Abstract

Purpose: The purpose of this community service activity is to assist in the reporting of tax returns (SPT) using electronic forms (e-Forms) and to provide a comprehensive understanding of the community and business actors. It is expected to empower and enhance the understanding of annual tax reporting for residents and business actors in Purworejo Village, Negeri Katon District, and the Pesawaran Regency. Methodology: The implementation of this community service uses the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) method, a technique that enables the community to participate in making real action plans and monitoring and evaluating policies that affect their lives. Results: Through the training and socialization organized in this community service, business actors in the village became more aware of their tax obligations. Consequently, they are more diligent in recording their business transactions and income, enabling them to complete the e-Form SPT more accurately. Limitation: The results of this research may be difficult to announce because conditions in Purworejo Village may differ significantly from other villages or areas, making it difficult to generalize the findings. Contribution: By using digital technology and e-Form SPT, MSMEs can be more effective in fulfilling their tax reporting obligations and managing their administration. This activity encourages MSMEs to adopt modern technology, increase tax compliance, and reduce administrative burden.

Abstract

Purpose: This community service program aimed to improve the ability of students at STIE Krakatau to use e-learning effectively for distance learning, adapt to diverse learning styles, and increase engagement in online classes. Methodology/approach: The activity was conducted through a three-hour seminar and workshop held in the computer laboratory at STIE Krakatau. The development of an adaptive e-learning model follows the engineering approach (analysis, design, implementation, evaluation). The tools used included multimedia authoring software and online questionnaires to assess students' visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning styles. Results/findings: The training resulted in a prototype adaptive e-learning model capable of adjusting content delivery based on students’ learning styles. Ongoing evaluations indicate improved understanding and interaction in the online learning environment. Conclutions: This program successfully introduced adaptive e-learning to STIE Krakatau students, improving their engagement and understanding of distance learning. The developed model adjusted the content to different learning styles, showing its potential to enhance the quality of online education. Broader testing is recommended to validate its effectiveness on a larger scale in the future. Limitations: The study only implemented alpha testing and involved a limited number of participants; thus, broader testing and future experimental studies are required for generalization. Contribution: This program provides practical solutions for higher-education institutions transitioning to online learning. It contributes to educational technology development, particularly in designing adaptive e-learning for diverse learners.

Abstract

Purpose: This study aims to explore the implementation of spatial planning legal policies to protect rice fields and residential areas that are vital to supporting agritourism and the growth of MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) in Penatih Dangin Puri Village, Bali. Research Methodology: A community service approach was employed, consisting of legal socialization, participatory land use training, and advocacy directed at both village authorities and regional governments. Qualitative participatory observation and documentation techniques were used to measure awareness and stakeholder engagement. Results: The program increased community understanding of spatial planning regulations and their connection to agritourism and MSME development. Stakeholders began aligning land-use practices with environmentally friendly zoning principles. Notably, early synergy emerged between village leaders and residents in preserving rice fields as agritourism assets. Conclusions: Implementing spatial planning legal policies effectively enhances local capacity for sustainable land use and economic development. Protecting agricultural and residential zones contributes to the long-term viability of agritourism and MSMEs in Bali. Limitations: The study was localized to a single village and focused on short-term awareness-building. Broader regional engagement and long-term evaluation are required to generalize findings. Contribution:This study provides a practical model for community-based spatial planning that integrates legal frameworks with sustainable tourism and MSME growth, potentially applicable to other rural tourism areas in Indonesia.

Abstract

Purpose: This service aims to increase the knowledge and skills of young women in processing milkfish into healthy snacks that are appealing, thus promoting better nutritional intake and economic opportunities in Bonto Langkasa, Minasa Te’ne District, Pangkajene and Islands Regency. Methodology/approach: This activity was carried out in Bonto Langkasa with participating adolescent girls as the main target. The project adopted a participatory approach, including nutritional counseling, hands-on training using simple, locally sourced tools, and digital marketing workshops. Materials used were fresh milkfish, healthy additives, and packaging sourced from local markets. Pre- and post-tests, as well as follow-up surveys, were conducted to measure changes in knowledge, skills, and snack production rates. Results/findings: The program successfully increased participants’ knowledge about nutrition and practical skills in producing healthy milkfish-based snacks. Several participants started small-scale production, selling snacks in their communities. The project also improved participants' digital marketing competencies. Conclusion: Community service that focuses on innovative, healthy snacks using local resources, such as milkfish, can bridge nutritional knowledge-practice gaps, contribute to adolescent health, and foster economic opportunities for young women. This model is sustainable and replicable in other fishing communities. Limitations: Milkfish snack innovation is limited by simple technology, cultural preferences, basic nutritional focus, limited digital marketing, and narrow youth coverage, requiring further studies in other regions. Contribution: The contribution of this community service is to enhance nutritional knowledge, and develop healthy snack production skills, empower young women economically, optimize local milkfish production, and expand marketing through digital means.
