Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine (1) How the strategies that have been carried out by frontliners in maximizing customer services using the Muamalat DIN (Digital Islamic Network) Application at Bank Muamalat KC Payakumbuh; (2) What are the obstacles and conveniences that customers feel when using the Muamalat DIN (Digital Islamic Network) application at Bank Muamalat KC Payakumbuh. This research is a field research using descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects in this study are Bank Muamalat KC Payakumbuh, especially in the service department or frontliner of 3 people and several customers of Bank Muamalat KC Payakumbuh. The data collection technique in this study uses observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study show that (1) In maximizing customer services using the Muamalat DIN Bank Muamalat KC Payakumbuh application. Bank Muamalat's frontliners implement customer service strategies and marketing mixes, by directly visiting customers, ATMs, SMS blasts, sales calls, and old mobile banking. (2) Based on the strategy that has been carried out by the bank frontliner, of course, there are obstacles and ease in carrying out their work. The obstacle faced was the problem of the network suddenly going down and when educating elderly customers to use Muamalat DIN. Meanwhile, the convenience felt is that it makes it easier to control account balances, saves in any aspect, and reduces transactions in the office

Abstract

This research examines the impact of Online Shopping Satisfaction on Repeat Purchases among students of the 2020 class of the Sharia Banking department at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. A quantitative approach was chosen for this study. In data analysis, several stages were applied: first, instrument testing, which includes validity and reliability tests; second, classical assumption testing, which involves normality tests; third, hypothesis testing, consisting of simple linear regression analysis, correlation coefficient tests, determination tests, and finally, t-tests. In this research, data processing was conducted using SPSS version 26 software. The statistical t-test analysis identified that the Online Shopping Satisfaction variable (X) has a significant effect on Repeat Purchases (Y), with a t-statistic value of 5.496, which exceeds the critical t-value of 1.991. Furthermore, the determination coefficient analysis revealed that Online Shopping Satisfaction (X) contributes 28.2% to Repeat Purchases (Y). In comparison, the remaining 71.8% is influenced by other factors not explained in this study

Abstract

Indonesia has experienced rapid economic growth, especially in the SME (Small and Medium Enterprises) sector. However, this growth is often hampered by limited access to capital and financing. As a solution, Fintech Lending has emerged as an innovative alternative source of funding. This study aims to analyze the role of Fintech Lending in supporting the optimization of income for small businesses in Indonesia. The method used is qualitative analysis with a literature study approach, involving data collection from various reliable and relevant sources. Research findings indicate that Fintech Lending provides ease of access to funding with a faster process and more flexible requirements compared to traditional financial institutions. This allows small business owners to expand operations, innovate, and ultimately optimize their business income. In addition, the transparency and fair credit assessment mechanisms of Fintech Lending help to build trust among small business players. Nonetheless, regulatory challenges and credit risks need to be considered to ensure the sustainability of this funding model. This research provides insights for stakeholders about the importance of integrating financial innovation and adequate regulatory support to advance the SME sector in Indonesia.

Abstract

The research utilizes data sourced from Central Bureau of Statistics in Indonesia covering the years 2021-2022 for each district in West Java. The dataset includes variables such as Literacy Rates and Number of Poor People, comprising a total of 108 data points across 27 districts. This quantitative approach aims to investigate the interplay between Literacy Rates and poverty using the Structural Equation Modeling method with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) in SmartPLS 4. The study seeks to provide insights into how changes in Literacy Rates influence poverty dynamics within the province. The research finds a significant negative relationship (-0.299) between Literacy Rate and the Number of Poor People. This indicates that as Literacy Rate increases, there is a corresponding decrease in poverty levels within the province. The findings underscore the critical role of literacy in socio-economic development, highlighting its impact on educational attainment, economic opportunities, health outcomes, and community engagement.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of leverage, company size, and liquidity on sukuk yields and to determine the influence of inflation moderating the relationship between leverage, company size, and liquidity variables on sukuk yields. The data used is Corporate Sukuk through a public offering as of December 2023 on the official website of the Financial Services Authority (OJK), the Indonesia Central Securities Depository (KSEI), the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) and financial statements issued by their respective companies in 2022 – 2023. This research is a comparative causal research, which analyzes the causal relationship between two or more variables. The variables used in this study are several fundamental factors of financial performance, namely Leverage proxied by Debt of Equity (DER), Company Size (Size), and Liquidity proxied by Current Ratio (CR), as independent variables and sukuk yield proxied by Yield To Maturity (YTM) as a dependent variable with Inflation as the moderating variable.  The research population in this study is 54 companies that issue corporate sukuk. This sampling technique uses Purposive Sampling, 30 company samples were obtained. The data processing method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis test and moderate regression analysis using EViews 12. The results of this study show that leverage (DER), company size, and liquidity simultaneously have no effect on sukuk yield, leverage (DER) partially affects sukuk yield, company size partially has no effect on sukuk yield, liquidity partially has no effect on sukuk yield, and inflation does not strengthen the relationship between leverage, company size, and liquidity to sukuk yield.

Abstract

This research explores the role of technology applications in balancing supply and demand in the global market through a synthesis of recent literature studies. Information and Communication Technology (ICT) such as e-commerce, big data analytics, and other digital platforms have shown significant roles in enhancing market efficiency. E-commerce facilitates consumers in obtaining products quickly and enables sellers to reach broader markets, reducing geographical barriers. Big data and AI technologies assist in demand prediction and inventory management, while IoT and blockchain improve transparency and efficiency in the supply chain. Although these technology applications offer numerous benefits, challenges such as significant investments, the need for specialized skills, and issues of data security and privacy remain substantial barriers. This research concludes that the appropriate application of technology can support the balance of supply and demand, improve market efficiency, and contribute to sustainable economic growth. Continuous evaluation and the development of adequate technological infrastructure are necessary to fully leverage the potential of technology in the modern economy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze effective credit risk management strategies in improving financial stability in the banking sector through the literature study method. Various relevant literatures were analyzed to identify key strategies in credit risk management. The main findings of this study indicate that the implementation of a strict and continuous credit supervision system, including periodic evaluation and the use of analytical technology for early risk detection, is essential. Credit portfolio diversification was identified as an effective method to reduce concentration risk and prevent large losses in one sector or region. In addition, data-driven credit assessment processes and advanced risk models are crucial to improving credit quality. The research also emphasized the importance of adequate reserves and provisions as a buffer against potential losses. In addition, human resource development through regular training was identified as an important aspect in strengthening risk management capabilities. The study also underscores the importance of compliance with international banking regulations such as Basel III in maintaining financial stability. Overall, the study concludes that implementing a comprehensive credit risk management strategy can significantly create a more resilient and stable banking system amidst global economic fluctuations

Abstract

This research investigates omnichannel strategies in marketing and their effects on increasing revenue and business sustainability. By reviewing relevant literature and case studies, this research identifies that the omnichannel approach, which integrates online and offline marketing channels to create a seamless customer experience, has a significant contribution to improving the financial performance and long-term sustainability of businesses. The findings show that an omnichannel strategy helps companies understand customer behavior more deeply, personalize offers, and increase customer satisfaction and loyalty. In addition, effective adaptation of information technology in support of omnichannel is proven to improve operational efficiency and strengthen the business's competitive position in the market. Thus, the implementation of an omnichannel strategy not only restructures the way companies interact with customers, but also plays an important role in strengthening the foundation of the business for future growth and sustainability. This research provides insights for business stakeholders on the importance of adopting and continuously updating omnichannel strategies to improve business performance and competitiveness.

Abstract

This quantitative research aims to investigate the relationship between Human Development Index (HDI) and Economic Growth across 38 districts in East Java, Indonesia, using data from Badan Pusat Statistik for the years 2022-2023. The study employs Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) methodology using SmartPLS to analyze the data. The path analysis revealed a statistically significant positive relationship between HDI and Economic Growth, suggesting that improvements in human development contribute significantly to economic advancement in the region. Based on these findings, recommendations include enhancing investments in education, healthcare, and infrastructure to further strengthen human capital and stimulate economic growth in East Java.

Abstract

According to the Creative Economy Agency, there are still many MSMEs that do not have good financial records so that they are not able to prepare financial reports. Indonesian business actors still record their business finances and stocks manually. In fact, digitizing the recording process in business is not only to make it easier, but also to improve the accuracy of inventory and financial reports which have an impact on long-term business credibility. The development of technology is utilized by Bank Indonesia (BI) in collaboration with the Indonesian Accountants Association (IAI) to help MSMEs by launching a financial transaction recording application that is in accordance with SAK EMKM called the Financial Information Recording Application Information System (SI APIK). This study aims to implement digital financial recording using the SI APIK application in MSMEs in accordance with applicable accounting standards. The research method that the author uses is qualitative which is an approach in conducting research that is oriented towards natural phenomena or symptoms with data collection techniques including: observation, interviews, and literature studies. The results of this study found that the application of financial records through the SI APIK application in MSMEs can determine the net profit obtained by these MSMEs and can make financial reports on businesses that are run in accordance with the financial accounting standards of micro, small and medium entities.
