. The article is a qualitative inquiry into some of the key determinants and barriers of national integrity that have been compiled from a broad array of academic and institutional sources. It explores the roles of corruption, institutional trust, rule of law, governance quality, public accountability, civic virtue, and political culture, taking into account recent determinants such as citizen engagement and integrity systems. The paper critically discusses the current discourse and assesses empirical lessons learned on how structural, behavioral, and cultural conditions influence the overall integrity at large (national) scale. By highlighting and analyzing these dynamics, this research illuminates, not just the predicaments and innovations in contemporary Bangladesh, but also wider theories concerning the dynamics of good governance and nation-building. This is the only study employing an integrated approach that combines multi-sectors without primary data to provide an inclusive and well-informed knowledge base, based on confirmed and up-to-date published literature. It fills a critical void in current literature, which has tended to isolate integrity concerns rather

Abstract

Gender politics is a critical field of study that examines the power dynamics, social structures, and policy frameworks that influence and are influenced by notions of gender. This abstract provides an overview of the gender perspective within gender politics and delves into the challenges it encounters. Gender politics scrutinizes how societal norms, cultural expectations, and institutional arrangements shape individuals' roles and experiences based on their gender identity. By analyzing the intersections of gender with other axes of identity, such as race, class, and sexuality, gender politics seeks to expose inequalities and promote inclusivity. However, gender politics faces multifaceted challenges in its pursuit of equality and justice. One key challenge is the resistance to change from individuals and institutions invested in maintaining traditional power dynamics. Pushback against gender-inclusive policies, women's leadership, and LGBTQ+ rights underscore the deeply ingrained nature of these challenges. The struggle to dismantle ingrained stereotypes and gendered expectations poses another hurdle. Prevailing narratives that associate masculinity with strength and femininity with passivity can perpetuate discrimination and limit individuals' opportunities, reinforcing harmful binaries. Overcoming these narratives requires concerted efforts in education, media representation, and public discourse. Furthermore, navigating the global nature of gender politics presents complexities. Different cultures, histories, and levels of development result in diverse gender-related issues across societies. While some regions make strides in gender equality, others grapple with basic rights and access to resources, necessitating tailored approaches within a universal framework. The digital age introduces both opportunities and challenges for gender politics. Online platforms can amplify marginalized voices and facilitate organizing, but they also expose individuals to cyberbullying, harassment, and harmful stereotypes. Balancing the positive potential of technology with its negative consequences requires ongoing attention. The struggle for gender equality also intersects with economic disparities. Gender pays gaps, unequal distribution of unpaid care work, and limited access to economic resources disproportionately affect women and marginalized gender identities. Addressing these economic aspects is pivotal for achieving comprehensive gender justice. In conclusion, the gender perspective within gender politics critically analyzes power dynamics and strives for equitable representation and treatment. The challenges it faces, ranging from resistance to change and entrenched stereotypes to global variations and technological impacts, necessitate collaborative efforts across academia, activism, policy-making, and society at large. By acknowledging and addressing these challenges, gender politics can contribute to reshaping societies into more inclusive, just, and equal spaces for all genders.

Abstract

This study investigated the effect of foliar application of urea on the growth and yield of radish (Raphanus sativus L.) under field conditions in Parwan province, Afghanistan. A randomized complete block design (RCBD) with five treatments (0 g/L, 1 g/L, 2 g/L, 3 g/L, and 4 g/L urea) and three replications was used. Results indicated that foliar application of urea significantly improved plant growth and yield parameters. The highest values for plant height, leaf number, root length, root diameter, and root fresh weight were recorded at 3 g/L and 4 g/L urea concentrations, with 4 g/L producing the maximum. These findings suggest that foliar urea application enhances nitrogen use efficiency, increases radish productivity, and offers a sustainable approach to vegetable production in Afghanistan.

Abstract

MSMEs make a significant contribution to the Indonesian economy, particularly in terms of job creation and income distribution. However, challenges in marketing often hinder business development. This study aims to explore marketing aspects in the business feasibility study of Cak Narto's Javanese Fried Rice MSME in Surabaya using a descriptive qualitative approach. The analysis focuses on the elements of the marketing mix, including product, price, place, and promotion. The research findings indicate that, in terms of product, the business has a high level of feasibility due to the consistency of taste and the diversity of menu options offered. From a pricing perspective, the uniform and affordable pricing policy is considered effective in attracting and retaining customers. The strategic and easily accessible location of the business also supports its sustainability from a place perspective. However, the promotion aspect still has limitations, where marketing strategies rely more on direct communication and word-of-mouth methods, while the use of social media is still minimal. Therefore, optimizing digital promotion strategies is recommended to expand market reach and enhance the business's competitiveness. This study provides insights into the importance of marketing aspects in determining the viability and sustainability of culinary SMEs, while highlighting the need for innovation in marketing strategies to support more optimal business growth.

Abstract

Cooperatives and Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a strategic role in promoting financial inclusion in rural communities. MSMEs have demonstrated resilience during economic crises but still face significant challenges, particularly in terms of capital and marketing. Financial inclusion serves as a solution to improve MSMEs' access to financial services through both conventional and digital institutions. As community-based financial institutions, cooperatives have the advantage of providing inclusive financial services through savings and loans systems, financial education, and mutual economic support. The financial inclusion model implemented by cooperatives not only expands financial access for low-income communities but also strengthens local economic independence. This article analyzes cooperative strategies for enhancing financial accessibility, including their adaptation to financial technology to accelerate MSME financial inclusion. The study findings indicate that strengthening cooperative institutions and integrating them into the national financial system are crucial steps in ensuring the sustainable role of cooperatives and MSMEs in regional economic development.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Indonesia play a vital role in the national economy, particularly in providing employment and contributing to Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This study aims to analyze the strategic role of MSME in supporting Indonesia’s economy amid global dynamics, focusing on the adaptive strategies implemented by MSME owners to respond to various challenges. The research employs a qualitative approach, with data gathered through interviews and literature review. The findings indicate that MSME in Indonesia continue to adapt to technological advancements, such as digital marketing and product innovation, to maintain their competitiveness. However, MSME still face challenges, including limited access to financing, complex regulations, and low levels of financial and digital literacy. The government has introduced various policies to support MSME development, but there is still a gap in their implementation across Indonesia. This study recommends enhancing access to financing, expanding financial and digital literacy training, and enacting more pro-MSME policies to encourage the sustainability and growth of this sector.
