Abstract

In the context of Elementary School 116 Rejang Lebong, this program aims to encourage healthy gardening methods and good yard land utilization. The first step in the activity's implementation is a socializing exercise in the garden that involves planting real plants including gotu kola, aloe vera, ginger, cat whiskers, and lemongrass. Additionally, media preparation and land planting are done in the educational setting. Students are able to use yard land and comprehend the value of live pharmaceutical plants as a result of this project.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has driven significant changes in the financial system, including the adoption of digital transactions as an alternative to cash transactions. transactions. However, the low level of digital financial literacy in rural communitiesis an obstacle in optimally utilising this technology. Through socialisation and education on non-cash transactions, this community outreach programme aims to increase the digital literacy of the programme aims to improve the digital literacy of the people of Karang Panggung Village, Merigi Sakti Sub-district, Bengkulu Regency. Abstract

The development of technology in the digital era requires Pre-service PPG (Teacher Professional Education) students to possess competencies in designing creative and innovative digital learning media. This training, attended by 30 students, aimed to enhance their ability to design learning media using Canva. The community service activity was conducted online via Zoom, consisting of three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The results of the training showed an average post-test score increase of 35%, reflecting the improvement in participants’ competencies. The participants successfully produced engaging and enjoyable digital learning media that support learning at the elementary school level.

Abstract

The Workshop on the Application of Lesson Study to Develop a Culture of Reflection in the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum aims to introduce and promote the practice of Lesson Study as a tool to improve the quality of learning in schools implementing the Independent Curriculum. The Independent Curriculum was introduced as an effort to provide schools with the freedom to develop curricula that align with local needs and the characteristics of their students. Its urgency lies in the need to adapt effective and relevant teaching approaches to the current educational context. A culture of reflection is key to improving the quality of teaching practices. Through Lesson Study, educators can collaborate, plan, observe, and reflect on their teaching practices regularly. The goal of this workshop is to enhance educators' understanding and skills in applying Lesson Study as a systematic approach to teacher professional development and improving student learning outcomes. The workshop also aims to strengthen the culture of collaboration and reflection among educators so that they can effectively implement the Independent Curriculum while taking into account students' needs and contexts. The targeted outcomes of this workshop include improving teachers' skills in planning, implementing, and evaluating the teaching process through Lesson Study. Thus, this workshop successfully provides teachers with a better understanding of the importance of applying Lesson Study to build a culture of reflection in teaching, particularly in the context of implementing the Independent Curriculum.

Abstract

In this digital era, many people use social media as a means to convey their aspirations because of the aspect of freedom of opinion and expression. However, quite a few cyberbullying is carried out by abusing freedom of opinion, such as criticizing people, carrying out terror in the form of text messages, and other threatening things. This certainly has to be a common concern so that everyone can use social media wisely. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct further studies on the phenomenon of cyberbullying and appropriate handling through strengthening self-control in social media for all groups. This PKM activity was attended by 20 youth participants in Cipari Village. In this activity, participants are given a thorough understanding of cyberbullying and are given strengthening self-control techniques in using social media. Self-control is controlling behavior by considering the whole before deciding on something, so it can be said that control is related to how each participant can control their own behavior and emotions so that they are able to refrain from doing things that are prohibited. The results of this activity show that the majority of participants have sufficient cognitive understanding of cyberbullying and have insight between cognitive and emotional self-regulation in social media

Abstract

Every concept in mathematics is related to one another. In addition, a concept can be a prerequisite for another concept. Mastery of a concept is needed to learn other concepts. One of the materials that is an important foundation in mathematics is the linear equation. The material on linear equations is the basis for understanding more advanced mathematical concepts, such as geometry, statistics, and calculus. Therefore, a strong understanding of this material is very important for the junior high school level. Referring to information from subject teachers and students in the mathematics subject of linear equations for class VIII A, St. Aloysius Catholic Junior High School Niki-Niki explained that there are still many students in class VIII A who have learning outcomes that are below the criteria set by the school. So a solution is needed to solve the problems being experienced, one of which can be done is to carry out community service, namely providing training in the use of the Geogebra application which can significantly help students build an understanding of the concept of linear equations. Abstract

This Social Development Study Program is one of the new study programs at Musamus Merauke University, more specifically at the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences. As a new study program, of course, not much is known by the people in the southern region of Papua about the existence of this study program, so with this socialization, at least it can provide important information for the community of the existence of this study program. This academic socialization activity is not only to introduce and provide academic information about the study program to the wider community, but also to attract new students so that this study program gets its own specialization, especially for students who want to advance their education at a higher level, so with this activity it can attract the interest of prospective students to choose and join this study program..

Abstract

This community service project aims to change MSMEs' perceptions of financial transaction documentation, particularly among Jamu micro-enterprises (UM) in Bengkulu City. Following the offline community service activity, there was a significant increase in interest in documenting financial transactions within Kube, a joint business group in Jamu Sumber Rejeki. Prior to the activity, the group's Gradation Index (GI) was at 100%, indicating a high level of disinterest. After the program, 80% of participants moved into the "quite interested" to "very interested" categories, with a post-test GI score of 3.55, classifying them as "interested." This reflects an increase in interest from 20% to 80%. The target GI score for success was set at 3.6, and post-test results showed an improvement from 2.6 to 3.55, indicating that the activity was "on target" or "successful."

Abstract

Addiction counseling training is a strategic effort to improve the professional competence of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers in dealing with increasingly complex addiction problems among students. This activity not only strengthens conceptual understanding of addictive behavior, but also equips teachers with practical skills to provide effective and evidence-based interventions. One of the approaches introduced in this training is the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), an energy-based psychological technique that has been proven to reduce stress, anxiety, and compulsive drives that often underlie addictive behavior. The results of the training showed that BK teachers gained significant improvements in their knowledge and intervention skills, and were able to apply EFT adaptively in counseling services in schools. These findings emphasize the importance of ongoing professional development that not only focuses on cognitive aspects, but also includes practical approaches that are relevant to the psychosocial needs of students. Thus, this training contributes directly to improving the quality of guidance and counseling services in schools.

Abstract

Most teachers do not yet have adequate knowledge of the concepts, methodologies, and stages of PTK. This causes them difficulty in designing and implementing systematic research to improve the learning process in the classroom. The purpose of the activity is to improve teachers' understanding and skills in identifying learning problems and designing reflective improvement actions through training PTK. The implementation methods include socialization, training, technology application, mentoring, and evaluation, as well as ensuring the sustainability of the program. Based on the post-test results conducted after the activity, it was found that there was a significant improvement in teachers' understanding of the concepts and steps in designing Classroom Action Research (PTK). The majority of participants were able to systematically design PTK plans relevant to the learning issues in their respective classrooms. These results indicate that the training successfully equipped teachers with the basic skills needed to integrate research into teaching practices to improve the quality of education. Â
