Abstract

The use of interactive evaluation media in learning is very necessary. This is in order to provide skills to students as prospective teachers to support the implementation of learning and learning media that are favored by students today. The purpose of this training activity is to improve students' skills in developing interactive evaluation media. The participants of the training activities are students of the Chemistry Education Study Program consisting of 21 6th semester students. The training activities for developing interactive evaluation media include the preparation stage of the activity, the implementation stage of the activity, and the evaluation of the activity. Student trainees as prospective teachers need to be equipped with skills that support the implementation of learning and learning media that are favored by students today. The training activities that have been carried out show that students are interested in developing interactive evaluation media to make assessment activities more fun and less rigid.

Abstract

Science teaching aids (props, experimental equipment) are tools used to teach students something so that they can learn something in their subject. Based on the community service results obtained, it can be concluded that the response from alumni of the Science Education Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics, Makassar State University regarding 1) Understanding teaching aids, namely 88.2%, strongly agreed, and the other 11.8% answered agree.  2) 76.5% of the tools used to make the props strongly agreed and the other 23.5% answered agree. 3) Responses regarding various types of props were 76.5% strongly agree, and the other 23.5% answered agree.

Abstract

Indonesian workers abroad often face different work environments compared to Indonesia, including stricter ethical and moral standards. They represent the nation in their host countries. Anti-corruption education for prospective Indonesian workers can help build a positive image of professionalism and integrity, increasing other countries' trust in their quality and work ethics. The goal of this education is to develop a firm stance against workplace corruption both domestically and abroad. The community service partner is PT. Global Lubna Jaya Sukoharjo. The service method is online, using simulations and case studies. Results show significant understanding of anti-corruption culture among the participants, who commit to avoiding corrupt practices and fighting corruption together.

Abstract

Red ginger is a type of ginger found in Indonesia. Apart from being widely used as a kitchen spice, red ginger contains essential oils which can be used as medicine. The active substances in essential oils have properties for preventing and treating various diseases, such as coughs, dizziness, aches, angina and nausea. Linggasari Village is one of the villages in Kembaran District, Banyumas Regency which is currently still developing. Through the observation process, it was discovered that the residents of this village had planted a lot of red ginger plants, but they had not yet utilized them optimally for health. Therefore, counseling and training on making red ginger drinks was carried out in this village. This was done as an effort to use red ginger as a family medicinal plant in the village. The residents of Linggasari Village were very enthusiastic about participating in this activity. After providing counseling and training, it is hoped that the villagers will be able to use red ginger as a medicinal drink that they can make themselves and is beneficial for their health.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play an important role in the Indonesian economy, but often face challenges such as limited access to technology, quality of human resources, and marketing. This community service activity aims to help MSMEs achieve product differentiation through innovation and creativity strategies. The methods used include theoretical training and practical workshops. The results of the activity showed an increase in participants' knowledge and skills in developing innovative products and creative marketing strategies. Evaluation through questionnaires and interviews showed participant satisfaction and increased sales after implementing new strategies. Challenges faced included limited resources and time, which were overcome through collaboration with related institutions and follow-up programs. Thus, this activity succeeded in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs in local and international markets, as well as contributing to the national economy. The sustainability of the program is pursued through ongoing mentoring programs and the formation of MSME innovation communities. These results show that innovation and creativity strategies can be an effective solution to overcome the challenges faced by MSMEs and improve community welfare.

Abstract

The First 1000 Days of Life is a period of 270 days (nine months) in the womb plus the first 730 days (two years) of a child's life. The first 1,000 days of life are important because this is a period of growth and development for children who are in a risky period. This community service aims to find out the level of understanding of teenagers and women, especially pregnant women, about the importance of nutrition for children's growth and development and minimizing unwanted diseases that occur in children in KB Rawa Makmur Village RT 12 RW 01. This community service is Community Service, community description, using audio (visual) methods, using instruments in the form of questionnaires (pre-test and post-test). A total of 30 respondents in this community service were residents of KB Rawa Makmur Village RT 12 RW 01, Bengkulu City. The results of this percentage show that there is progress or advancement in the knowledge that has been obtained by mothers and young women in Rawa Makmur KB Village, Bengkulu City. The conclusion from this activity is that education and counseling can increase knowledge in the community about the importance of the first 1000 days of life for children.

Abstract

The issue faced by the MSME partners of Warung Jajanan Hafshah is their inability to create consignment sales reports that adhere to accounting standards. To address these challenges, the initiative focuses on providing support to these partners, aiming to enhance their skills in compiling consignment sales reports. The community service program employs mentoring, discussions, and feedback methods with the partners. As a result of this initiative, the MSME partners have successfully developed and implemented consignment sales reports using Microsoft Excel in a systematic manner. Through the mentoring sessions conducted, it is evident that partners are now capable of generating consignment sales reports both manually and systematically. Additionally, a key outcome of this community service activity includes the publication of findings in a national journal.

Abstract

This activity aims to raise awareness and provide an understanding about financial literacy through early savings activities for the children in Sekolah Pinggiran Sriwijaya so they can improve the quality of life and walfare in the future. The implementation method for this activity is carried out in three stages that are 1)discussion; 2)tutorial and; 3)practice. The results showed that children can understand about importance of saving from an early age to adopt frugal lifestyle for a better future. Furthermore, children have succeeded in setting aside their pocket money to be saved ini piggy banks which they have decorated with their own creativity.

Abstract

Maternal mortality rates (MMR) are frequently used to evaluate a community's level of health. In general, the effectiveness of maternal health initiatives may also be assessed using MMR. One factor that contributes to the maternal mortality rate is high-risk pregnancies. High-risk pregnancies are those that have conditions that might raise the fetus's chance of abnormalities or injury. Low- and lower-middle-income nations, such as Indonesia, account for about 95% of all maternal mortality. Numerous studies have have shown that pregnant women lack knowledge of health risks during pregnancy. A potential strategy for lowering MMR is educating women about high-risk pregnancies. The purpose of this community service project is to educate expectant mothers about pregnancy risks in order to reduce complications for both the mother and the fetus at Rumah Pelita Manyaran, Semarang City. Providing education is done through the counseling method. The media used is leaflet media. Pregnant women who attended the Pregnant Women Class at Rumah Pelita Manyaran in Semarang City were the targets of this social project. The results of the measurement indicated a significant growth in knowledge. Pregnant women in the good category had a knowledge level of 45% before counseling, and that level of knowledge increased to 60% after counseling.

Abstract

According to the Ministry of Education and Culture, financial literacy education is very necessary to educate people to be aware and understand how to manage finances wisely. Financial literacy education must be given to children, especially elementary school-age children as early as possible. Introducing financial literacy to children can be done by introducing children to the values ​​of money and the culture of saving. Initial observation results show that most students use all their pocket money for consumption. This is what underlies the importance of strengthening financial literacy for children, especially at the elementary school level. PkM activities are carried out by focusing on introducing financial concepts through introducing nominal money and saving activities by making piggy banks. The training method was carried out in two sessions, namely session 1 with face-to-face presentation of the material by the resource person and session 2 training in making educational media to improve. The activity results showed an increase in students' understanding of financial concepts with active participation and high enthusiasm for using money wisely, as well as fostering a sense of the importance of saving for the future.
