Abstract

This research aims to explore the role of microteaching in increasing the self-confidence of prospective teachers. Microteaching is a learning method that involves teaching simulations on a small scale, where students practice their teaching skills in the presence of a small group of peers or mentors. The method used is the literature method by identifying and analyzing findings from previous research which highlight the relationship between microteaching and increasing self-confidence. Through collecting data from various literature sources such as scientific journals, textbooks, and research reports, researchers can formulate strong arguments regarding the positive impact of microteaching on the self-confidence of prospective teachers..

Abstract

There are clear differences between quantitative and qualitative research. Therefore, it is important for novice researchers to understand the components of quantitative research.  Many consider this research very difficult because it involves numbers in it. The purpose of this study is to explain the components of quantitative research to make it easier for novice researchers. The method in this study uses a conceptual approach with descriptive analysis. Problems in quantitative research are clear and not temporary. The classification of problems is a) descriptive problems, b) comparative problems c) associative problems. The variable that causes other variables is called the independent variable (X). The variable that is the result of causing other variables is called the independent variable (Y). The population is all subjects involved in the generalisation of the object. While the sample is part of the population. Taking it with sampling techniques. The theory of quantitative contains basic concepts relevant to problems and variables. The goal is to formulate hypotheses and instruments. Quantitative hypothesis is a temporary research conjecture. The form is Ha indicates the presence and H0 indicates the absence. Data from quantitative is statistical analysis.

Abstract

In quantitative research, variables, research instruments and data collection are very important to include. To provide understanding to determine the focus and objectives of research. A researcher will be more helped in conducting research if he arranges the variables correctly, because variables refer to increasing the validity and reliability of a research.  The results of this research show that: 1) the definition of variables, research instruments and data collection methods in quantitative research. Variables are targets in research that have varying values. Research instruments are tools used to obtain, process and interpret information obtained from all respondents. Meanwhile, the quantitative data collection method is a systematic way of collecting information that can be measured statistically. 2) Types of variables and data instruments. There are 2, namely discrete variables and continuous variables. The types of quantitative research instruments are structured questionnaires, unstructured questionnaires, semi-structured questionnaires, Likert questionnaires, semantic questionnaires, Guttman questionnaires, interval questionnaires, nominal questionnaires, ratio questionnaires. 3) Quantitative data collection techniques, namely using surveys and experiments, can also use interviews, observation and documentation and adapting existing procedures in quantitative research.

Abstract

This research uses a qualitative descriptive method. Through a media text analysis approach with a focus on the issue of reporting on Putri Ariani. This type of qualitative research means that the researcher describes physical conditions and social conditions based on actual facts and data. Robert N Entman's analysis has four dimensions in the analysis, namely, Defining Problems, Diagnosing Causes, Moral Judgment/Evaluation, Treatment Recommendation. Where each news item will be analyzed one by one to find out the pattern of news construction created by the two media. Through media text analysis of Robert N Entman's framing model, the researcher draws conclusions regarding the formulation of the research problem. The author concludes that the frame built by Liputan6.com looks at the news. that Putri Ariani became the public spotlight after her stunning performance at America's Got Talent 2023. Meanwhile, the frame built by Kompas.com saw the news about Putri Ariani as a fact that could be seen in foreign media.

Abstract

Wakalah in the sense of submission, delegation, or giving a mandate is also found in the word Al-hifzhu which means maintenance. Therefore, the use of the word wakalah or wikalah is considered to have the same meaning as hifzhun. In the business world, everyone has different competencies. There are times when people have competence in a competitive business field but do not have capital. On the other hand, there are capital owners who do not have the time or are less competitive in the field, so they need a business partner with a representative pattern. Representing work that you can do yourself is considered valid according to sharia. Such as buying and selling, marriage, thalaq, membership, pawning and others related to muamalat. Representing something related to worship, there are some jobs that are permissible and there are some that are not permissible according to sharia'.

Abstract

Javanese chilies are known to contain secondary metabolite compounds in extracts using 96% ethanol, ethyl acetate and n-hexane as solvents. The aim of the research was to determine the secondary metabolite compounds contained in Javanese chili extract using 96% ethanol, ethyl acetate and n-hexane as solvents. The research was conducted in the Pharmacy laboratory of the Islamic University of Madura. The extraction method used is the ultrasonic method using 3 types of solvents, namely 96% ethanol, ethyl acetate, n-hexane. Qualitative testing uses the Phytochemical screening method to determine the content of secondary metabolite compounds such as alkaloids, saponins, flavonoids, tannins and steroids. The research results showed that qualitative testing using the phytochemical screening method with different solvents showed that the extract using 96% ethanol solvent contained secondary metabolite compounds of alkaloids, tannins, saponins and steroids. Extracts with ethyl acetate solvent contain secondary metabolite compounds of alkaloids, tannins and saponins. The extract with n-hexane solvent only contains secondary steroid metabolite compounds. The conclusion of this study shows that different polar properties of the solvent can influence the content of secondary metabolite compounds found in Javanese chili extracts using a phytochemical screening test.

Abstract

Parental divorce is a complex issue that has a significant impact on children, both from a psychological, social and educational perspective. This research analyzes the impact of divorce on children, focusing on psychological, social and educational aspects. Through literature studies from various sources, this research found that divorce can cause children to experience emotional trauma, adjustment difficulties, behavioral problems, learning difficulties, and decreased achievement. Children who are victims of divorce are also vulnerable to mental problems, such as low self-esteem, easily giving up hope, apathy, and even criminal acts. This research emphasizes the important role of parents, teachers, social workers and the government in providing support and protection to children who are victims of divorce. The importance of public awareness about the impact of divorce on children was also emphasized.

Abstract

Madura Island in Indonesia is known for its distinctive culture and unique social and economic dynamics. One of the important traditions in the Madurese socio-economic context is sangkolan, a local practice related to the distribution of wealth within society. The sangkolan tradition has been passed down from generation to generation and still plays an important role in remote villages in Madura. This research aims to analyze the influence of the sangkolan tradition on the distribution of wealth in Madura using a political economic approach. This approach was chosen to understand how local power structures, resource distribution, and socio-economic relations influence wealth distribution patterns among Madurese society. Furthermore, this research explores the role of sangkolan in maintaining the status quo of wealth and power or as a tool for more equitable redistribution. Through political economic analysis, this article reveals how the practice of sangkolan is an important factor in determining wealth distribution patterns in Madura, not only as a symbol of cultural identity, but also as a mechanism that has a real impact on the social and economic structure of society.

Abstract

Indonesia's economy is highly dependent on cooperation with other countries, especially in the field of imports and exports, and has a certain influence on its economic growth. The aim of this qualitative research is to explain how the US-China trade war has an impact on Indonesia's political economy. Qualitative research collects descriptive data from people's written and spoken behavior and words. This research collects data by reading documents or literature about trade wars and information from the internet. The US-China trade war is actually a big market opportunity to bridge the market gap between the two countries, so the impact of this trade war on Indonesia itself is not too big. This is because the products targeted in the trade war are not products that Indonesia exports to these two countries.
