Abstract

The practice of policy transfer has been known since 315 BC, but conceptually it has been increasingly discussed by policy experts in the world in the last 30 years. In the Indonesian context, the application of policy transfers has been increasingly adopted by policymakers in the last ten years or so. In practice, policy transfer is an alternative that makes it easier for policymakers to make new policies. Policy transfer facilitates learning of good policy practices from various initiating countries so as to minimize failure. The transfer process is easier to build when a network or relationship is established between the actors acting as the source of the transfer, the recipient of the transfer, or other related parties. This study analyzes the implementation of policy transfers that have occurred in Indonesia in the last ten years (2012-2022) through 4 stages of Systematic Literature Review, namely 1) Pre-SLR; 2) Identification, 3) Screening, and 4) Eligibility. There were 31 selected publications which were further analyzed based on three criteria: 1) Fields/areas where policy transfer was applied, 2) Research methods conducted, and 3) Policy transfer analysis. Topics related to the analysis of policy transfers produce 5 sub-topics that can be studied further, namely: Transfer products, Transfer Loci, Policy Actors, Forms of Transfers, and Transfer Processes

Abstract

In its development, corruption in Indonesia has increased from year to year, both in terms of the quality or amount of state financial losses and the quality of how it is carried out in a sophisticated and systematic manner, and has even penetrated across national borders. Therefore, handling corruption, especially in order to maximize the recovery of state losses, requires a comprehensive approach, as well as through international cooperation. This research found the fact that the asset confiscation mechanism using a non-penal approach is more effective and efficient. This argument is based on the fact that because there is no need to confirm the crime of corruption as long as the perpetrator's assets are suspected to be illegal assets of corruption, this shortens the time. Confiscation of property or assets using non-penal means is more efficient when compared to confiscation of property or assets through civil means in accordance with the provisions of the Corruption Eradication Law (PTPK) which is legal in Indonesia. Because if in a criminal case using civil law it is the same as placing the burden on the prosecutor to carry out proof, then it actually increases the number of things that might happen, namely reconvention lawsuits against the prosecutor as the plaintiff. The asset confiscation mechanism using a non-penal approach no longer focuses on chasing perpetrators but rather following the movement of money so that the number of corruption in Indonesia is expected to decrease.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors influencing purchasing decisions on the shopee e-commerce platform. It analyzed factors such as celebrity endorser, price, and social media influence the purchase decision in Jakarta City, both directly and indirectly mediated by brand image. The research used quantitative methods and was processed using AMOS. The survey was conducted on 15o respondents who met the respondent criteria using purposive, non-probability sampling. The research found that celebrity endorsers and social media did not significantly influence the purchase decision. Meanwhile, price and brand image had a significant influence on purchase decisions. However, after being mediated by brand image, celebrity endorsers showed a more significant influence on purchase decisions. Social media also showed a more significant influence on purchase decisions. In contrast, price's influence on purchase decisions was less significant even after being mediated by brand image. The limitation of the research was the limited respondents, with 150 respondents domiciled in Jakarta who had purchased on the shopee e-commerce platform. This research could be generalized more widely if the samples were taken not only from Jakarta City. The implications of this research provided managerial contributions to the online shop industry, especially an overview of online consumer behavior and an understanding of the factors influencing increased purchase decisions, such as celebrity endorsers, prices, social media, and brand image, so merchants can develop a business strategic plan that aligns with internal and external company conditions.

Abstract

Ciamsi, a long-standing historical legacy, continues to be popular to this day, serving as concrete evidence of its enduring appeal. Spanning the tumultuous shifts of historical epochs, Ciamsi has persevered and been preserved within various temples, both large and small, playing a pivotal role as a divination tool. The enduring presence of Ciamsi not only underscores its unquestionable intrinsic value but also reflects the unwavering spirit of Chinese tradition and its cultural heritage. Consequently, this research is deeply rooted in the environment of centuries-old temples in Jakarta, where Ciamsi has become an inseparable part of the local cultural fabric. The primary objective of this research is to delve profoundly into the intricate meanings and interpretations embedded within Ciamsi. Additionally, the research aims to unveil the profound role of symbolism within the realm of Ciamsi, as employed by Vihara Dharma Bhakti and Vihara Dharma Jaya Toasebio. To achieve these objectives, this study employs the comprehensive hermeneutical framework introduced by the eminent philosopher, Paul Ricouer. This research fundamentally aligns with the qualitative research paradigm, enabling a profound and nuanced understanding of the subject matter.

Abstract

The realm of skincare, which was traditionally associated with women's needs, has undergone a significant shift where there is now an equal demand for skincare among men. The surge in demand for men's skincare products was particularly noticeable in the year 2020. This need was addressed by a renowned company, PT. Paragon Technology and Innovation, which innovatively launched a specialized brand for men's skincare called Kahf. Considering the current trend of utilizing social media for marketing purposes, the author was intrigued to examine how Kahf, as a specialized brand for men, carries out its marketing activities. Additionally, the study aims to explore the followers' response regarding their trust in using Kahf as their skincare choice, as well as their brand experience throughout the usage of the brand. These three variables are mediated by the presence of relational bonds to shape behavioral intentions. The research sample consists of 80 Instagram followers of @Kahfeveryday, and the data will be analyzed using the SmartPLS 3.0 measurement tool and bootstrapping technique. The research findings indicate that this men's facial skincare product exhibits a distinct treatment approach, differing in terms of the habits and strategies employed by the brand compared to the skincare marketing targeted towards women. Abstract

In the future, the child plays an important role in shaping the history, country and way of life of a country. In other words, children are the next generation of the nation. However, the potential for criminal behavior is also inherent in children. One of them is through theft. The factors that underlie children committing theft include family, environment, and even self. This study aims to determine and examine the factors that cause children to commit theft, as well as the efforts made to prevent this occurrence and law enforcement. This legal research uses descriptive analysis techniques by combining sociological or empirical approaches. Based on the results of the study, the main factors that encourage young people to commit theft in the Ngawi region are family, education, and economic factors. Poor education, weak economy, and a less harmonious family environment due to family conditions that are no longer intact due to divorce or death of parents, become additional factors in themselves. As a result, children lose positive role models on how to live their lives. To overcome this, efforts are needed to handle it as early as possible with various approaches and patterns of prevention, repressive, and curative handling.
