Abstract

This activity aims to describe the implementation and analyze the results of education and assistance in making ecotheology posters in increasing the creativity of grade 3 students at MI Roudlotul Ulum Mojorejo. The method used is the Asset Based Community Development approach through the stages of discovery, dream, design, and destiny. The subjects of the activity amounted to eight groups of 3rd grade students with the support of five teachers and five student observers. The results showed that the environmental conditions and school support were in the very good category (80–100%). All teachers stated that students have a basic understanding of the importance of protecting the environment and show an enthusiastic character in creative activities. Analysis of eight groups of posters showed an average score of 2.67 (good category); All groups were able to convey positive messages of invitation (3.00), most of them displayed elements of protecting the environment (2.87), and associated religious values in their work (2.62). These findings are in line with the theory of cognitive development of elementary school children which emphasizes the importance of concrete and visual learning in stimulating creativity. This activity shows that asset-based mentoring is able to optimize students' potential and strengthen the character of caring for the environment through visual media. This approach is an effective participatory strategy in integrating religious values and creativity in the madrasah environment.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan pelaksanaan sosialisasi hadis tentang akhlak mulia serta menganalisis efektivitasnya dalam membentuk kesadaran religius dan etos belajar santri di Pondok Pesantren Nurul Alam Gluguran, Durin Barat, Konang, Bangkalan. Metode kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi secara formal dan nonformal berupa penyampaian materi, ceramah keagamaan, diskusi, dan keteladanan pendidik. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sosialisasi hadis berkontribusi terhadap peningkatan pemahaman santri mengenai pentingnya akhlak mulia dalam Islam. Hal ini tercermin pada meningkatnya sikap disiplin, tanggung jawab, etos belajar, serta hubungan sosial yang lebih harmonis di lingkungan pesantren. Internalisasi nilai-nilai hadis juga mendorong santri untuk mengimplementasikan akhlak mulia dalam perilaku sehari-hari. Disimpulkan bahwa sosialisasi hadis tentang akhlak mulia efektif sebagai upaya penguatan karakter religius dan pembentukan perilaku positif santri di lingkungan pesantren.

Abstract

The program of community service was conducted to improve the ability of elementary school teachers to create educational videos by using the CapCut application as a learning medium. The activity took place at SD Negeri 26 Kota Bengkulu and involved both classroom and subject teachers. The program was initiated due to the limited experience of teachers in developing digital learning media, especially video-based content, while students increasingly respond better to visual and interactive materials. The implementation combined introductory sessions and hands-on training, including explanation of basic concepts of educational videos, demonstration of CapCut features, and guided practice in video production. During the training, participants were actively involved in discussions and directly created their own video projects with assistance from the facilitators. The results showed that teachers were able to produce simple educational videos that can be used in classroom learning. In addition to improving technical skills in video editing, the activity also encouraged creativity and increased teachers’ confidence in using digital tools. Overall, this program contributed to the development of more interactive, creative, and technology-based learning practices in elementary education.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance the knowledge and skills of housewives in applying the technology of fish and vegetable cultivation in buckets (budikdamber) as an effort to increase household income and strengthen food self-sufficiency. The implementation methods include a preparation stage through surveys and field observations, coordination with village officials and community leaders, and an implementation stage consisting of counseling, discussion, and demonstration of budikdamber techniques for 20 housewives who are members of a local religious study group in Kandang Limun. The results show high enthusiasm and active participation among the participants, improved understanding of how to cultivate catfish and vegetables in buckets, and increased motivation to start small-scale home-based enterprises using budikdamber. This activity has the potential to strengthen household food security and provide an alternative source of supplementary income for poor and underemployed urban households. Thus, budikdamber can be recommended as a simple, low-cost, and applicable model of household economic empowerment in densely populated residential areas with limited land availability.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya meningkatkan pemahaman istri mengenai adab dan tanggung jawab rumah tangga menurut ajaran Islam. Melalui kegiatan ceramah interaktif di Majelis Muslimatan Desa Banyunning Laok, masyarakat diberikan pemahaman tentang hadis riwayat Sunan al-Tirmidzi yang menjelaskan tingginya kedudukan suami dalam rumah tangga. Materi ceramah menekankan bahwa ketaatan kepada suami wajib dilakukan selama tidak bertentangan dengan syariat Islam. Penerapan nilai hadis difokuskan pada tiga aspek, yaitu ketaatan dalam hal kebaikan, menjaga kehormatan suami dan keluarga, serta mengelola rumah tangga dengan bijak. Kegiatan berlangsung tertib dan mendapat antusiasme tinggi dari peserta. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman dan kesadaran jamaah mengenai pentingnya adab istri kepada suami sebagai upaya membangun keluarga yang harmonis, sakinah, mawaddah, dan warahmah.

Abstract

Mahasiswa daerah yang merantau ke Yogyakarta seringmenghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti adaptasi sosialbudaya, keterbatasan akses informasi, serta kurangnyawadah untuk mengembangkan potensi akademik dan nonakademik. Kondisi ini mendorong pentingnya inisiasi danpembentukan suatu forum yang mampu menjadi saranaedukatif dan produktif bagi mahasiswa asal Sarolangun.Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalahpendekatan partisipatif, meliputi tahap identifikasikebutuhan, sosialisasi, diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD),serta pendampingan dalam pembentukan strukturorganisasi dan program kerja. Kegiatan ini melibatkanmahasiswa asal Sarolangun yang sedang menempuhpendidikan di Yogyakarta sebagai subjek utama. Hasilkegiatan menunjukkan bahwa Formasa YK berhasilterbentuk dengan struktur organisasi yang jelas sertaprogram kerja yang berorientasi pada pengembanganakademik, sosial, dan budaya. Forum ini juga mampumeningkatkan solidaritas antar mahasiswa, menjadi mediaberbagi informasi, mendorong kegiatan produktif sepertidiskusi, dan pelatihan. Kesimpulannya, inisiasi danpembentukan Formasa YK sebagai wadah mahasiswadaerah di perantauan terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkankapasitas individu dan kolektif mahasiswa.

Abstract

Concrete action at the local level represents a form of compliance with international legal norms. Under the 1982 United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS), particularly Article 192, every state has a fundamental obligation to protect and preserve the marine environment. This community service article examines the implementation of these obligations through a mangrove restoration program in the Baros Area, Bantul. Mangrove ecosystems play a strategic role as blue carbon absorbers recognized in international law as important instruments for mitigating global climate change. The management of the Baros area also faces legal challenges because it is located on Sultan Ground land, requiring harmonization between the special autonomy laws of the Special Region of Yogyakarta and national environmental regulations. The program was carried out through participatory legal education and collective mangrove planting involving local communities and students. The results indicate that increasing public understanding of the relationship between local environmental actions and Sustainable Development Goal 14 successfully strengthened community motivation for conservation. This article concludes that mangrove restoration in Baros is not merely an ecological initiative, but also a concrete manifestation of Indonesia’s compliance with international maritime environmental obligations and global climate resilience efforts.
